The band’s name and concept comes from Patristics which is the study of the early Christian writers who are designated Church Fathers. The period is generally considered to run from the end of New Testament times or end of the Apostolic Age (c. AD 100) to either AD 451 (the date of the Council of Chalcedon) or to the Second Council of Nicaea in 787.

Finnish melodic death metal giants BEFORE THE DAWN will release their new studio album, Cold Flare Eternal, on September 5th via Reaper Entertainment.

Today the band unveils latest single, “Stellar Effect,” and its accompanying video. “Stellar Effect” is more than just a single, it’s a haunting anthem for those who walk the line between darkness and light. A sonic journey through sorrow, strength, and self-reflection.
