Decibel Magazine Tour Dates And Pre-Sale Packages Announced

Behemoth, Watain, The Devil’s Blood and In Solitude To Terrorize North America This Spring!

The inaugural Decibel Magazine Tour, announced late last week, will feature the long-awaited stateside return of Polish blackened Death Metal overlords Behemoth, as well as support from Swedish Black Metal provocateurs Watain, Dutch prog mystics The Devil’s Blood and Swedish old-school occultists In Solitude. And now, the dates are in!


The near month-long run, presented by Metal Blade Records, IndieMerchStore.com, FYE, ESP Guitars and Good Fight Entertainment, will commence on April 11 in Columbus, Ohio and level 23 cities before coming to a ceremonial close on May 12 in New York City.

Pre-sale tickets and package deals are on sale NOW through Decibel Magazine. A limited number of premium packages are available in each city and include:
- one (1) ticket to the show
- one (1) tour t-shirt
- one (1) tour poster
- one (1) “Skip The Line” pass to get you in the doors first.

Aside from the premium packages, every general admission ticket has lower service fees then you’ll find elsewhere, and comes with a commemorative laminate. In addition, every ticket purchased through the Decibel Magazine page will be entered to win an ESP Guitar!

Mark Reale (RIOT Founder, Guitarist) – Rest In Peace

Mark Reale, founder and guitarist for RIOT passed away on January 25, 2012, at age 56. Mark was also the cofounder and guitarist for the Hard Rock band Westworld. The following is a direct quote from The Official Web Site of Mark Reale:

KING DIAMOND – To Headline At Sweden Rock Festival And Hellfest In 2012!

KING DIAMOND has recently teamed up with Nick Storch at ICM and Paul Ryan at The Agency Group.

Nick Storch will be in charge of booking KING DIAMOND concerts in North and South America, and Paul Ryan will be in charge of booking concerts in Europe and the rest of the world.

But that’s not all…!

In the past year King Diamond focused on the recovery from an open heart triple bypass surgery and is now going to return to the stage!

Yeah, that’s right:

KING DIAMOND will be headlining the Rock Stage at the Sweden Rock Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

This will be the only show in Scandinavia in 2012!

BIBLE OF THE DEVIL – Releasing ‘For The Love of Thugs and Fools’ on May 8th, 2012, via Cruz Del Sur Music

Veteran Chicago Rock n’ Roll band Bible of the Devil have announced the completion of their sixth full-length album and third for Rome, Italy, based label Cruz Del Sur Music and have set May 8th, 2012 as the album’s release date.

Entitled For the Love of Thugs and Fools, Bible of the Devil’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to their 2008 release, Freedom Metal, is an assembly of raging Rock n’ Roll songs that encapsulate the band’s saga musically and personally over the years since the last full-length. Returning to Phantom Manor studios in Chicago to work with engineer Mike Lust, who has engineered numerous BOTD recordings in the past, the band sought to emphasize their trademark bludgeoning two-guitar attack and mammoth hooks with an increased attention to soaring, anthemic vocals.

For the Love of Thugs and Fools is viewed by the band as a document of the many characters they have encountered through the life of the band, whether it be in love, loss, friendship, or hatred. Having toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe since the band’s inception in late 1999 and living in the volatile urban environment of Chicago, where encounters with crime, violence, and ‘street justice’ are unavoidable, there has been much subject matter for the band to draw from.

Embracing the philosophy that a bottle of whiskey and some loud guitar is often the best cure available for these challenges and ordeals, Bible of the Devil have chosen to document their grievances in the form of one devastating Rock n’ Roll platter.

Said singer/guitarist Mark Hoffmann, “The few years since the last full-length have been like a dare.  A dare to create a soaring, punishing Rock n’ Roll record of this magnitude. It is a dare that we have been forced to answer ourselves.” Fans of Bible of the Devil can expect yet another collection of fist-pumping heavy guitar classics-in-the-making, For the Love of Thugs and Fools.
