Power Metal Icons IRON FIRE Announce May 4th Release of ‘Dawn of Creation: Twentieth Anniversary’ on Crime Records

Power Metal Icons IRON FIRE have announced the May 4 release of double-CD Dawn of Creation: Twentieth Anniversary on Crime Records. The album, which includes a special collection of demos, live tracks, covers, and three new songs, will be available on double-CD Digipack CD and digital formats. The label released the following statement concerning the forthcoming historical Metal document:

“So now it’s been twenty years since five young guys from the Danish country side decided that power metal should be the first step on their quest to glory. The name Iron Fire came up and carved in stone that these Danes meant to be real, and despite their young age, forge catchy power metal rooted in the classics of Helloween and Running Wild. As the journey continued, ups and downs turned and reformed the band into the trio of today. And now that trio is looking back, and in their wish to celebrate 20 years of power metal, a selection of demo songs has found its way to a double album. Along with three brand new songs Iron Fire provides old songs in the original pre-album versions as well as previously unreleased material. This is the raw and pure, from the heart of Iron Fire. DRAGONFORCE – To Kick Off North American Summer Tour This Friday

Slated to commence July 7th in San Francisco, California and run through July 29th in Ft. For their seventh studio album, DRAGONFORCE has opened up their sound like never before, capturing the fierce, forlorn and fun with both menace and melody. “I think we have proven that playing fast was something we were good at, so this time I wanted to bring even more diversity into our music,” comments bassist Frederic Leclercq. “It’s great to challenge ourselves instead of staying in a comfort zone, and I really wanted to experiment with [lead vocalist] Marc [Hudson]’s vocals. On the 24th August 2007, AFM Records released the debut album by a brand new band called EDEN’S CURSE. Coming on like a cross between classic American bands Queensrÿche and Dokken, married with the European stylings of Pink Cream 69 or latter day Edguy, EDEN’S CURSE were warmly received by the global Rock & Metal press and public alike.

Fast forward to January 2016 and EDEN’S CURSE celebrate a decade together and in October of that year they released their fifth studio album ‘Cardinal’ on AFM Records. To celebrate the tenth anniversary, AFM Records and EDEN’S CURSE hatched a plan to re-record the classic debut album in its entirety. “The first album really was the foundation for all that was to follow. Ever since Nikola joined the band we have been inundated with requests to re-record some of the older material and whilst it would be great fun, it would also be the same amount of work as recording a brand new album.” says bassist Paul Logue.

Coupled with the re-recorded debut album is the ‘Live In Glasgow – Official Bootleg DVD’ which is the ‘Live With The Curse’ live album recording show in its entirety. Filmed at The Classic Grand in Glasgow on 28th November 2014, the release marks the band’s first official live DVD release, albeit in a bootleg form. “The footage is absolutely excellent” states bassist Logue. “We did not intend to film a DVD, but the audio recording company brought two cameras along to capture the show and when we saw the results we were really surprised!“ he adds.

‘Eden’s Curse – Revisited’ is the ultimate package for EDEN’S CURSE fans old and new and a fantastic introduction to the band’s music. It’s a true celebration of the record that started it all, from the guys who carry the legacy forward. Greek melodic Power Metal masters FIREWIND, the group led by guitar-wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band member Gus G., are proud to announce the release of their upcoming 8th studio album, “Immortals”, which will be released on January 20th, 2017 via AFM Records in North America (Century Media Records in Europe).

Gus G. checked in to comment about “Immortals” and its artwork (which can be seen above) as follows: “Today we’re very happy to reveal the cover artwork for our 8th studio album. It’s titled “Immortals” and it’s the first concept album FIREWIND has ever made. Since we’re from Greece, we thought it would be a cool idea to make a concept of Greek history and heritage. So, on this album we focused on the legendary battles of Thermopylae and Salamis during the 2nd Persian invasion of Greece in 480 BC. The artwork was once again created by our longtime collaborator, Gustavo Sazes and we feel it reflects the vibe we tried to capture on this album – Epic, Powerful, Glorious, Everlasting.”

“Immortals” marks the first time FIREWIND used an outside co-producer, working with Dennis Ward (Unisonic, Pink Cream 69), who not only engineered, mixed and mastered the album, he also co-wrote it together with Gus G. The album’s track listing reads as follows:

Belgian Melodic Power Metal band IRON MASK is right now putting finishing touches on their brand new album, titled “Diabolica”, which is scheduled for a September 23rd release, via AFM Records.

The following is from the IRON MASK Facebook and written by Dushan Petrossi – guitarist, lyricist, songwriter and writer of orchestral arrangements for IRON MASK:

I am happy and eager to present to you: “Diabolica ‘s line -up”.
 The sixth Iron Mask album, where I, as always, gave it my all to create something that pleases the fans, that I am proud to call my art. 
It is with great honour that I present to you the band!

First of all, 
On bass, the deep sound with a precise hand, Vassili Moltchanov.
 On drums, Heartbeat of the band, the great stick-spinning Master of Groove, Ramy Ali.
 On guitars, orchestration and all music composing and lyrics, yours truly…

Last but not least, for vocals I have worked together with Diego Valdez from Argentina (Electronomicon, Helker). 
After a long search and life twisting events, the band and I decided that only him could give these new songs justice, a new era and a bright future has just began.
 His passion and sound give an extra dimension to the soul of every single song.
 Working with him is a real joy on a high professional and artistic level.
 His voice is in perfect harmony with my music, just as his personality is with mine.

IRON FIRE – Bio

Denmark’s best-selling Power Metal band Iron Fire is still alive and kicking. Sixteen years ago when a new millennium was entered, the Thunderstorm album struck the world, and is today considered a Danish Power Metal cult classic. Seven albums later the band still breathes as vibrantly as ever, and although there’s been various line-up changes, founding member Martin Steene and his sidekick Kirk Backarach pushed the boundaries of the band. In addition to Steene and Kirk, another founding member joined the battlefield, as original drummer Gunnar Olsen rejoined the band in 2015 after 15 years of absence.

Iron Fire is therefore now a three-piece band that still clings to melodic old school Power Metal as it was meant to be played. The music however has not remained still, instead evolving over time: From the dark epic Voyage of the Damned and the Rock n Roll influenced March of the Immortals, to classic power hymns like Wings of Rage. But first and foremost Iron Fire takes Power Metal very literally, as the common denominator in the music is and has always been, power… with a capital P!

The powerful vocals of Andy B. Franck is one amazing reason to buy this album; he can hit the hight notes with the very best of them. The speedy, immensely entertaining and melodic guitar talents of Torsten Ihlenfeld and Milan Loncaric are another HUGE reason to buy Scary Creatures. Unreal. The rhythm section of Antonio Ieva on bass and Dieter Bernert on drums only enhances the maximum Power Metal bliss I’ve been enjoying from this new BRAINSTORM release. Yes, that’s maximum Power Metal bliss!

What a gifted band BRAINSTORM is. There honestly is no filler moments on Scary Creatures, in my Metal opinion. This is a Power Metal album that has excited me from beginning to end! BRAINSTORM has taken me on a non-stop ride into Power Metal paradise! From the title track to Sky Among The Clouds, I honestly cannot believe how intense this album freaking ROCKS!! I will be playing this BRAINSTORM album forever, my Metal brethren!

If you’re a Power Metal loyalist and believe Helloween, Manowar, Doro, Iron Savior and Primal Fear are all gifts from the Metal Gods, you will no doubt become a true believer in BRAINSTORM; that is if you haven’t already. Metal be thy name. – Stone
