After twelve studio albums and several #1 chart positions in Finland, THE69EYES have no plans of slowing down. The band recently announced a massive European Fall tour from October through December 2022 and are also working on a new full-length studio release that will see the light of day in early 2023. In the meantime, the Helsinki Vampires allow no rest for the wicked and have unleashed a brand new single: “Call Me Snake.” It’s a dark summer hit, mixing an ‘80s gothic vibe with hard rocking guitars. Imagine The Stooges meeting early Ministry and ‘90s horror movies, and a track that shines through its simplicity yet still offers crazy twists around every corner.
“It’s 1997 in John Carpenter’s Escape From New York sci-fi classic and Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken saves the world,” comments vocalist Jyrki69. “These are the thematic elements for ‘Call Me Snake’ and the world will be saved again!”
Stream or download “Call Me Snake” at THIS LOCATION.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of her debut solo album, RushingThroughTheSky, gothic metal singer/songwriter LINDSAY SCHOOLCRAFT will be releasing a brand new, remastered edition of the album. The album will be available on vinyl for the first time in a limited edition blue variant and digitally streaming for the first time. Pre-orders are available HERE.
Lindsay comments:
“When I first recorded and released this EP I did not account for the fact that one day it was going to turn 10. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that a decade has come and gone. Luckily, my team and I caught before the big anniversary had a chance to pass us by.
For years the fans have been asking me to print this first release on vinyl, and here it finally is! Remastered just for the occasion. You can now experience the same songs from 10 years ago with a new sound and look.
Thanks to Phantasma Photography the Vinyl comes with new artwork too. Anyone who pre-orders the vinyl from my official shop gets it signed and personally addressed and will also receive a download of the 2022 version of “December Rain.”
I’m thrilled to celebrate my debut as a solo artist in such a special way a whole decade later.”

Releasing her own solo work since 2010 with the debut full length metal album Martyr, co-written by Grammy Award Winner Rocky Gray (Formerly EVANESCENCE), releasing in 2019, and her harp-driven, orchestral offering Worlds Away in 2020.

On July 13, 1985 – BLACKSABBATH reunited to perform at LiveAid at John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Just over 89,000 people were in attendance at JFK Stadium, that day. Live Aid was broadcasted live worldwide, on both radio and television.
Swedish hard rock act Hong Faux recently signed to Golden Robot Records and today they release their latest single ‘Drop the Reins’ which is available now on all digital platforms.
‘Drop the Reins’ is a heavy riff-based classic Hong Faux track written exclusively as a homage to Miles Davis and rock ‘n’ roll. Can you spot all the Miles references?
The band recently released a newly remastered version of their 2013 hit and fan favourite ‘Feign Death to Stay Alive!’
Ever since Hong Faux’s very first recorded notes that started their journey from blog, to magazines, to radio and MTV, people have tried to label the music and try to figure out the meaning of the band’s name. A London promoter called it “Old school super sludgy riffology with blues wailin’ vox”. Listening to the songs ‘Present Tense-Less’ and ‘Bad City Blues’ on their debut album, it would be foolish to argue against such a statement. On the other hand, you’ll find the sound that brought together four guys with very diverse musical tastes and backgrounds.
One of the things the band members all dig on the same level is the harder bands that came out of Seattle in the early nineties. So, all put together, with a few added ingredients, you get heavy stoner riff galore with strong melodic vocals that honour the harmonic complexity of the grunge era.
“Our ambition is to combine the guitar riffs from the 70’s, the grunge scenes more melodic arts from the 90’s with modern rock. We have always enjoyed pop choruses and were convinced that the harder rock crew would think we were wimpy. But we were wrong… I guess even the cool dudes like to be tickled on the thighs every once and a while.” – lead singer Nik Serén.
The four-piece has done shows all over Europe, sharing stages with such diverse bands as D-A-D, Clutch, Graveyard, Danko Jones, Coheed and Cambria and Babyshambles. 2022 will see the release of new material, developed sound and live shows. You can count on Hong Faux delivering both weight and melody, just like they always do.

North Carolina heavy rockers HOLYROLLER are now streaming the entirety of their new album SwimmingWitches. The album will be released on BlackDoombaRecords on July 8, 2022.
Brewing in the smoke-filled basements and dive bars of the North Carolina punk and metal scene, HOLYROLLER emerged in 2019 recently signing to Black Doomba Records for the release of their first full-length. Following their 2020 self-titled EP, the dynamic outfit have honed their live show with countless regional gigs in the south-eastern States of the USA.
Swimming Witches sees HOLYROLLER’s sound evolving, infusing influences including the likes of RED FANG, ELDER, and MASTODON with unrelenting energy. Explosive riffs see “Atheist Prayer” kick off the album with a fiery impact. It’s an edgy track unleashing a spellbinding spirit. The band showcase a darker side through shrieking vocals, marching drums and heavy tones in “Earthdweller”, along with powerful emotion and harmonies in “With Time”.
HOLYROLLER bring bewitching song writing to life through powerful performance and production. Manifesting a magnetic quality through memorable chorus hooks and monstrous guitars, each track on Swimming Witches unveils the charismatic nature of HOLYROLLER.
More information will be available soon.

“Kintsugi is about the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling cracks with precious metals. We too can transform all ‘cracks’ – which represent both our weaknesses and the difficult times we sometimes are forced to face – into something that makes us stronger and more unique, without necessarily having to show fake perfection to the rest of the world. We are all human beings and, as such, we are not infallible”. – Chiara Tricarico, frontwoman & lyricist
