THE BLEEDING – Reveal Artwork, Details For “Morbid Prophecy”

World War Now Records is proud to announce UK Extreme Metallers THE BLEEDING, return with their hotly anticipated follow-up Morbid Prophecy, to 2018’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Rites of Absolution. Morbid Prophecy is set for release October 18, 2019 and the album cover art has now been unleashed.

Lead guitarist Tasos had this to say about the new album: “‘Morbid Prophecy’ is an aural descent into hell that encapsulates the saga of the fall of man. The themes of desperation, destruction and death echo through the album in a cacophony of damnation. Man enters the abyss and surrenders to the scale of horror he witnesses. With a ravaged mind he returns to deliver pain and suffering to the unbelievers.

Musically ‘Morbid Prophecy’ has set new standards for us in speed, execution and brutality. The songwriting process has been long and relentless as we pushed ourselves to create a blistering album that builds on the ferocity of our previous release ‘Rites of Absolution’. Formed in 2010 by Themis on vocals and Tasos on guitar, THE BLEEDING was soon joined by Jeff on guitar and Dimitris on drums. Sean on bass completed the line up. The band’s first public performance took place on September 30, 2012 at The Monarch in Camden Town, London and introduced Jamie on vocals. Death Eternal, the band’s debut album was unleashed in 2013. Followed by the 2018 release of the highly acclaimed Rites of Absolution album via World War Now Records.

CANNIBAL CORPSE continues to tour in support of their critically lauded Red Before Black full-length released last year via Metal Blade Records. Many words come to mind when you hear the name CANNIBAL CORPSE, but only one truly defines the soon-to-be thirty-year death metal veterans: Unstoppable. Produced by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Goatwhore), Red Before Black serves to not only reiterate this but to once more raise the stakes, making it abundantly clear who sets the standard when it comes to manifesting consistently compelling music that is as brutal as it is complex. “Throughout our career, we’ve tried to improve the precision of both our musical execution and our album production, while still maintaining full-on aggression. Red Before Black continues in that direction, but might go even further on the aggressive side of things. It’s definitely precise, but it has a rawness to it that goes beyond anything we’ve done recently,” asserts bassist Alex Webster.

“We really worked super hard crafting these songs, practicing them, and getting them where we wanted to be more so than on any of our previous albums,” adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz. “And as Alex said, musically I think it’s the rawest sound we’ve had – and at the same time I think it’s our most focused, tightest, and catchiest record.”

Slovenia’s legendary NOCTIFERIA are currently busy in the studio finishing recording their new album “Reforma – Tribute to LAIBACH”! Today the band announces the third guest on the album, THE TRUE MAYHEM‘s Csihar Attila. Read below the announcement:

“We are beyond honoured to let you know that legendary voice of black metal, The True Mayhem’s Csihar Attila joined Official David Vincent and Jørgen Munkeby on our Reforma project. Attila recorded main vocals for track ‘Tanz mit Laibach’ and it sounds extremely sacrilegious! It was an honour and dream come true for us to work with these three exceptional artists who exceeded our expectations in every way and did an amazing and professional job! Thank you all! CANNIBAL CORPSE – To Kick Off Decibel Magazine Tour With Morbid Angel Later This Month

In less than two weeks, CANNIBAL CORPSE will join Morbid Angel for a co-headlining run on this year’s edition of the Decibel Magazine Tour. A once-in-a-lifetime bill, the trek finds the two legendary death metal units sharing the stage for the first time ever in America. Support will be provided by rising Bay Area brutalizers Necrot and space-obsessed Denver death dealers Blood Incantation. The full tour runs from February 17th through March 14th. CANNIBAL CORPSE will exit the tour following the New York City date on March 7th. Immolation will join the caravan in its final week serving as main support to Morbid Angel.

As previously announced, Erik Rutan will fill in for guitarist Pat O’Brien on all upcoming CANNIBAL CORPSE dates as O’Brien tends to personal issues. Rutan has produced four albums with CANNIBAL CORPSE (Kill, Evisceration Plague, Torture, Red Before Black) and is uniquely equipped to fill the role – he is one of the death metal’s most acclaimed guitarists and is known for his time as part of Morbid Angel throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, as well as handling vocals/guitars and production duties for his current band Hate Eternal.

Draghkar was formed in 2016 by BW as an outlet for his love of death metal. After a series of lineup changes, Draghkar released a split with Desekryptor in the earlier half of 2018 and have come back now with their most ambitious and original output to date, a four track EP entitled The Endless Howling Abyss.
