GOATWHORE – New Orleans’ Favorite Metal Legion Announces US Headlining Dates + Band To Support Samhain On Select Shows

New Orleans’ favorite metal legion, GOATWHORE, will embark upon another bout of live headlining invasions next month. Set to launch in Houston on September 15th, the band will trounce fourteen cities including five shows supporting Death Rock/Horror Punk legends, Samhain!

In November, GOATWHORE will bring their sadistic anthems overseas for a European incursion with headliners Dying Fetus. The extended trek embarks on November 8th in Liege, Belgium, and will march through nearly four dozen metropolises, coming to a close on December 20th in Leer, Germany.

GOATWHORE is currently touring in support of their mammoth Constricting Rage Of The Merciless full-length unleashed to the masses in July via Metal Blade Records. Crowned “the new high water mark of the group’s work thus far,” by Metal Injection, Constricting Rage Of The Merciless debuted at #81 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, toppling their last entry position of #171 with Blood For The Master. The infernal masterwork also ranked in at #21 on Billboard’s Rock chart, #7 on the Hard Rock chart and #13 on the Independent chart. DISMEMBERMENT – To Reissue EP’s On Single Disc

Ohio’s DISMEMBERMENT are pleased to announce that they will be releasing a reissue of their EP’s The Condemned and Denied Salvation on a single compact disc.The reissue is slated to arrive this winter via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions.

Guitarist Jacob Shively had the following to say about the reissue:

“We get asked a lot when ‘The Condemned’ and ‘Denied Salvation’ will be available on CD again. Well the time is finally here as HPGD Productions will be releasing both long out of print EPs compiled onto 1 disc with new artwork and packaging. Look for these this winter.”

Indiana Stoner/Sludge Rockers YELLOWTOOTH Entering Studio To Record Sophomore Album

Michigan City, Indiana’s own Sludge/Stoner band YELLOWTOOTH is preparing to hit the studio in September to record Crushed By The Wheels of Progress, the follow-up to the band’s 2012 debut album Disgust.

The album will be released through Orchestrated Misery Recordings. The band has eight songs ready to be sent into the audio stratosphere. Song titles include “Before I Return to Dust,” “The Spiral Stairs,” “Meet Mr. Mossberg,” “Climbing the Mountain,” “Manifesto,” and “Season’s End.”

Guitarist/vocalist Henry McGinnis commented on the new material:

“We haven’t really changed our writing style since the debut came out, but refined it a bit to suit our needs. Having been together since 2008 it’s just a natural progression of who we are. The songs are still very heavy, and some parts still have the southern flair we have grown to enjoy since the beginning.”

YELLOWTOOTH is also gearing up for several shows this fall in the Chicagoland area with label-mates PSYCHOMANCER.

SEMPITERNAL DUSK – Debut Full-length Coming 9/30 On Dark Descent Records

On September 30, Portland Death Metal act SEMPITERNAL DUSK will release their highly anticipated full-length on Dark Descent Records.

After a vicious demo assault in 2012, the band is set to make their presence known across the underground with this self-titled,five track, forty-seven minute affair. If you like doom in your Death Metal, SEMPITERNAL DUSK will be most pleasing to your taste.

SEMPITERNAL DUSK emerged after the demise of WARWOLVES in 2009, with J.Huss switching from bass to guitar and T. Call again behind the kit. The duo began writing, focusing on abyssal atmosphere and primal instincts to guide their doomed Death Metal. In 2011 they recorded a two-song demo with J.Huss recording all guitars and bass and T. Call on drums and vocals. Their demo spread and caught the attention of Dark Descent, who inked a deal with the band for release of a full-length.

The band also contributed a one-minute track, “Beneath the Emblems of Death” to the MONOMANIAC VOL. 1 7 released by Blastbeat Mailmurder from Greece. This would be the last song recorded as a duo. The decision was then made to fill out the lineup and become a live band. T. Gann of SHROUD OF THE HERETIC joined on bass and A. Wheeler of WEREGOAT/RITUAL NECROMANCY joined on second guitar.

The first live ritual occurred in February of 2013 along with VASSAFOR and KNELT ROTE. In August 2013 they entered Red Lantern Studios in Portland, OR to record their debut full length. SEMPITERNAL DUSK, now a three-piece, will be performing a few select live rituals this fall in support of their album release, then entering the studio in late September to begin recording their side of an upcoming split with Seattle’s OLD SKIN.

“Hello brothers and sisters,

I’m writing to let you know that I’m healing very well. I played guitar a few weeks ago for the first time, and it immediately felt like the surgery worked. Needless to say, I was very relieved. Through many months of the Worldwide Plagues Tour I was suffering from a loss of coordination in my hands, numbness, and intense levels of pain. It was a battle every night onstage and it reached a critical point where the cervical fusion had to happen, sooner rather than later. I am happy to report that so far things are going very well in my recovery, and I expect it to stay on this path. We are in the planning stages of our next US tour, and that will very likely take place this winter. So, before you know it we’ll be back on the warpath, and before long, songwriting will commence, and another chapter of Iced Earth history will be in the making. There will be lots of updates in the coming months. We are forging the attack as I am recovering from surgery. The boys and I are ready to get back out there ASAP to lay down the metal!

