ALLEGAEON will be touring in support of their sixth studio album, DAMNUM, set for release on February 25th via Metal Blade Records. ALLEGAEON have built themselves a unique place in the musical landscape, forcing both technicality and melody to the forefront as they create tumultuous and riveting death metal. With DAMNUM, they push everything further into the extreme, and in the process deliver the definitive ALLEGAEON record. Preview and purchase DAMNUM at metalblade.com/allegaeon.
“ALLEGAEON’s metamorphosis from mechanical tech-deathheads to progressive wayfarers has been as smooth as it was unpredictable. They’ve avoided the period of stagnation that brings down so many great tech bands. We should have all guessed from those Rush and Yes covers which way the wind was blowing, but few would have predicted just how impressive DAMNUM would be.” — Metal Injection

Helsinki based 5-piece Death Metal band OvDeth brings their unique touch to the Nordic extreme metal scene. Since 2016, the band has forged their solid Death Metal rooted music into a recognizable style that conveys a deep and gloomy atmosphere. “From darkness to despair, and ultimately to integrity”. The band voyages boldly into these stands, both on the record and live.
MortalBurden showcases Death Metal songs from an epic atmosphere to kick-ass headbanging. Each piece paints its own world, tells its own story, and adds to the entire four-part EP. Blasts, grooves, heavy riffs, melodic surprises and slicing growls. With these, Mortal Burden takes it’s audience from the historical battle to the mouth of the demon.
Bigfoot-inspired death metal band TROGLODYTE has re-emerged from the Missouri wilderness with their newest bloody slab of brutality, The Hierarchical Ecological Succession: WelcometotheFoodChain.
The album’s first single comes in the form of an 8-bit lyric video for the song “Meat Your Maker,” featuring guest vocals by RossSewage (EXHUMED, GHOUL, IMPALED). Ross had this to say about his contribution: “I was pleased as punch when the mutants in Troglodyte asked me to be a part of their music track, ‘Meat Your Maker.’ This was in fact because they punched me, repeatedly, until I meekly gurgled out my parts. Don’t fuck with Troglodyte.”
“Meat Your Maker” is also available on all streaming platforms.
The band’s long-awaited fourth album features a rouge’s gallery of names from the metal community. ORIGIN bassist Mike Flores, who has taken part in numerous live shows with the band for years, is making his first studio appearance, writing and recording bass on the new album. BrentPurgason (aka PustulusMaximus of GWAR), ShwanKnight (CHILD BITE), and RossSewage (EXHUMED, GHOUL, IMPALED) also make guest appearances.
BloodBlastDistribution will release TheHierarchicalEcologicalSuccession: WelcometotheFoodChain on all streaming platforms on 3/5/22.
TheHierarchicalEcologicalSuccession: WelcometotheFoodChain was recorded and mixed by Ryan Vincent/Apollo Audio Alt (Misery Index, Scour). Album artwork by Dusty Peterson (Cattle Decapitation, Six Feet Under, Lamb of God).
TROGLODYTE has been battering audiences with their unique brand of knuckle-dragging metal for well over a decade. Created by special effect artist and music video director Jeff Sisson as an homage to all things Bigfoot, the “creature-features” of the ’70s-’80s and classic death metal.
With titles like “Bring Me the Head of Bigfoot,” “Mummified Yeti Hand,” “Murderous Bi-Pedal Hominid Rampage (Where are My Legs?)” and “Entrails Torn from a Cryptid’s Gut,” these songs are not for the faint of heart or those without a sense of humor.
Appearances at the annual Gwar BQ, Detroit’s Berserker, Las Vegas Death Fest, and Denver’s Black Sky festival, as well as hundreds of shows supporting touring acts such as HATEBREED, ROB ZOMBIE, and GWAR, have made them crowd favorites.
The current line-up features Mike Flores from ORIGIN, as well as Michael Langner and Brandon Mitchell from TORNTHEFUCKAPART.

Keyboards and Orchestra performed by Lou Kelley. ReleaseMySuffering was recorded and mixed by Hunter Peterson at Desidarius Recordings. Album artwork by Chadwick St. John.
Originally formed in 2011 from the ashes of other local death metal groups, GORESKINCOFFIN started as a three-piece featuring Dean Rice (drums), Dustin Stark (guitar/vocals), and Justice Reckis (bass). The trio wrote and released their debut album, Corpse Filled Caskets, that same year. The album drew influences from black and death metal bands, both classic and modern.
Following a six-year hiatus, GORESKINCOFFIN returned with the addition of Cody Winter on vocals. The band released their second full-length, ShatteredConceptionsOvReality, in 2017. Guitarist Randy Hoofard joined the fold shortly thereafter. In 2018, the band released the CursedPaths EP.
GORESKINCOFFIN then amicably parted ways with Hoofard, a move that saw Reckis pick up guitar duties and the addition of new bassist Edgar Castro-Salazar. The newly invigorated lineup released the “Wrath and Ruin” single in 2021 before going to work on their newest burnt offering, Release My Suffering.

