MUTUAL HOSTILITY will be releasing their new album, “Inhuman Anguish”, on June 28th 2023 via Lethal Scissor Records, making it the band’s debut to the label. Toilet Ov Hell premiered the first single “Faces in the Walls” at THIS LOCATION.
Following the good feedback received for the “Sacred Propaganda” EP, MUTUAL HOSTILITY waste no time continuing their attack and return with their first full-length. The band have thankfully made no great changes to their juggernaut sound. Dynamic, utterly crushing, immediately memorable, the band’s death metal stick to its guns without de-escalating the branded frenetic motion and interminable aggression.
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Suffocation, Deicide and Gorguts, MUTUAL HOSTILITY create a sound distinctly modern but with an appreciation for the old school death metal legends, all executed with near surgical meticulousness.

MUTUAL HOSTILITY is a death metal band formed in January of 2020 in Northeast Ohio, USA. Merging many metal genres into the fold, Adam Rogers (vocals), Dan Gates (guitars & bass) and Eric Frabotta (drums) offer a blend of hostility and intensity. Most of 2020 was spent writing and recording at each others home during the pandemic shutdown. Soon after the band released a lyric video for the song “Pyramid of Hate” which gained some momentum and eventually led up to the EP titled “Sacred Propaganda” being released in November 2020 on the Cult of Parthenope record label. In 2022 nine new tracks were written and recorded for the first full-length album.
Ohio thrashers WAR CURSE have released their song “Shadow Gods” exclusively on Bandcamp. The song has been released in order to raise funds for victims of the East Palestine Ohio train derailment.
Guitarist Justin Roth comments:
“We wrote a ton of material for our upcoming album, a lot of which ended up on the cutting room floor. Shadow Gods is a fun, ripping thrasher that Blaine and I constructed in around 20 minutes, start to finish. We knew it didn’t match the vibe of the album but recorded it anyway, just for fun. It might have never seen the light of day, but the tragedy in East Palestine, Ohio, our home state, really struck a nerve. The lyrics to Shadow Gods felt like they were written about this very situation. Faceless organizations ‘gambling with consequence.’ ‘Failing comes at your expense.’ People are suffering right now, months later, because a soulless corporation prioritized appeasing stockholders over taking responsibility. Absolute scumbags.
We’re a small band from Ohio, but we’re here to do our part. All proceeds from Shadow Gods purchased through Bandcamp will be donated to a local 501c3 benefiting the impacted citizens of East Palestine, OH. “
Ohio’s DISMEMBERMENT are pleased to announce that they will be releasing a reissue of their EP’s The Condemned and Denied Salvation on a single compact disc.The reissue is slated to arrive this winter via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions.
Guitarist Jacob Shively had the following to say about the reissue:
“We get asked a lot when ‘The Condemned’ and ‘Denied Salvation’ will be available on CD again. Well the time is finally here as HPGD Productions will be releasing both long out of print EPs compiled onto 1 disc with new artwork and packaging. Look for these this winter.”
In further news, the band have also announced a sale on all merchandise purchased directly through the band. All merchandise currently available will be discounted until Sept 2nd 2014. This includes purchase of the band’s popular “Type O Negative” style shirt.
Ohio’s Dismemberment are happy to announce that they will be hitting the road in September for a whirlwind three-day mini-tour.

The band originally began in 2009 in Missouri under the name The Harrowing. Formed by Colton Deem and brothers Cody and Mitch Pegg, they then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and changed their name to Gomorrah in 2013.
After several refinements to their sound, the band have now unleashed their debut “To the Depths”. Since releasing the EP, the band has increased momentum by sharing the stage with metal legends such as Destruction, Abigail Williams, Macabre and Krisiun. After a two-year hiatus, Ohio Technical Grinding Death Metal peddlers, LOCUSTA, will be embarking on a live takeover through the East Coast this Spring! Slated to commence on May 13th in Raleigh, North Caroline, LOCUSTA will rape faces through Columbia, Knoxville, Columbus, Washington DC, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Providence, Portland, Philadelphia, Harrisonburg and Richmond with additional incursions to be announced in the coming weeks. The band will be joined by drummer Alex Tomlin (Battlemaster, Arsis, Withered et al).
LOCUSTA is currently putting the finishing touches on their as-yet-untitled full-length tentatively scheduled to drop later this year. In the meantime, ravaging preview track, “Contaminant Remains,” will appear on the band’s forthcoming, four-track Dendromorphosis EP which also includes a molten rendition of Death’s “See Through Dreams,” and artwork by renowned designer Lucas Ruggieri (BlackTusk, Kylesa, Ghoul, cough et al). Dendromorphosis will be available for purchase at all upcoming tour dates.
Comments the band of their forthcoming live offensive: “We’re looking forward to hitting the road again after such an agonizingly long break from touring and to what we’re anticipating will be some of the best shows we’ve ever played, both in respect to the caliber of the bands we’re billed with and the fact that our live sets sound tighter than they ever have before. Our set lists will mostly contain songs from the new album, including the first track we’ve ever written that extends past the nine-minute mark, which is easily the darkest and most epic piece of music we’ve written so far. There is more grinding technicality than before, but the songs are also much more mature from a songwriting point of view than what you hear on our first album. We’re excited to be sharing this time in the band with all of our new and old friends on the road, but…no survivors.”
Formed in the fall of 2006, LOCUSTA take their name from a female chemist from Ancient Rome regarded as the first documented serial killer. LOCUSTA released their debut full-length upon an unsuspecting underground in 2010 which is available for download/purchase via their official bandcamp page HERE.

INFALLING – From Cleveland, Ohio, cometh INFALLING. This (multi-genre influenced) trio of Metal musicians are worth every second of your time; especially if you’re into Metal that will assault your ears while you beg for more! Their EP, Path Of Desolation, was released back in September of 2012 and carries a ton of shelf life; INFALLING have created a potent and quality crop of 5 songs. This is an EP I won’t be putting away anytime soon!
INFALLING are three Metal musicians that are gonna go places, I feel and hear it. Their Hardcore meets Metal assault is sandwiched between album instrumental opener Genesisand album instrumental closer Revelations. Both the intro and exit on Path Of Desolation truly defines this band’s Progressive and Classic Rock influences quite soundly.
As for the Hardcore Metal that’s smack-dab-in-the-middle of this astoundingly produced EP: whoop-ass to the maximum potential! Tony Balante is as fierce as a caged rattlesnake on vocals! Tony comes across as very comfortable in his surroundings; there’s nothing that sounds forced or ill contrived, a very confident vocalist is he.
What a Metal band across the Metal board. Seriously. When INFALLING came across my Metal path over this New Years holiday, I was completely impressed; from their totality of destructive Hardcore style of Metal sound to their top-tier quality of songs I inhaled from Path Of Desolation. Get into INFALLING now, before they are selling out the clubs consistently as a headliner. Metal be thy name.
