Souls of Diotima are officially back, signaling the start of a mysterious and bold new chapter. The band is thrilled to announce the release of their brand-new single, “Run Away,” arriving on Friday, June 5th. The single serves as the first glimpse into “Arcade,” the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, set for worldwide release on October 2nd, 2026, via Diotima Records.
As previously hinted by the band, “Arcade” marks the beginning of a “new era.” Souls of Diotima have undergone a significant directional change, a bold evolution that the members have chosen to keep under wraps. The true nature of this sonic transformation will remain a secret until the first single officially drops.
To capture this new vision, the band headed to Sweden to record at the legendary Studio Bohus in Kungälv. The album was fully produced by Oscar Nilsson, Thomas “Plec” Johansson, and Mikko Viitala.
The visual identity of “Arcade” is just as striking, featuring cover art by Rhett Padersoo, which is being unveiled today alongside the official tracklist.
“Arcade” Track-list:
1. Warning! 2. Revenge 3. Deadline 4. Black Rose 5. Run Away 6. Time is a Flame 7. A Child 8. Senza Rancore 9. Head Up, Guard Up 10. Cage 11. Nocturnal Vibe
Washington, D.C. – Metalcore veterans, Age of Ruin, have released new single, “Falling.” The song is the first fresh blood spilled by Age of Ruin since last year’s seminal, full-length album, Nothingman (a title that perfectly encapsulates both the crushing bleakness of the human spirit and the exact Kelley Blue Book value of their touring vessel, the Nothingvan).
Manifesting without warning like a collective auditory hallucination, this new track sees the band violently regressing to their roots. It delivers the kind of punishing, primitive riffage that will make anyone raised on Roots-era Sepultura or Kingdom of Lost Souls-era Damnation A.D. want to immediately start throwing elbows in a pottery store.
But it’s not just an exercise in neck-snapping brutality. As the despair boils over, the mood shifts from pitch-black bleakness to something suspiciously resembling optimism. When frontman Ben’s haunting vocals bellow, “the lines begin to blur around me,” which in most other contexts would be a terrifying neurological symptom. It actually serves as a rare glimmer of hope. Just then, the mood shifts, like a thundering tempest leaving all of the elements of rebirth in it’s wake. It’s sonic proof that even after all this time, a little bit of light is finally cracking through the Age of Ruin.

IT’S ALL AROUND US NOW…
Boundaries return with “Skies cast amber black” (https://bndrs.lnk.to/allaroundusnow), their first new music since 2024’s Death Is Little More, and a track that channels the current cultural climate into a crushing, cinematic storm.
“I have a deep desire in the pit of my making to surround and suffocate the growing plague of people’s self-interest,” vocalist Matthew McDougal says of the Drew Fulk produced track. “Given the chance, I’d remove every ego from the music landscape and burn it off for fuel to power blood hungry behemoths whose only goal is to crush and disable. This song is my plea to cleanse a community I adore of people who see it only as an opportunity or a stepping stone.”
Boundaries will spend much of 2026 on the road, joining The Amity Affliction and August Burns Red for a North American tour from April 10 to May 17, followed by a run of major European festivals including Rock Im Park, Rock Am Ring, Download, and Jera on Air. The band is also confirmed for spots at Warped Tour and Louder Than Life.

