Supergroup Pink Velvet Krush originate from Long Island, New York and they released a marvelous EP of five songs in the latter part of 2014, via HighVolMusic. If this EP from Pink Velvet Krush, F.S.O.A., is an indication of what’s to come from them, then I am holding my spot as first in line! Everything about this EP is BIG sonically and makes me feel freaking amazingly great!

I cannot help hearing the passion that Pink Velvet Krush has towards their own music and the Rock ‘N’ Roll legends that have influenced them. This band is so grand to listen to on this E.P. that it’s downright stunning. Make no mistake, Pink Velvet Krush are an original group and are/would be an asset to any open-air festival of Hard Rock and/or Metal. Pink Velvet Krush ROCK so damn fine that Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Def Leppard and KISS should be knocking down PVK’s door to be their opening band. I’m not talking shit here, I put my Metal reputation on it. All five songs on F.S.O.A. rain down with that glorious 80’s Arena vibe and chills. I love that. I NEED to see this band live!

PINK VELVET KRUSH welcomes former Gene Loves Jezebel drummer Joe Larsen as the newest member of the band.

“We had a short list of musicians we wanted to look at with Joe being at the top of that list. Joe was the guy that stood out. He is the complete package. His professionalism, experience, style, energy and do what it takes attitude is what landed him the throne. Rehearsals are set, new material is being demoed, and we cannot wait to hit the road and let everyone see what we got. Great things are on the horizon” – PVK

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Joe started playing drums at the age of five. Privately tutored and professionally trained, Joe honed his skills throughout the years joining his first band DIADEM and then moved to Los Angeles, California attending UCLA and graduated with a four-year degree in music. Joe auditioned for the band Rockstar Supernova and then went on to join the band Tommy Had A Vision. Joe did session work and performed at a variety of industry events before getting the gig with Gene Loves Jezebel in 2013.

“As a young boy growing up I have looked up to many artists. I am not just a fan of their timeless music but they are also my musical Idols. Dreaming big in hopes that one day I would to have my Led Zeppelin moment and write my name in Rock & Roll History. Thank you Pink Velvet Krush for this amazing opportunity. F.S.O.A. (Fifty Shades of Anything) the new E.P. by Long Island rockers PINK VELVET KRUSH is set for release later this month on November 25th. The project was recorded last month at Red V Studios in New York with producer Vic Rivera (Adrian Gale, Poley/Rivera). Rivera also engineered, mixed and contributed backing vocals on the project. Bill Leverty (Firehouse) will handle the mastering at Leverty Sound in Virginia.

 F.S.O.A. contains five tracks of which the track F.S.O.A. was released as an advanced single last month. The track can be heard at this location.

Long Island, New York: “Ball and Chain” – a pilot track from Pink Velvet Krush, the new band comprised of guitarist Sean Quidgeon (ex Dust N’ Bones), guitarist Greg Polcari (ex Britny Fox, Steelheart), drummer Ryche Green (ex Bulletboys), bassist Steve Rivera (ex Surrender), and vocalist Doug ‘Savage’ Ramey (ex Vaudeville), is now streaming online via their Reverb Nation.

The track is also available for a FREE download from Reverb Nation just for joining the Pink Velvet Krush mailing list.

Pink Velvet Krush also signed with HighVolMusic to a multi-release deal starting with their debut E.P. due this fall.

The band returned from a weekend warrior run of successful shows. “We’ve written about 15 songs and wanted to test the product, see how the set went over in front of people. These shows were a great way to accomplish that. It was also a great way to work out any kinks for the upcoming all original Danger Danger show this Saturday August 30th at Revolution in Amityville, NY. The label still has few tickets left for anyone that may need one.” says bassist Steve Rivera.

Pink Velvet Krush will enter Tropic Digital Studios on Tuesday the 26th to begin recording their debut E.P.

PINK VELVET KRUSH To Support DANGER DANGER

Pink Velvet Krush is pleased to announce that they will be supporting Danger Danger on Saturday August 30th at Revolution in Amityville, NY. Danger Danger will be performing a 25th Anniversary Reunion Show featuring Ted Poley, Andy Timmons, Steve West, Bruno Ravel, and Kasey Smith. This show is the only U.S. show to feature the original band. Tickets are $20 and available at this location.

August 30th will mark the debut performance for Pink Velvet Krush who recently announced their formation featuring former Bulletboys, Britny Fox, Steelheart and Vaudeville members.

HighVolMusic Announces Pink Velvet Krush

Baltimore, MD: Pink Velvet Krush, the new group formed by musicians with a notable past. The band is made up of drummer Ryche Green (x-Bulletboys, x-Saints of Rebellion), guitarist Greg Polcari (x-Britny Fox, x-Steelheart), vocalist Doug Savage (x-Vaudeville), guitarist Sean Quidgeon (x-Dust N’ Bones) and bassist Steve Rivera (x-Surrender).

Pink Velvet Krush is currently writing new material and will begin recording the yet to be titled debut in August at Tropic Digital in Long Island, NY. Pink Velvet Krush is set to begin rehearsals for a string of dates also scheduled in August which will mark their inaugural performance. The band will perform their new originals as well as pepper in a few songs from their respective past.
