Last Breath Of Rock ’N’ Roll is a retrospective to the moment when you heard Rock music for the first time.
Rimbacher is a band from central Finland that has built it’s foundations to traditional 80’s rock music. During spring 2022 the band has released couple of singles from their upcoming debut album. “Cocaine Eyes & Nicotine Stains” introduce the hybrid sound of Aussie Rock and 80’s Hair Rock, heavily riffing “Chasing Ghosts” and catchy rock anthem “Loving You (Is Loving A Broken)”.
”’Last Breath of Rock ‘N’ Roll’ represents the style of music that was my first personal touch to Rock music. This song is about the spontanious reaction that young guy felt when he listened to Rock music for the first time. So we made really rough and stripped song out of it – a tribute to the deepest essence of Rock. So raise your fist in the air and move your head!” singer Niko Rimbacher enthusiastically tells.
“Even as the track title refers to the ending of life the whole idea is actually the opposite. It’s about how to fill the huge gap that the current rock legends will leave after retiring and leaving the field open. And how to respect that heritage with total dedication” bass player and lyricist Reisca Morani continues.
The band also releases a music video that is built from the footage filmed on the Rimbacher shows.

Oregon’s RED FANG will begin their headlining tour of the U.S. (with three dates in Canada), on July 28th in Seattle Washington. Their fifteen city trek will conclude in Boise Idaho, on August 14th.

Initially formed in 2013, by Joe Randazza and Chris Halpin, EYE OF THE DESTOYER spent five years touring the US pre-pandemic, and their first full-length Baptized in Pain released in 2019. Now in 2022, reunited with original drummer Dave Mericle, “What Goes Around Comes Around” sees the band’s unyielding drive continue.
Musically the new release leans significantly into the New York Hardcore influence of BIOHARZARD and MADBALL while still showcasing the huge influence of SUFFOCATION in the quartet’s sound. EYE OF THE DESTOYER recreate the anticipation and thrill of the mosh pit through deliciously distorted guitars, punchy percussion and unrelenting energy.

Following their recent run supporting Carcass and Immolation, CREEPING DEATH will return to the stage this August on a North American headlining tour. The trek begins August 16th in El Paso, Texas, runs through September 18th in Austin, Texas, and includes performances at this year’s edition of Psycho Las Vegas and Full Terror Assault. Support will be provided by 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze as well as Ingrown, Spirit World, Vomit Forth, Age Of Apocalypse, and labelmates Plague Years on select dates.

CREEPING DEATH continues to tour in support of their most recent release The Edge Of Existence EP, unleashed last year via MNRK Heavy. With a nod to crossover masters Iron Age, a bit of the tech-death of Cryptopsy, a foundation of forebearers Death, CREEPING DEATH summons a vibrant sound somehow both familiar and fresh. The Edge Of Existence EP further demonstrates the power, fury, and outright revelry at the heart of the band’s identity.
Captured at Homewrecker Recording Studio in Tucson, Arizona and produced and mixed by Ryan Bram (Gatecreeper, Bitter Rivals, Sex Prisoner), the six-song EP introduces three new certified hellraisers — “Relics From The Past,” “Humanity Transcends,” and the title track — alongside remade and revitalized versions of the three songs from the band’s 2016 debut EP — “Sacrament Of Death,” “Doused In Flames,” and “Skinned Alive.”

CANNIBAL CORPSE continues to tour in support of their critically adored Violence Unimagined full-length, released last year via Metal Blade Records. Comprising eleven tracks, Violence Unimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues of the genre.
While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to CANNIBAL CORPSE is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining bassist Alex Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four CANNIBAL CORPSE albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process.

The self-titled CORPSEGRINDER release is a monstrous and impressive leap for this Death Metal legend. CORPSEGRINDER is jam packed with infectious riffs, entertaining lyrics and more badass grooves than I can count. This is way more like Obituary than Cannibal Corpse; yet CORPSEGRINDER stands alone on its musicianship and overall nod to straight-up Metal.
Killer Be Killed exemplify’s how Metal has evolved up to this point in time; a modern Metal sound that benefits from the brilliance of this supergroup. Max Cavalara shows off clean vocals with his growls, while each song on Reluctant Hero I find to be outstanding. Greg Puciato is a tremendous force on this album. An amazing Metal album which I already consider as a classic.
Burning Witches carry the torch for Traditional Heavy Metal while adding their own recipe of sound. These ladies bring a hefty dose of speed and melody to their songs, along with some growls and European Metal vibes. The Witch Of The North settles into this band’s growing and impressive discography perfectly. If you love DORO, you’ll love Burning Witches.
Blackened death entity VØLUS has released a new track off its forthcoming album, Thrown to the Abyss. The song, titled “The Breathing Reflection,” is streaming now at this location.
Thrown to the Abyss is a follow-up to Festering Anti–Cosmic Wound (2020) and Deadstar Illumination EP (2021). The album name is taken from the song “Thrown to the Abyss” VØLUS wrote back in 2018 on The Vermin Speak demo.

St. Louis Heavy Metal band Torchlight Parade are pleased to announce that they will release their upcoming album “Never Laugh When A Hearse Rolls By” on June 6 2022. The EP includes 4 new tracks of pure metal attitude! It starts with the massive intro song “Beaten Will Rise” that leads you to the energetic first single “Fight Until You Die”. The rounds harden with high pitch vocals and fastness of the second single “The Abandoned” and eventually the EP ends with the most epic and rugged song released to date, “End of Chapter”.
Guitarist/vocalist Valtteri Saharinen states:“This EP started to form in early 2021 as I came up with the main riff to a song called “The Abandoned”. The riff itself got me inspired for a short album that handles themes such as loneliness, meaning of communality, mental endurance and pushing forward no matter what happens in your life. After the kickstart I decided to make three diverse songs about those headlines but at the same time keep the package focused on my mission. The end result became more than I could imagine, and as a band we are more than excited to finally let you hear this aggressive but controlled mayhem of our best songs due to date! May 31, 2022, LOS ANGELES – The Melvins, who set sail for “The Electric Roach Tour” on June 14, have announced the next wave of dates in what’s proving to be a gargantuan slate of 2022 shows, with “The Five Legged Tour” offering U.S. fans an additional 43 opportunities to take in one of the seminal band’s live performances.
Buzz Osborne says: “Nationwide once again! Nothing like touring the USA in the fall. Everyone’s a winner!”
Not to be confused with the band’s recent acoustic collection of a similar name (Five Legged Dog), the electrified trek kicks off Sept. 5 in San Francisco and wraps up with a special outing at The Halloween Freakout, a one-off, Los Angeles based festival (more details to be announced soon). Tickets for the seven-plus week tour are on-sale this Friday at 10 am local time. We Are The Asteroid open on all dates.
The Melvins released two albums in 2021: Working With God, a newly recorded album featuring the band’s 1983 iteration (Osborne, Dale Crover and original drummer Mike Dillard), as well as the a 36-song acoustic collection, Five Legged Dog, which features a career-spanning collection of songs, from 1987’s Gluey Porch Treatments to 2017’s A Walk With Love & Death.