The Hartford-based band have released three full-length albums: Death Is Little More (2024), Burying Brightness (2022) and Your RecedingWarmth (2020).
Revolver described their music as “a fascinating meld of crushing sounds,” New Noise said Boundaries are the “new standard-bearer” of metalcore going on to say that it’s rare for a band to have songs that “have a vibrancy and violence that is wonderfully contrasted with such gothic melody,” and Boolin Tunes said they are “a beacon for hardcore bands to look towards.”
Nashville’s revered metalcore favorites CHAMBER are mounting their anticipated return with the announcement of the band’s 3rd album, this is goodbye…, to be released on March 27th via Pure Noise Records.
Commenting on the album, the band says:
“this is goodbye… is Chamber at our most open and instinctive. A lot of this record was written on the spot in Randy’s studio, with no time to overthink what we were playing. When I think back on putting this record together, I just remember the laughs we had in the studio and how naturally these songs came to be. To be real, we just had a ton of fun and tried to write parts that would get each other stoked.“
CHAMBER’s follow up to 2023’s breakthrough record, A Love To Kill For, features 12 unrelenting tracks of meticulously crafted, mind-melting metal and hardcore. Today, fans get a taste of what’s to come with the brand new song, “violins,” streaming everywhere and accompanied by a gripping music video created by Nick Chance.
Vocalist/guitarist Gabe Manuel says of the intense new single:
“We almost always write pieces of songs and put them together in the studio, but ‘Violins’ was one of a few songs on this record that we finished writing pretty far in advance. I was listening heavy to ‘De-Loused’/’Frances the Mute’ era The Mars Volta when we were writing this, and the rhythm of the chorus is definitely influenced by that stuff + anime theme song vibes. We all have eclectic music tastes outside of hardcore/metal, and this song fuses all those influences together in a way that I really love.“
Fans can pre-order the album now and catch CHAMBER live on their tour with MALEVOLENCE and GUILT TRIP this spring. Purchase tickets here: https://chamber615.com/

AboutCHAMBER:
Nothing seems easy anymore, and that sense of constant struggle permeates this is goodbye…, the third full-length album from Nashville’s Chamber. In a modern world defined by exhaustion, uncertainty, and the relentless grind of simply existing, being in a band can feel heavier than ever – and Chamber confront that reality head-on.
Following 2020’s Cost Of Sacrifice and 2023’s A Love To Kill For, the five-piece channel the emotional and physical toll of chasing creativity through touring, online noise, and self-doubt into twelve tracks that wrestle with whether the fight is worth it. The album’s title, drawn from the closing track “in revolving doors,” looms over the record, but rather than signaling an ending, it captures a moment of reckoning and resolve.
That tension fuels one of the most intense and cathartic records of the band’s career. Framed by stark audio clips and driven by their ferocious brand of “psychotic mosh metal,” this is goodbye… is blistering, chaotic, and deeply personal – touching on grief, existential dread, and the bonds that keep the band moving forward.
Produced by longtime collaborator Randy LeBoeuf, the album embraces dissonance, strange rhythms, and unrelenting heaviness without compromise. Nearly a decade into their journey, Chamber have made the record they’ve always been building toward: savage, challenging, and vital. Despite its title, this is goodbye… feels less like an ending than a definitive statement – and the beginning of something new.

FUELED BY FEAR, the Zürich-based metalcore outfit, continue their momentum with “Godmade“, the third single from their upcoming EP Ordinary Evil (out January 30, 2026).
The band has announced an ambitious visual component to the campaign: three music videos will accompany the EP, with “Godmade” set to receive cinematic treatment in March 2026. “Godmade” drops on November 28th, 2025 on all streaming platforms.
The complete Ordinary Evil EP comes out on January 30th, 2026. With their new EP, Fueled By Fear deliver their most mature and uncompromising work to date. The five tracks move between dark groove steamrollers and melodically dense anthems – harder, more powerful and more forceful than all previous productions.
The band has sharpened their sound: hardness meets groove, tempo meets aggression, while melodic passages merge with modern pressure. The result is songs with enormous chorus quality and real sing along potential – dark, but irresistibly catchy.
BAND BIO: FUELED BY FEAR from Zurich have been combining the intensity of metalcore with the melodic depth of melodic death metal since 2011. The band manages to merge melodic passages with grooving rhythms into a sound that can both strike brutally and touch emotionally.
Support performances for In Flames, Sepultura and even Pantera underscore their international relevance. Their debut Two By Eight reached #5 on the Swedish rock charts and #22 in Switzerland. Fueled By Fear stands for authentic metal without filters!

