BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING Announce Release Date For “THE CRAZIES” – Album Artwork, Plus Track Details

CHICAGO, IL (DLSP) – BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING, the newly launched electro-metal studio project from producer Dietrich Thrall (MARAZENE), will release the bands debut single, “THE CRAZIES”, on November 5, 2013.

Two years in the making, “THE CRAZIES” (The Zombie Song) marks the first new material released by DieTrich since MARAZENE’s 2011’s critically hailed cover of MOTLEY CRUE’s “LIVE WIRE” and subsequent final single “WELCOME TO YOUR HOLIDAY.”

After spending the majority of 2012 locked away in his personal studio writing, arranging, and programming 40+ songs, DieTrich emerged for several minutes to announce his new project only to dive back into a 15 hour marathon studio session with drummer CHRIS EMERY of AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE. Other announced studio special guests include AARON “MONTY” MONTGOMERY (TRAPT), ANGEL BARTOLOTTA (DOPE, TEAM CYBERGEIST), CHRIS TELKES (NOCTURNE, THE RAZORBLADE DOLLS), and PROVO PROVENZANO (SKINLAB, RIKETS).

Provo has also been the engineering force behind the project. Said Provo: “BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING is one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on lately. DieTrich is insanely precise in the studio and has a great vision for where his songs need to be and the DIY ability and attitude to get it done right. DieTrich has also brought in some amazing studio musicians to help round out a unique and catchy collection of gritty and electronic based tunes. I can’t wait to get these songs out for the world to hear!”

BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING are currently editing multiple full production videos for “THE CRAZIES” (The Zombie Song) as well as two other tracks, “REVEILLE” and “JULIET” that the band plans to drop in the coming weeks. Release dates for the songs and the videos are forthcoming.

ABSU – Trve Brewing Company Announces Collaboration With Band To Release Four Different Beers

Denver, Colorado’s Trve Brewing Company is proud to announce details on their upcoming first out of four ales titled Eastern Candle, dedicated to the mythological occult metal act ABSU. In honor of their 20th anniversary second album, The Sun Of Tiphareth, Trve has created the first out of four ales: Eastern Candle – a pale wheat beer fermented with brettanomyces in white wine barrels. The ale is a fine equilibrium of wheat and white wine with a slight, fruit-like yeast character. (Fittingly named after the song Never Blow Out The Eastern Candle).

The three forthcoming beers to be unleashed are the following:

Tiphareth – Red Ale: This will be a soured beer with a mild strain of brettanomyces fermented in red wine barrels. This fusion will have a nice malty, tart, yet dry balance including red wine adding a background complexity.

Manannán – Brown Ale: The Manannán batch will feature rye in the grain bill, as it will be soured and fermented with a shrouded strain of brettanomyces in whiskey barrels. This will be a more assertive brew with malt character and plenty of obscurity from the yeast while also showcasing the barrel flavors.

Winter Zephyr – Black Ale: A dark wheat and dark rye concoction giving the beer its cryptic color. This ale will highlight a fair amount of oats to retain vast body after the brettanomyces have alchemically fermented in wine barrels.

ABSU recently announced details of their upcoming North American Connexus Continuation Tour, the trek to showcase the band performing set with music spanning throughout their twenty-two year recording career. This excursion is a follow-up mini-tour by the Texas-based mythological occult metal trio since the release of Abzu – the second of a planned trilogy of recordings.

EYEHATEGOD – Melvins Drummer Dale Crover Volunteers To Play With EHG At The Housecore Horror Film Fest

Following the tragic death of EYEHATEGOD drummer Joey LaCaze, legendary Melvins basher, Dale Crover, recently volunteered to seize the drum stool for the band’s scheduled set at the inaugural Housecore Horror Film Fest later this month.

Said the band in a collective statement: “With the recent passing of our longtime friend and drummer, Joey LaCaze, there’s no way to pay him a better tribute than EYEHATEGOD performing alongside one of his main influences and favorite musicians!”

EYEHATEGOD will level Housecore with Crover on October 27th at Emo’s in Austin alongside Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Goblin and more.

The band has also booked an additional handful of live takeovers following the fest including a special Halloween show at the fabled House of Shock in Jefferson, Louisiana. The drummer for those dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Confirmed dates are included below.

Joey LaCaze passed away of respiratory failure on August 23rd in New Orleans following the band’s five-week Undermining Society’s Rules Since 1988 European Tour. LaCaze was 42.

Belgian Death Metal horde DEHUMAN are hitting the road with the legendary MASTER for the third time. First was their late 2012 “Bleeding Europe Tour”, then both embarked on a weekend tour of the UK in early 2013 and now they’re invading The Balkans together.

From December 12 – 21, DEHUMAN will bring the “Desecrated Deathkult Tour” to seven different countries – Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey – in support of their debut full-length, Black Throne of all Creation, released last year by Kaotoxin Records. Croatian death hoard HANGED will provide support for select dates.

In other DEHUMAN news, the band is currently working hard on the follow-up to Black Throne of all Creation. The as-of-yet-untitled album is being recorded at Blackout Studios (Enthroned, Emptiness) and will be mixed and mastered by Francis Caste at Sainte Marthe Studios (Arkhon Infaustus, Department Of Correction). Kaotoxin Records is tentatively planning an early 2014 release.

