Frankfurt’s THE GREEN RIVER BURIAL will release Blight on Vinyl 7-inch and digital formats August 1 on Bastardized Recordings. The two-song release showcases the German band’s movement into darker, groovier territory. The EP is the first chapter of a developing concept project that will be continued on the group’s upcoming full-length release.
Blight follows 2012 Bastardized Recordings release Separate & Coalesce. THE GREEN RIVER BURIAL sound mirrors and translates the ambition, passions and influences of the four members resulting in a unique, individualistic style. Growing from hardcore roots, the new EP demonstrates a shift toward more of a groove-oriented, modern metal style.