Bilbao (ES) – SoulsellerRecords proudly presents FromBeyondTheBurialMound, the full-length debut album from Spanish death metal maggots SEPULCHRAL! The album will be released February 25 on CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats.
The album’s first single, “Harbor of Drifting Souls,” is available on all digital platforms, including youtu.be/dLyjBrFb3gw.
SEPULCHRAL crawled out of the coffin when main composer Dusk wanted to release some old school death metal in the vein hof the old European bands. He composed four songs in 2015, but it was not until 2016 that he and the guitarist Wolf recorded a demo with two of those tracks called Rest In Sepulchral Darkness. After the nice reception the duo recorded a second demo the following year, Dust Of The Rotting Dead, but this time accompanied by new member Gaueko, who was in charge of the guitars and some vocals.
In 2018, Wolf left the band, and Dusk and Gaueko continued with the recording of an EP (Graveyard Repugnance) that they released in 2019. In 2020 Dusk recruited a new member to take care of the guitars and drums, leaving Gaueko in charge of vocals only.
Now, SEPULCHRAL arise from the tomb with their first full-length album, packed with catchy, putrid, crusty death metal that will make you jump from your coffin! FromBeyondTheBurialMound was recorded by the band members themselves, mixed and mastered by Gorka Pérez, and features cover art by Jaime P.S.

Finnish death metal trio DESOLATE SHRINE will reemerge from the crypts with their newest offering, FiresoftheDyingWorld. DarkDescentRecords will release the album on CD, cassette, and digital formats on March 25. Vinyl treatment coming later this year.
At long last the successor to 2017’s Deliverance from the Godless Void has been unconfined from the clandestine vaults of Dark Descent Records. Aptly titled Fires of the Dying World, Finland’s DESOLATE SHRINE delivers 46 minutes of their unique death metal possession. The masterful craftsmanship on DESOLATE SHRINE’s fifth album is unmistakable; a true portrait of a band at their absolute peak.
Yet be forewarned before indulging from the poison chalice of Fires of the Dying World for it ensnares its victims in an inescapable maelstrom of death and futility. Absolute surrender is the recommended response, as you descend into a claustrophobic trance that erases the world around and reaches into your very soul. When you awaken… nothing will be quite the same again… Let the fires burn.
San Francisco (CA) – Brutal Death/Industrial Metal healers MÆNTRA have released a Drum/Guitar Playthrough Video for “Svadhisthana,” the first single from forthcoming debut album Kundalini Rising. Featuring Adam Houmam (drums) and Rudy Pina (guitar), the video is available at the following link: youtu.be/kW1rjY88pPg and below:
MÆNTRA will release Kundalini Rising on February 18.
A lyric video for “Svadhisthana” is also available at youtu.be/4bOyD6SQZYc. The single is streaming on Bandcamp as well.
13.8 billion years ago, the universe was born from a big bang and consciousness was created through the sound of OM. From the journey of billions of years of evolution, survival, death, rebirth, wars, peace, and music emerges MÆNTRA, a quartet committed to helping their listeners find their own personal light by playing in the darkness and embracing aggression. MÆNTRA lays their meditative lyrics on top of a unique blend of brutal death metal, industrial sounds, atmospheric tones, and intentional healing energy.
It is said that by simply playing the debut album, Kundalini Rising, the listener is brought to a state of euphoria and dissolution of the ego. Time no longer has meaning and the past and present don’t exist. Layering a sonically aggressive sound with intentional healing and empowering lyrics, this journey of releasing demons and rejuvenating the soul is grounded in a tour of the seven chakras, guiding listeners through the healing process to release tension, erase limited beliefs, and improve overall physical and mental clarity. Fans can expect in person healing through MÆNTRA’s unique live experience shortly thereafter.
MÆNTRA was formed in 2017 through the current third dimensional incarnations of guitarist and vocalist Rudy Pina and drummer Adam Houmam (Cartilage, Ghoul, Terrorizer L.A.). The universe then brought Paul Ryan (Origin) on bass/vocals and keyboardist Martin Boynton (Short Fuse) to complete the team.

Composer MIKA KANKAINEN comments:”METEOR is a product of black, destroyed heart filled with emotions. Heavy, straight forward and raw. The strongest song I have ever written.”
“Grand forger of cold and melodic metal Shade of Sorrow is back with a new single “Meteor”. This one of the most promising new flag-bearers of Finnish metal scene is ready to take the world by storm and that storm is coming from the North!”