SUBSERVIENCE – Reveal New Record Details

WHITECHAPEL – Announces Headlining Tour With Upon A Burning Body And Glass Cloud

Top 10 Billboard charting Metal legion, WHITECHAPEL, will be returning to the road this Fall! In their interview with Phil Bozeman, Alternative Press declares, “WHITECHAPEL put in a lot of blood and sweat to maintain their furious reputation,” and that work will continue on October 10th when their next North American headlining tour commences. The trek features support from Upon A Burning Body and Glass Cloud and includes a stop at Slipknot’s KNOTFEST 2014 on October 26th in San Bernardino, CA. Tickets for WHITECHAPEL’s headlining incursion will be on sale on Saturday, August 23rd at 10am local time for each show.

WHITECHAPEL will be touring in support of their Our Endless War full-length issued in April via Metal Blade Records. Their most streamlined, atmospheric, and emotionally powerful release to date, the album debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, #2 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart, #1 on the Billboard Hard Music Albums Chart (Current) and #2 on the Billboard Rock Albums Chart.

Saxon Davids Added As Touring Guitarist

KAINE are excited to announce that they have been added as last-minute support to Mordred’s tour of Britain/Ireland. The band was offered the slot after original openers Furyon had to cancel.

KAINE will be having a change of personnel for the tour as guitarist Anthony Murch will not be able to take up his duties due to work commitments. Anthony will however be playing the London date with the band. Saxon Davids (Entropy) will be playing lead guitar for the band on the tour. Davids had two days and one rehearsal to get ready for this tour which was only offered to the band and confirmed on Monday.

Oderus is missing. Once the Scumdogs in GWAR finally notice this (it takes them a while to notice stuff) they will set off on a journey to find their departed brother using every resource available – including recruiting an ancient Scumdog warrior. GWAR will need the help from everyone, even the lowliest Bohab, as their enemies are plotting to take advantage of the hole in GWAR’s ranks.

BalSac The Jaws of Death on The “GWAR Eternal Tour 2014” and what to expect:

“Dark clouds of war and ill omen have gathered around GWAR. In our hour of greatest peril, Oderus has left us and our enemies stand poised, ready to strike while they sense weakness. But we shall no longer cower in our Antarctic stronghold, awaiting Destiny’s final blow. This Fall GWAR sets out on the most trying quest of our career. We shall scour our leader’s favorite stomping ground, North America, leaving no city unsearched, no venue unraised, and no sheep unmolested. GWAR will venture to the depths of Hell or to the very end of Time itself, and though I fear what we may encounter out there, I know that we can never return home until we have the answer we seek: ‘Where is Oderus Urungus?’”

GWAR fans have been mourning the loss of Dave Brockie, GWAR’s founder and lead singer, since March. The “GWAR Eternal Tour 2014” gives them an opportunity to gather and share a bunch of feels as a community while experiencing the sickest band in this or any other world.

Jamison Land, Beefcake the Mighty’s personal slave and bass tech:

“Dave was our friend and anchor for as far back as anyone can remember. He’s held us together, and sometimes he drove us apart. He is our brother and we love him. Unlike a lot of prominent musicians, he was friends with all of the fans. He made GWAR fans feel special on a personal level. The fans love Dave as much as we do and ‘The GWAR Eternal Tour 2014’ is our way of getting together and sharing that love.”

The first leg of the tour will include direct support from Decapitated; the second leg will have direct support from Corrosion of Conformity. American Sharks will open all shows. HELLOWEEN – FESTIVAL SUMMER 2014 COMPLETED, STUDIO SESSION BEGINS!

After successfully concluding their world-tour in support of the 2013 output Straight Out Of Hell, the party has been concluded upon the festival summer.

Clearly no time to sit back and relax, as the pumpkin heads will be heading right for their very own MiSueno Studios, located on the isle of Tenerife to start working on the successor of Straight Out Of Hell in October. Joining the band to handle production duties will be long-term companion Charlie Bauerfeind. The new album which is set for a release in May 2015 will be the first since HELLOWEEN have inked a new deal with old label home Nuclear Blast, where they released two albums – The Dark Ride (2000) and Rabbit Don’t Come Easy (2003), both of which have been re-issued with extended bonus material in 2013.

Last but not least, HELLOWEEN would like to send out a big “Thank You” to all the Helloween Maniacs worldwide with some live impressions of the title track of the charting success Straight Out Of Hell turned out to be, landing on a sensational #4, their highest German chart entry to date, holding this position for five long weeks. Additionally they made another five Top ten entries in Europe and also cracked the US Billboard Charts.
