MESHUGGAH Announce Immutable – The Indelible Edition | Unveils Music Video for “Ligature Marks”

Swedish progressive metal pioneers MESHUGGAH are thrilled to announce the release of their new music video for “Ligature Marks”. The video has debuted as part of the celebration around the reissue of their critically acclaimed album Immutable, which is now presented in the remastered Indelible Edition, which will be released on April 4th, 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music and is available for pre-order HERE. 

Following the critical acclaim of the original 2022 release, the Indelible Edition of Immutable arrives with a sonic enhancement, redefining the album’s depth and clarity, and includes three riveting live tracks recorded during MESHUGGAH’s world tours in 2023 and 2024. These additions not only showcase the band’s raw live energy but also underline their commitment to pushing musical boundaries.

The video for “Ligature Marks” is directed by Anthony Dubois, known for his visionary approach that complements MESHUGGAH’s complex musical landscapes. The video captures live performance footage that brings the intensity of their stage presence directly to fans.

The Indelible Edition of Immutable transcends a typical reissue, offering a fully immersive experience that extends over an hour of MESHUGGAH’s meticulously crafted music. This special edition will be available in two exquisite formats: a two-LP gatefold vinyl and a single-disc Digipak. Each format boasts a remastered audio experience, enriched by breathtaking new artwork and layout. Notably, the inclusion of distinctive gold foil accents enhances both the tactile and visual appeal, making it a collector’s gem.

Coinciding with the album reissue, MESHUGGAH is set to electrify stages across the U.S. and Canada with a massive,tour starting this March. The tour showcases the band’s complex themes and intricate soundscapes, bringing their creative evolution to life.

MESHUGGAH will headline the run with full support from the iconic and equally legendary CANNIBAL CORPSE and CARCASS, both of whom are renowned for their visceral and compelling musical styles. Swedish metal juggernauts MESHUGGAH will make their triumphant return to North American stages, bringing their genre-defying, mind-bending sound to fans across the U.S. and Canada. MESHUGGAH – To Issue Remastered Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Edition Of “Chaosphere” Full-Length November 10th 2023, Via Atomic Fire – Preorders Available

It is impossible to talk about experimental or avant-garde metal without mentioning long-running metal icons, MESHUGGAH. Since forming in 1987 in Umeå, Sweden, MESHUGGAH has developed into one of the most technically complex and virtuosic groups of players the metal realm has ever encountered, their distinctly unique brand of progressive, groove‐infused extreme metal inadvertently launching an entirely new subgenre. Crowned “one of the ten most important hard and heavy bands,” by Rolling Stone, the band has earned the respect and admiration from fans and musicians alike.

2023 now marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of one of the band’s earliest milestones: Chaosphere. Originally released on November 9th, 1998, MESHUGGAH’s third full-length studio album shows the band toning down some of the thrashier sounds of previous releases in favor of the more technical, polyrhythmic, groove-oriented sound they would go to explore on subsequent albums. The record contains the songs “New Millennium Cyanide Christ,” “Corridor Of Chameleons,” and “Neurotica,” some of the band’s most streamed tracks, among other highlights.

To commemorate the album’s quarter-century anniversary, Atomic Fire will unleash a sonically updated version of the album on November 10th. The re-release of this masterpiece comes in hi-def audio remastered by Thomas Eberger and Sofia von Hage at Stockholm Mastering on all streaming platforms, as well as a jewel case CD edition (incl. 8-page booklet), and stunning new vinyl colors (most are limited worldwide to under 1500 of each color, 180 grams, 2xLP in 5 mm Sleeve incl. 2-page insert), to complete every collector’s dream.

July 11th, 2023 – Swedish metal icons MESHUGGAH will return to US and Canadian stages for a nineteen date tour this Fall! Produced by Live Nation, the journey will commence on November 21st in San Diego, California and run through December 16th in Laval, Quebec. The tour marks the first time in five years that the band has played Canadian soil! Support will be provided by special guests In Flames and Whitechapel. The final show will also include the addition of Voivod!

MESHUGGAH – Reveals 2012 Release Date For New Album

Swedish Math Metal icons MESHUGGAH have revealed the release date of the bands upcoming new album:

“After a long time of deep soul-searching and intense wrecking of the psyches, the new album is finally done. Soon you will meet this colossus that will pulverize your being. Welcome to the other side on March 27.”

The release for most European countries is set for March 30, 2012.