Massachusetts-based hardcore label 1126 Records is pleased to welcome Alabama’s WIELDED STEEL to their crushing roster!
WIELDED STEEL is a ferocious Alabama metalcore outfit forged in blood, sweat, and feedback. Born from the sweltering heat and grit of the deep South, the band channels raw violence through downtuned riffs, bone-breaking breakdowns, and war cry vocals. Their sound is a brutal hybrid of metalcore chaos and old-school death metal precision, a hardcore collision influenced by Terror’s unrelenting aggression, Dehumanized’s crushing technicality, and the merciless ferocity of Dying Fetus.
In celebration of their signing, today WIELDED STEEL drops a video for the new track “Your Words Mean Nothing,” showcasing the DIY Alabama hardcore scene.
Comments vocalist Jesse Clark, “‘Your Words Mean Nothing’ is a song about the empty promises of prosperity that are slung around by the ruling class, to try and keep poor people docile and accepting. How they attempt to use identity politics to pit people against each other and keep them distracted and angry. It’s also about how those politicians, and billionaire CEOs, that engineer and profit off of the suffering of the working class are just people. People that can be made to face consequences. There are more of us than there are of them.”

Metalcore Artist Returns with a Ferocious Sequel to Her Sonic Examination of Ego and Illusion
Durham, NC – Megg Jacobs dives even deeper into the brutal emotional terrain first explored in her previous single “ego” with the release of its companion track, “DEATH,” a volatile meditation on all-or-nothing thinking, illusion, and the chaos that follows the rejection of nuance. The new single is now available to stream on all platforms worldwide, with a striking visual set to drop via YouTube on August 15th, edited by Grammy and MTV VMA-nominated video editor Mark Mayr (Peaches, Justin Bieber).
“‘DEATH’ is about the fallout of denying that middle space,” Megg Jacobs shares. “It’s the exhaustion that comes from clinging to black-and-white thinking while everything around you demands complexity.” With her signature fusion of thunderous drums, guttural vocals, and emotionally layered lyrics, Jacobs crafts a deep atmosphere that is as aggressive as it is vulnerable.
She describes the track as being stuck in a loop, between glitter in the dirt and dirt in the glitter. One is rot masked by beauty, the other corruption masked by sparkle. “Neither is honest,” she explains. “Both are masks we wear to avoid nuance: the real discomfort of being human.” The new single builds on the themes of ego death and transformation first introduced in “ego,” capturing the psychological wear-and-tear that results from resisting the complicated truths of being alive.
The cinematic visual showcases the return of the symbolic worms of her branding, representing evolution through decay. They’re there to consume what no longer serves. Not the body, but the facade. The duality of both grotesque and necessary, a reminder that change requires rot, and that ego death doesn’t end in light, but in surrender. Produced by Spicehouse out of Sanford, NC, and presented with fierce emotional clarity, “DEATH” is a bold continuation of Jacobs’s visceral storytelling that is unflinching, dynamic, and uniquely human.
Megg Jacobs is a rising force in metalcore whose sound blends fierce vocal ranges with haunting theatricality. Raised in rural Maine, surrounded by “misty forests, long winters, and the eerie kind of silence that makes you creative… or a little crazy,” Jacobs’s imagination was shaped by her environment, something she now weaves into every track. Though classically trained, it wasn’t until she embraced a heavier vocal technique in 2022 that her distinct, razor-sharp sound truly emerged.
Now based in North Carolina, she channels polarity and contrast, both thematically and sonically, into music that explores illusion, identity, and inner reckoning. Her recent single “ego,” praised by Metal Sucks, ReGen Magazine, and Metal Odyssey, introduced her as a bold new voice in the genre, solidifying her place as one to watch.
Metalcore stalwarts, Age of Ruin, have released “The Ghosts We Carry,” the second single from forthcoming album, Nothingman, on all digital platforms and as an official music video! The track embodies classic Age of Ruin metalcore riffing with a brutally heavy breakdown chorus sing-along. A b-side, non-album track, “Reflections,” accompanies the release of the new single.

Nothingman, Age of Ruin’s forthcoming album, is a collection of 10 songs that cuts a path to the heart with harmony and angst that others would be naïve not to mimic. The band sacrificed blood and sweat for two years to expel Nothingman. Age of Ruin began the recording process in October of 2023, and after nine months of tracking on location in Richmond, VA, at the Bakery Studio, in Washington, DC, at Ivakota Studio, and at the Riff Dojo in Takoma Park, MD, (the record was produced by Mike Schleibaum of Darkest Hour), Nothingman was complete. This is the biggest, most richly woven tapestry from the band yet, and the time to unleash it is near.