Madison (WI) – Midwest Death Machine CASKETROBBERY have officially released their newest single, “Bone Mother.” The song is now available on Spotify and all other streaming platforms.
“Bone Mother” is dedicated to the memory of Eric Orvold, father of CASKET ROBBERY vocalist Megan Orvold.
CASKET ROBBERY recently released a video for “Bone Mother.” HorrorPatch.com called the video “a claymation masterpiece of darkness and horror that you’re going to want to check out.”
The video was directed and created by Shayne Minott of Budget Blood Productions. “Bone Mother” was produced and engineered by Troy Powell at Unintended Studios, and mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson.
Emerging from the darkest and most desolate areas of the Midwest, CASKET ROBBERY creates its own signature style of death metal by infusing horror and occult themes. Their trademark huge riffs and unstoppable grooves create the unrelenting, brutally catchy, and eerie sound that only CASKET ROBBERY is known for. Death metal with a wink.
CASKET ROBBERY’s intense, high energy shows have quickly surfaced a die hard following. They continue to show a relentless work ethic and dedication to their fanbase. After the release of their debut album CASKET ROBBERY has toured the United States continually, hitting large festivals like Full Terror Assault and Milwaukee Summerfest. The new single from Canadian death metal horror freaks VHS is ready to impale you like Vlad. “Horror of Dracula” is a bloody death ‘n’ roll basher featuring guest vocals from Trevor Strnad of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. The song was premiered exclusively at Decibel Magazine ahead of the December release of the band’s upcoming vampire-themed record I Heard They Suck… Blood. With songs based on vamp classics like The Lost Boys and Near Dark, the album will thrill death metal and horror fanatics alike.
Decibel Magazine writes:
“Fans of EXHUMED, IMPETIGO, CARCASS, MORTICIAN and fake blood will go nuts for “Horror of Dracula,” which hits all the pleasure spots in the brain: ominous riffs, fast-paced mosh parts, guttural grooves and a Simpsons sample. Strnad’s vocals add another layer of depth, in addition to a familiar voice.”
Texas death bringers I AM will kick off 2022 supporting death metal veterans Nile on their Age Of Vile Divinities US Tour. The trek begins on February 3rd in Nashville, Tennessee and makes its way through over two dozen cities, coming to a close on March 12th in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Additional support will be provided by Incantation and Sanguisugabogg.
Comments the band: “We’re incredibly excited to smash over a month of dates with some monsters of bands. With new music hidden away, it’s swelled up and ready to burst. Be prepared to enter into our domain. See y’all in February!” See all confirmed dates below.
I AM have come to embody the subgenre known as “Texas death.” While the band takes influence from “The Big Four,” their homage to artists like Pantera, Power Trip, and Cro-Mags is undeniable. Their signature style of dive-bomb guitars and guitar-driven riffs has come to define the genre.
Formed by vocalist AndrewHileman in 2011, I AM quickly gained recognition in the great state of Texas as being a band meant for bigger things. After paying their proverbial dues and touring relentlessly, solidifying Texas death across North America on tour with bands like The Acacia Strain, For The Fallen Dreams, and Kublai Khan, I AM released their debut album, Life Through Torment, in February of 2017.
By 2018, the band began recording a new album with Randy Lebeouf at Graphic Nature Audio (Kublai Khan, Left Behind, Great American Ghost) with a vision of capturing their chaotic live performance and power they’d become known for. Hard 2 Kill was released in November of that year to serious critical acclaim. Decibel Magazine declared, “I AM know how to write songs that make you want to move,” Kerrang! noted, “Devoid of pretension and brimming with tangible anger, the band’s music is an angry headbanger’s dream.”
I AM will release their next full-length via MNRKHeavy with details to be unveiled in the months to come.

Madrid (SP) – Spanish Death Metal horde THIRTEEN BLED PROMISES will release Foundation this October 22 on Lacerated Enemy Records. The EP’s first single, “A Humanless War,” is available now at youtu.be/BMFDeoTly08.

On the Foundation EP, THIRTEEN BLED PROMISES play dissonant blackened technical death metal in the vein of Obscura, Der Weg einer Freiheit and Abhorrent.
Comments Lacerated Enemy: “We are very pleased to announce that THIRTEEN BLED PROMISES has joined Lacerated Enemy family. Hailing from Madrid, Spain, THIRTEEN BLED PROMISES formed in 2006 creating their brand of technical Brutal Death Metal. After releasing two successful albums, Heliopause Fleets (2012) and The Black Legend (2015), the band established a strong fan base in Europe and received great reviews for both.”
While supporting numerous well known acts since the creation of the band, THIRTEEN BLED PROMISES was ready to enter the studio again to record another masterpiece of blackened technical death metal. The record brings its influences from progressive and technical songwriting, while still accompanied by a blackened atmospheric quality that keeps the listener intrigued about what will come next.
