WOLFHEART – Returns With EU Tour and New Single, “Carnivore” Ahead Of New EP Draconian Darkness II

Finnish melodic death metal titans WOLFHEART return with Draconian Darkness II, an ambitious EP that deepens their frostbitten legacy. Lead single “Carnivore” sets the tone for the EP with menacing riffs and vicious growls, growing in power and grandeur as the track creeps along.

Vocalist Tuomas Saukkonen comments, “Carnivore continues where ‘Draconian Darkness’ ended. Clearly, the full-length was not enough to extinguish the flame of inspiration ignited by the darker side of humanity. Instead of seeking balance and harmony with nature and other species around us, we feed and feast on the world we live in. Consume more than is our share. Where nature brings harmony, we bring the fire and darkness. Also musically, “Carnivore” is heavily drawn into the darker and more majestic side of Wolfheart.”

Finnish winter metal monolith WOLFHEART has released a ferocious new single, “Evenfall”, off their highly-anticipated album Draconian Darkness, to be released on September 6th, 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music. Hard-charging, memorable riffs lead into a soaring, strikingly melodic chorus, with clean vocals layered under roaring harshes. The band comments on the single, “‘Evenfall’ is the most guitar/riff driven and also least symphonic song on the album and creates a perfect link to the old school Wolfheart material from the first 2 albums. WOLFHEART – Release Frigid New Single “Grave”

Summer may be just beginning, but Finnish melodic death metal maestros WOLFHEART are already looking ahead to the release of their new album Draconian Darkness. Recorded at Deep Noise Studios and produced, mixed, and mastered by the band’s long-time collaborator Saku Moilanen, the album will be released on September 6, 2024, via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), just as the somber season returns.