In 2023 and 2024, Age of Ruindid some precursory promotion of Nothingman’s material, traveling up and down the east coast, dousing nonbelievers with their fire, with such acts as Black Flag, Madball, Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, and Anvil. Yes, that Anvil.
Ripping guitars, unforgivably brutal drums, bass sounds that have shaken the underworld, and screeching vocals are just the beginning of this incarnation of a true headbanger’s incantation. What we saw unearthed back in 1998 has now grown. The road worn warriors of the AoRmy have forced enough breakdowns to overwhelm any AAA mechanic, with miles on the highway ahead.
Their punk and metal roots hold firm, and their thrash tendencies are on full display as this towering presence of a band branches out over new tonal terrain and soundscape; reminding all who fall under its shadow, that the light shining through is a new dawn in the Age of Ruin. Nothingman will be celebrated in all formats and on all streaming platforms on October 17.

San Jose metalcore/hardcore band MUGSHOT has released the 2nd single, ‘Next To Your Idols,’ from their highly anticipated sophomore album, All The Devils Are Here, that’s out June 20th via Pure Noise Records.
‘“Next To Your Idols’ is a critique on celebrity culture and the adornment of those who use their platform to mistreat or take advantage of others. It’s an indictment on Hollywood and the manipulation that surrounds it and similar circles.“
Produced by Randy Leboeuf (Kublai Kahn, The Acacia Strain, Gideon, Bad Omens), MUGSHOT’s massive 12 track record, All The Devils Are Here, marks a new beginning for the incendiary band, following their 2023 EP, Cold Will, and nearly a decade after their riveting full-length Dull Boy.
With a lineup consisting of Ringo Waterman (vocals), Michael Demko (guitar), Connor Haines (drums) and Ciro Abraham (bass), MUGSHOT have found a brutal groove, melding influences of metal and hardcore in a violent storm of unrelenting chaos. Featuring the previously released singles ‘Vale of Tears,’ ‘Die In Fear‘ and ‘Afore A Waking Nightmare,’ their long anticipated album ushers in a thrilling new wave of rage for metalcore fans.
Commenting on the record, the band states:
“This album is the most collaborative we have ever been as a band, every person had a major hand in creating whether that be musically, lyrically or both. It’s also the first album we haven’t self produced and having Randy Leboeuf on board was so invaluable, he really felt like a 5th member. Lyrically this is the most personal and pissed off we have ever been and we think everyone will be able to connect with many tracks on this record.“

Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the signing of GRADIENCE, the uncompromising Danish metal act forging a bold new path with their explosive fusion of black metal, deathcore, metalcore, and trap rap.
With their critically acclaimed debut EP Ironsight, produced by Chris Kreutzfeldt (Cabal, MØL), GRADIENCE has already turned heads for their fearless genre experimentation and raw, personal storytelling tackling themes of alienation and the inner turmoil that comes from being seen as an outsider.
Just ahead of today’s announcement, the band independently released their latest single “Lucid.” A collaborative effort with Danish progressive metalcore powerhouse Ghost Iris, “Lucid expands GRADIENCE’s sound with towering vocals, pummeling grooves, and a heightened sense of emotional urgency.
“We’re beyond excited to welcome GRADIENCE to the Metal Blade family,” says EU label manager Markus “Bart” Grasseck. “Their innovation, intensity, and fearless creativity embody everything we stand for. The future of heavy music runs through bands like this.”
The band’s debut EP Ironsight, praised by Metal Hammer UK as, “a tease of GRADIENCE’s grizzly potential” — was nominated for “EP Of The Year” at the 2024 Danish Heavy Awards, with GRADIENCE also recognized as a nominee for the “Hope Of The Year” award. Earlier this year, the band performed at the exclusive When Copenhell Freezes Over showcase hosted by Copenhell at the legendary VEGA venue in Copenhagen.
Metal Hammer UK also hailed their debut single “This Abyss” as, “Astounding… GRADIENCE are exactly that, the Danish duo mixing hip hop and explosive black metal with both elements delivered to the highest quality.”
Following impactful collaborations with Hexis (“Crushed By The Tide”) and UK’s Love Is Noise (“Save Me”), GRADIENCE continues to break boundaries with each release. Now, under the wing of Metal Blade Records, their next chapter is set to be their most ferocious yet.
Metalcore stalwarts, Age of Ruin, are primed and ready to release new album, Nothingman, on October 17! But first… a new single (and b-side)! “Heavy is the Crown” is the first single from the forthcoming album.
As an added bonus, the band has released a “b-side” (or non-album track) to coinicide with the new single. Have yourself a listen to “Holding on” via Spotify and Apple Music, and check out the lyric video.

