Yay, it’s Friday! TGIF and have a drink on me! All the while, our world is going to hell in a fiery, out-of-control basket. Whatever y’all do, make certain to FILTER the news you read and watch. We are ALL receiving misinformation constantly from the 24/7 news networks, internet and print media. Need proof of this? Just tune into the coverage of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. Sad.
The talking mannequins on television only give a shit about RATINGS and how they look on camera; therefore, it’s the Dewey Defeats Truman philosophy of journalism that we must unfortunately live with, from yesterday and today’s news outlets.

Now on to some better news… which is… music. Take a look below at the super-cool concert flyer for SKID ROW and BLACK STAR RIDERS! Whoa!! Two gigs coming-up, this May in California! Whoa!!
As I do (loyally) utilize the vast social network known as Twitter, I found this exceptional quote, (below), from a historically legendary dude whose name is Alphonse De Lamartine. The NAMM Twitter account posted this quote and I snagged it for my post. Yup.
In the event you don’t know who this dude was, here’s a lightning-quick history lesson: Alphonse Marie Louis de Prat de Lamartine was a French writer, poet and politician. Alphonse was born on October 21, 1790, in Mâcon, France and died in Paris, France, back on February 28, 1869.

Just in case you’ve just woken up from sleeping through these past several days, KISS and Def Leppard will be touring together this Summer.
By now, y’all are wondering why Stone slapped the album cover for PEARL JAM Ten, on the top of this post. Answer: I bought the CD of Ten, yesterday at Best Buy for $3.99 (U.S.). Not a bad price for a tried and true Rock classic. I’ve forever owned Ten on cassette, thus an upgrade was essential. Pearl Jam’s Ten has grown on me over the years, that’s for certain. Metal be thy name.