DEHUMAN – BAND BIO:

DEHUMAN was founded in 2006 by 4 teenage devotees of Florida Death Metal but the definitive line-up was only finalized in 2010 with the arrival of drummer Laye. Since then the band has been making a name for itself through regular concerts and tours alongside well-established groups (Possessed, Master, Macabre, Belphegor, Agathocles, Aborted, Prostitute Disfigurment, Severe Torture, Leng Tch’e,Cattle Decapitation, Blood red Throne, Arkangel,etc..) and especially through the release of their first album “Black Throne of All Creation – out now on LP and CD. This sensational debut album, recorded in Blackout studio (Enthroned, Corpus Christi, Emptiness..) in February and March 2011, pushes back the sonic boundaries and takes no prisoners.

Black Throne of All Creation confirmed DEHUMAN as one of the rising stars of European Death Metal and recalls the golden age of death metal with its musical references to Death, Carcass, Suffocation and many others. Building on the foundations of old school Metal, DEHUMAN creates their own sound and technique in a way which is reminiscent of Decapitated or Origin.

SYLOSIS – After Tour Bus Accident, Band Needs Support From Metal Community

SYLOSIS – As many of you know (or may not know), Sylosis was involved in a terrible tour bus crash, this past week. Fortunately there were no casualties; however there were injuries, resulting in the band’s tour cancellation with Trivium and DevilDriver. Money is now a huge issue for these unfortunate Metal lads from Reading, England.

I’ve posted below, the (2) actual Facebook entries from Sylosis’s guitarist/vocalist Josh Middleton. Maybe you can (please) help this great Metal band get back on their feet to recover their funds lost, due to this accident. Metal be thy name.

Hey guys. Josh here again and again wanting to thank everyone for their support these past few days. It’s been overwhelming.

We’re really feeling it pretty hard today and are looking like a bunch of slow, old men when we walk. Aside from the physical issues that prevent us from continuing on with the tour it has also put us in thousands of pounds worth of debt due to losing the deposit (and now paying extra) on the RV, damaged trailer, booking new flights home, equipment damage and we’re now incurring all kinds of transport/accommodation costs as we make our journey home.

The last thing we want is for people to think we’re now cashing in on the accident and taking advantage of people’s sympathy, but we need some help right now so we’ve just released two exclusive tshirts where all the profits will go towards clearing our debts. Both of the shirts are available as a pre-order.

Below is an injury and band status report for Sylosis, As reported by guitarist/vocalist Josh Middleton on the Sylosis Facebook page on September 25th, 2013:

Hey everyone, Josh here. Myself, Rob and Bailey have just been released after over ten hours in hospital. Carl is being kept in overnight as he’s in too much pain to walk but should hopefully be released tomorrow morning (Montreal time) once some of his muscle pain/swelling has subsided.

All four of us and our driver were hospitalised but seeing as Bailey was the only one who didn’t get taken in on a stretcher and a neck brace he wasn’t treated as urgently. He’s just had his back sewn up and is off to the scrap yard where the RV was taken to get people’s clothes and some personal items – hero.

We’re all very lucky. We’ve mostly just been stitched up (my eyebrow, a few on Carl’s legs and Bailey’s back), badly bruised and what feels like full body whiplash. In car accident terms we’re alright but in general terms we’re not physically capable of continuing on with the tour and aim to get back to our families and friends asap to recover.

We want to thank the paramedics, the passers-by who came to our help, the staff at the hospital and all of the fans and bands that have wished us well. It means the world to us.

CHICAGO, IL (DLSP) – BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING, the newly launched electro-metal studio project from producer Dietrich Thrall (MARAZENE), have shifted gears and have begun filming multiple videos to support their initial digital releases set to drop this fall. A video for the band’s debut single “THE CRAZIES” was filmed on September 21 in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and the first still from the zombie-themed video can be seen below.

While “THE CRAZIES” studio recording features ANGEL BARTOLOTTA (DOPE, TEAM CYBERGEIST) on drums and CHRIS TELKES (NOCTURNE, THE RAZORBLADE DOLLS) on guitar as guest musicians, drummer CHRIS EMERY of AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE and guitarist PROVO PROVENZANO (SKINLAB, RIKETS, EVERYBODY PANIC!) are featured in the video.

Band performance footage was also previously filmed in August at VOODOO LOUNGE located in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area for “REVEILLE” and “JULIET”. Special guests on the pair of videos includes drummer LEVI DICKERSON and bassist COREY HENDERSON of NUCLEAR BLAST recording artists ANTI-MORTEM.

Release dates for all three videos are expected in the coming weeks.

Thrall comments on the videos: “Been very busy in Thrall World putting together a bunch of performance footage for three BEAUTY IN THE SUFFERING videos for all of our initial releases. On September 27th, 1986, Clifford Lee “Cliff” Burton passed away from injuries sustained in a bus accident, in Sweden, at the very young age of 24. It seems like yesterday, when I first heard the tragic news. I feel lucky, no, I feel blessed that I was able to see Cliff Burton perform live on stage, with Metallica, so many years ago.

There shall never be another bassist like Cliff Burton. I and my fellow Metal brethren shall celebrate the Metal accomplishments of Cliff Burton, today and every day. Life is to be cherished. Metal be thy name.

New York City thrashers GenerationKillOfficial have revealed the artwork & track listing for WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE, the band’s second studio album to be released in North America on November 26th.

“We achieved our goal of creating something that we all are so proud of,” states GENERATION KILL frontman & lyricist Rob Dukes, who also fronts the Bay Area thrash band Exodus.

“We called this album We’re All Gonna Die because for the most part the lyrics are about the darker side of the existence of humans on this planet.