Set to perform at this year’s Hyperspace Metal Festival in Vancouver, BC on April 10th, power prog storytellers RED CAIN are unveiling their new single “FWAB” (Fire Water, Air, Blood). With its heavy balalaika breakdown, downtuned heavy riffs, and soaring harmonized choruses among atmospheric industrial synth backing, “FWAB” hits hard and never lets go – a primeval ritual chant in front of cold stone, on a frozen steppe, among howling winds.
The band explains the story of the track in further detail:
“In the frozen Eastern European steppes, there stood a fell ancient god. Every ill word fed him, and every ill deed made him more potent. For millennia, he grew strong through kingship over mortal ill will, suffering, and pride, until his nourishment took a new form, unable to feed or strengthen. Without nourishment, the god was powerless, and without power, he slept. After millennia, fed full by ill words and ill deeds, searching for an awakening, the god demands the symbols of his power: Fire, Water, Air, Blood. Join the ritual sacrament of Chernobog. With this new release, the Slavic pagan ritual to call forth the “Black God” takes flight, asking the listener what they would be willing to change their fate.”
Red Cain will be performing on night one of this year’s Hyperspace Metal Festival in Vancouver, BC, on April 10th at The Cobalt alongside Glyph, Tower Hill, Serpent Rider, and Crüzer. Full details on the Hyperspace Metal Festival being held from April 10th to 12th can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/HyperspaceMetalFestival
Red Cain, from Calgary, Canada, is a modern progressive metal project with Eastern European roots. They have been making waves since their first release in 2016, with award-winning music videos and concept albums Kindred: Act I, Kindred: Act II, and NÄE’BLISS. The albums contained a ton of genre inspirations, from gothic rock to ambient electronica, power, black, and death metal, and were universally lauded for their inventiveness, variety, and strong conceptual content. They continue this momentum with forthcoming releases.

About BLEEDING THROUGH:
Destined for great achievement ever since their formation in 1999, Bleeding Through’s career has been a lengthy and star-studded one, dedicated to delivering a devastating, yet melodic and entrancing, infusion of metal and hardcore to fans worldwide. But, above all else, the band has stayed true to themselves. A testament to their momentous impact on the genre, the quintet has influenced several generations of artists since their inception and will no doubt continue to inspire fans and artists for many years to come.
Having already triumphantly reclaimed the spotlight after their biggest collective hurdle – the 2014 hiatus which many anticipated would be the end of the band’s career as a cohesive unit – Orange County quintet, Brandan Schieppati (vocals), Derek Youngsma (drums), Marta Peterson (keyboards), BrianLeppke (guitar), and Ryan Wombacher (bass), clearly know what it takes for a successful resurgence.
With five Top 50 US charting records, 100 million catalog streams, over 400k physical album sales, and tours with Slipknot, Motionless In White, Lamb of God, and Unearth under their belts, there’s no arguing with the Bleeding Through’s methods and widespread appeal.
Music’s prodigal sons have returned to retake their throne with the release of their latest single ‘Our Brand is Chaos’, and Bleeding Through have no intention of crowning a successor just yet.
Metalcore titans UNEARTH proudly present their latest video for “Eradicator,” a standout track from their formidable album, The Wretched; The Ruinous. The video, showcasing the band’s relentless energy and unique artistry, is now available for viewing HERE.
Following the success of The Wretched; The Ruinous, UNEARTH continues to push boundaries, both musically and thematically. The album, lauded for its incisive commentary on global issues, stands as a testament to the band’s ability to blend aggressive sounds with thought-provoking lyrics.
Reflecting on the new video, vocalist Trevor Phipps says, “Since our new album The Wretched; The Ruinous was released ‘Eradicator’ has been posted and reposted more than any other track on the record by you all. Because of this we hit up our good friend Daniel Vandal from Kreact to shoot another live themed video (Incinerate) for us across the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. The footage captures the high energy, and mayhem (Barrie), our Canadian friends always bring to our shows north of the border. Check out ‘Eradicator’ now and see you on the road.”
The album The Wretched; The Ruinous delves into pressing global concerns, as Phipps explains: “The Wretched; The Ruinous is about the eight billion people on this planet. We’ve created a man-made mass extinction event and have been too slow to correct our faults. Extreme weather, drought, famine, disease, erosion of land, culture wars, civil wars, wars for natural resources, and the displacement of billions of people, is all a current reality. This isn’t a future problem; it is a now problem and I take this record to talk about it.”
UNEARTH‘s new video for “Eradicator” is more than just a musical statement; it’s a visual journey into the heart of what makes them one of metal’s most enduring and relevant acts.

