Hellbent is a fierce five-song blast of readily identifiable IMPENDING DOOM brutality. The EP showcases the enduring trio who formed the creative core of the band in Riverside, California: Sittig, vocalist Brook Reeves, and guitarist Manny Contreras. “Satanic Panic,” “New World Horror,” “Culture of Death,” “I Must End,” and the title track are punishingly incisive entries into the band’s esteemed canon, which stretches back to their 2005 demo. With All Hallows’ Eve and the Day of the Dead fast approaching, the L.A.-based thrash/death/shred quartet EXMORTUS has unveiled a visualizer for the title track for their just-released horror-themed EP Legions of the Undead. As Gonzalez acknowledged, the song “Legions of the Dead” nods to the Dead Men of Dunharrow in “Lord Of The Rings.” It is joined on the new EP by one other new original track – the “Evil Dead”-inspired “Swallow Your Soul” – as well as three instrumental covers: renditions of Danny Elfman’s “Beetlejuice” theme and Bernard Hermann’s theme from Alfred Hitchcock’s horror classic “Psycho,” as well as a neoclassical shred take on 19th Century Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky’s haunting “Night On Bald Mountain.”
Recorded earlier this year with longtime producer Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Immolation) at Oakland’s Sharkbite Studios, “Legions Of The Undead” – the cover art for which was designed by Toha “AHOT” Mashudi – is now available via the band’s own Exmortus Music in cooperation with M-Theory Audio. Physical copies can be ordered on CD and limited-edition green slime-colored vinyl HERE.
“Legions Of The Undead” marks the first EXMORTUS release featuring the lineup – founding guitarist/vocalist Gonzalez, guitarist Chase Becker (also of Warbringer), bassist Cody Nunez and drummer Adrian Aguilar – that has logged numerous miles on the road together over the past two years with the likes of Obituary, Venom Inc., Sabaton, Kreator, Havok, Allegaeon, Hatchet, Homewrecker and The Absence. The group – whose most recent performance was alongside Exodus at the legendary thrash group’s sold-out “Bonded By Con” concert during San Diego’s recent Comic-Con – will support another iconic Bay Area act this fall, when they team up with Death Angel for a five-week tour across the U.S. and Canada. Founded by Gonzalez when he was just 12 years old, EXMORTUS released their debut album, “In Hatred’s Flame,” via Heavy Artillery in 2008. After gaining additional acclaim with their 2011 sophomore effort “Beyond The Fall Of Time,” the group signed a three-album deal with Prosthetic Records in 2013. In support of that acclaimed trilogy of releases (2014’s “Slave To The Sword,” 2016’s “Ride Forth” and 2018’s “The Sound Of Steel”), the band toured alongside some of metal’s biggest names, including Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Abbath, Dark Tranquillity and Marty Friedman, earning extensive praise along the way for their live power, prowess and proficiency.

Infected Dead made a grand impression with their Lovecraftian cosmic horror debut Archaic Malevolence and have left fans salivating for more ever since. Today the band proudly reveal a blistering new single and video to sate those in wait, a track entitled ‘The Rache’ out now via Hostile Media.

The video was shot in the woods of Heathfield, Sussex UK earlier this summer with Loki Films. Vocalist Lou Ede elaborates: “The song is loosely based on the lesser known Lovecraft short story ‘The Hound’ so the main concept we had in mind was to give the allusion of the band being stalked by the titular monster, I think the director did a great job of getting that across.”
“We are delighted to finally be unleashing our first fresh track since Archaic Malevolence. It was great to be back working with Wynter Prior (producer) and work is well underway on our debut album, we’re really excited to share the first glimpse of what we’ve been up to over the past year.”
‘The Rache’ was produced by Wynter Prior, while Inner Sound overseen mixing and mastering. Luciferium War Graphics manned the helm once again for the epic artwork.

The Grammy-nominated extreme power metal group is based in London, England. The group is known for their long, complex, and fast guitar solos performed by Herman Li and Sam Totman, who founded the band after meeting through a classified ad in 1999. Hyderabad based Hardcore/ Crossover Thrash Metal act R.A.I.D – The second single called- ‘Outrage’ is part of the next full length that the band is planning to unveil soon. The title and release date will be announced soon via Rottweiler Records.
Front man Rueben says: “The song ‘Outrage’ is about breaking free from the norms and pressures created by society/the people around us. A lot of poisonous trends have been created that affect a good way of life. To overcome these hurdles, the only way out is to have an unbreakable state of mind. We are the captain of our fate, the master of our soul, the boss of our dreams and the king of our goals. It is up to us to negate the poison around us and create our own legacy.” The song is rebellious and speaks in the tone of a fallen soul who goes out to seek what he is meant to do. About ANGELES:
Dale Lytle and Dave Raudman united the musicians that would form the band known as Angeles. Their first Hollywood gig was at the Troubadour where they were setting attendance records playing the midnight slot on Sunday nights. They also played at The Whiskey and The Roxy on the Sunset strip in Hollywood California and they became one of L.A.’s largest Indie bands of the 80’s. They performed at Devonshire Downs outdoor stadium to over 6,000 people twice and also played In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida with Ron Bushy from Iron Butterfly.
In 1984, Angeles performed at the Reseda Country Club, appearing with Bon Jovi. They have also shared a stage with Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ratt, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Ronnie James Dio, Jefferson Starship, Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Jack Russell’s “Great White”, The Tubes, Foghat, Y&T, Michael Schenker and Dokken just to name a few of the legends of Rock N Roll. Signed to Mystic records, Angeles recorded their debut album “We’re No Angels”. In 1984. They were featured in the1985 September issue of Hit Parader magazine. A number of Angeles’ songs, including “Nasty Girls”, “You Want Me To Love You”, and “Can’t Find the Words” has been played on nationwide radio stations.
In 1999, their album “No Limits” was featured on 95.5 KLOS Local Licks Sunday night program. Angeles was honored to not only be featured on the program four times, but they were also the only band to ever have six songs played on a Double Local Licks feature in a single program. During one week in 1999, “Can’t Find the Words” was played 527 times. The song continued to play nationwide on radio stations. Angeles has released 12 albums (CDs) to date with “Time of Truth’ being released in October, 2018 on Bongo Boy Records.

About Artwork For the Blind:
In 2012, Artwork for the Blind began with an original line up of Chris Brackett (Guitarist), Sean Coy Curry (Vocalist), Mike Hoehn (Bassist), and Larry Myers (Drummer). The quartet soon began writing their first set of songs and gigging around the Louisville area. In 2014, the group released their self-produced, self-titled album to much praise in the Louisville local metal scene. Then in 2015, the group started writing and recording their second self-produced album, II.
Soon after II was released, guitarist Chris Brackett decided to bow out of the group citing health issues. The group had been recording at Louisville guitarist Sol. E. Williams house, so it was only natural that Sol. be asked to take Brackett’s place on guitar. Almost immediately, the band began to extend its range throughout the Midwest.
Soon after joining, Sol. began writing material for a new EP. In the summer of 2017, Artwork began recording for another self produced release. In August of 2018, the group made their third release, the 5-song EP titled A Dying Breed and the Living Proof to much acclaim in their growing following.
Currently the group is writing and recording material for a fourth release with singles expecting to be cut as the album progresses. Furthermore they expect to be scheduling shows throughout the Midwest this summer and releasing videos in support of the last summer EP.

Indian Death Metal duo PLAGUE THROAT have released their first single off their upcoming EP- ‘Evolutionary Impasse‘. The track entitled ‘The Epoch of Catastrophe II‘ gives fans a glimpse of what the EP packs. Marked with chaotic blast beats, technical riffs often showing melodic passages and monstrous vocals pummeling its way across. This EP promises to divulge into the path of strong technicality yet showing heavy undertones of brutality unlike their previous releases.

March 28, 2018 – Fullerton, Calif. – The Melvins, who recently announced the April 20 release of Pinkus Abortion Technician (Ipecac Recordings), have debuted the Mackie Osborne directed video for “Embrace The Rub” – watch below.
“’Embrace The Rub’ is a Steven McDonald penned, punker tune throwback to his days as a young Hawthorne, CA punk hanging out with Black Flag,” explained Dale Crover. “For some reason, I decided that this tune really needed a piano part.”
The eight-song album is the band’s first to feature two bass tracks on every song, with the bass players being Steve McDonald (Redd Kross, OFF!) and Jeff Pinkus (Butthole Surfers). The Melvins previously shared the song “Stop Moving To Florida” from the forthcoming release:

“Death Metal needs blood, fire and carnage,” declares JUNGLE ROT throat and rhythm guitarist Dave Matrise. Today, JUNGLE ROT has released a brand new video for ‘The Unstoppable,’ from their long out-of-print album What Horrors Await. The fourteen track underground classic will debut on vinyl format for the first time worldwide on Record Store Day, April 21, 2018.

“Filming the point-of-view aspect from a tank made this video so much better,” states Matrise. “Instead of performing with instruments, we came up with the idea of each JUNGLE ROT soldier inside their own tank – mercilessly fighting and communicating to each other back and forth like killing machines. The lyrics are actually about a rolling death machine and she’s called ‘The Unstoppable,’ the bloodiest, most bad-ass beast you’ve ever seen! Doing the camo face paint is something that I wanted to do for a while and it really captured the whole feel we were going for. Prepare for a total alpha-strike, war-gore cloud of fear with a stop-at-nothing attitude in the thick of battle!”
On the re-issued album Matrise points out, “When we first released What Horrors Await in 2009, it was a one-time deal with a limited run. CD’s never made it to the US and were sold only in Europe where the previous label was based. What Horrors Await has always been JUNGLE ROT’s most sought-after album with fans often paying ridiculous amounts of money for it on eBay. It’s really been a rare and collectible album. We’re so glad it’s now out on our home label Victory Records, it will give everybody a chance to finally hear this monstrous release.”
JUNGLE ROT storm into Canada next week for their first shows of 2018, in anticipation of their tenth studio album (set for a spring release). “We feel lucky to be able to express ourselves through so many albums and I’m hoping our fans will never tire of meat and potatoes metal!” admits guitarist Geoff Bub, as bassist James Genenz adds, “We’ve got quite a fire under our collective asses and we’re psyched to get this album out! This is going to be a nasty record!”

ZEPHYRA – Signs To Inverse Records, New Music Video Streaming!

ZEPHYRA – Is a four piece Metal band from Borås, Sweden. With Åsa’s distinctive female vocals, Zephyra provides a wide sound in the Metal genre, with their roots in Thrash and Melodic Death Metal.
Since their official start back in 2011, the band has released a couple of EPs, played shows around Sweden, done live shows on the radio and frequently been aired in American and British radio shows. After signing a record deal in 2014, the debut album; ‘Mental Absolution’ was released world-wide on the Wormholedeath label. The album received positive reviews and was followed up by two official videos.
The second full length album; As The World Collapses, was recorded in the last quarter of 2015, and will be released on August 5, 2016 via Inverse Records. With the new album, Zephyra wants to show a bigger and more atmospheric sound than before, heavy and rhythmic, with keyboards and Åsas full ranged, diverse vocals.