PERISCIANS specializes in creating hard-hitting metalcore, with a wider range of influences injecting more of their personality into the music. The new single “Halo” follows their debut “Blind By Design” released earlier this year, showcasing further the trio’s distinctive take on metalcore.
PERISCIANS‘ formula encompasses a ferocious blend of old-school hardcore punk and the intensity of metal, creating a sonic assault that resonates with fans of extreme music. “Halo” continues this genre-crossing trend fusing heavy rock-esque chord progressions and vocal melodies with intricate technical guitars, harsh vocals and pounding drums. “Halo” is a thrilling track that draws you in. Rhythmic verses deliver a combination of light and dark across the instrumental and vocal parts. When the thundering choruses hit, they unleash a fury of percussion and bass while vocal melodies offer a contrasting mood soaring above.
About PERISCIANS: Based out of Columbus, Ohio, PERISCIANS debuted in April 2023 with their single “Blind By Design”. Their tracks thematically seek to expose corruption and unmasking how the ruling class utilizes manipulation, censorship, and misinformation to shape public perception. Musically, PERISCIANS‘ sound appeals to fans of GOJIRA, FEAR FACTORY, CURRENTS, and TRIVIUM, to name a few.
Both lyrically and musically MASS PUNISHMENT‘s songs are written about current events, and societies around the world being divided, conquered and destroyed. They explore the need to unite people and find peace through understanding and compromise or the absolute destruction of us all. The fierce new single, “God Less America”, will be released on July 6th, 2023.
“The song was inspired by the nightmare of chaos and division that has stricken the US to the core. The lockdowns, protests and riots along economic collapse and poor leadership to the top of a corrupt government that has brought us to the brink of civil war.”
The metalcore outfit unleash a fury of driving rhythms, relentless thrashing percussion and commanding vocals in “God Less America”. While bringing the brutally heavy, MASS PUNISHMENT also incorporate intricate technical leads into this powerful track. The quartet deliver an uncompromising and hard-hitting sound.
MASS PUNISHMENT is: Erick Laurino (Vocals) Christopher Milos (Guitars) Scott Ferguson (Bass) Brian Donat (Drums)
Credits: “God Less America” was recorded at The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio in Jackson, NJ, under producer George Pond
About MASS PUNISHMENT: MASS PUNISHMENT was established after guitarist Christopher Milos returned to the United States from serving in the Army and fighting on the front lines in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Christopher, having played guitar since childhood, had started writing the riffs and lyrics that would soon become the foundation of songs for MASS PUNISHMENT to build upon. Erick Laurino‘s commanding presence as a vocalist, Brian Donat‘s talent on drums and bassist Scott Ferguson‘s flair for composing striking harmonies completed their powerful line-up. Musically the band draw inspiration from the likes of PANTERA, FEAR FACTORY, KORN and SOULFLY, to name a few. The new single follows their 2022 live studio album The Suffering You Know.
