Brace yourselves, metalheads! In a seismic announcement that has sent shockwaves throughout the metal community, two of Sweden’s most iconic metal bands, ARCH ENEMY and IN FLAMES, team up for a European co-headline tour titled the “Rising From The North”, with special guest SOILWORK, this promises an unforgettable night of Swedish metal mayhem!

Michael Amott (ARCH ENEMY) comments as follows: “What an insane Swedish Metal extravaganza across Europe in 2024! We share a lot of history with IN FLAMES and SOILWORK, going all the way back to the very early days of ARCH ENEMY. We’re extremely stoked to be doing this special tour with our Swedish comrades – let’s go!!!”

Anders Fridén (IN FLAMES) continues:

BATTLECROSS And WOVENWAR Have Begun North American Tour With SOILWORK, UNEARTH And DARKNESS DIVIDED

Metal Blade lablemates BATTLECROSS and WOVENWAR will kick off their North American Fury Tour tonight supporting Soilwork and Unearth. The trek will coil its way through over two dozen venues, coming to a close on November 16th in Toronto, Ontario. Additional support will be provided by Darkness Divided.

Following the journey, BATTLECROSS will close 2016 with a three-week headlining run: the third installment of the Winter Warriors Tour. This year, support will be provided by Metal Blade labelmates Allegaeon and Necromancing The Stone. In conjunction with the Veterans Ticket Foundation, the Winter Warriors Tour will once again offer free admission to members of the US Armed Forces and the band will donate a portion of their proceeds to local veterans’ organizations in each city.

SOILWORK – Announce “The Living Infinite” Artwork, Release Date And Track List

The Living Infinite, the ninth studio album and first double album release by Swedish Melodic Death Metal maestros SOILWORK, will be unleashed on February 27th in Asia (via license to Marquee Records), in Europe on March 1st, and in North America on March 5th.

Produced by Jens Bogren (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, BLOODBATH), The Living Infinite features artwork by MNEMIC’s Mircea Gabriel Eftemie who shares:

“Seven years ago, I created the artwork for the Stabbing The Drama album and I can’t believe how time flies! Here we are, with sexy grey hairs, working with my friends in SOILWORK again. This time, we built the cover around a maritime concept, aiming for something direct and symbolic. I believe we achieved that quite well. From my creative deck, I salute you and say: Long Live The Living Infinite.”

SOILWORK states: “After commissioning some pretty elaborate covers for the last couple of records, we decided to try something more sober and design-oriented for The Living Infinite. I LEGION – Release Debut Album Featuring Members Of Soilwork, Threat Signal, Mutiny Within And More

What happens when you combine Björn Strid (SOILWORK), Jon Howard (THREAT SIGNAL), Chris Clancy (ex-MUTINY WITHIN), Peter Wichers (SOILWORK), Brandon Jacobs (ex-MUTINY WITHIN), Andy James (SACRED MOTHER TONGUE), Angel Vivaldi (VEXT), and musical genius Frederic Riverin?  Simple: you get one kick ass Metal record in the form of the band I LEGION.

I LEGION have officially released their debut album titled Beyond Darkness.

I LEGION is the musical work of Frederic Riverin, who spent the better part of 2011 crafting his latest project. With the help of producer and vocalist Chris Clancy, they both created the melodic metal sounds of what would become the debut album titled Beyond Darkness. Metal monsters Björn Strid, Jon Howard, and Chris Clancy handled vocal duties for the epic 12 track masterpiece. Modern guitar heroes Peter Wichers, Andy James, Angel Vivaldi, and Brandon Jacobs all contributed to the tasteful melodic lead guitar playing.

All these musicians helped Frederic to create his own album: alone, but with a legion behind him. The I LEGION.

THE NEOLOGIST have announced their “mystery drummer” on the upcoming first track of the bands new SOILWORK cover album as none other than the multi-faceted SAMUS (Decrepit Birth, ex-Mutiny Within, ex-Abigail Williams, ex-Suspyre).  THE NEOLOGIST have collaborated with SAMUS for their first release, “Shadowchild”.

Coming off the heels of their debut album, The 26 Letters of Your Universe,  THE NEOLOGIST also released a full length IN FLAMES cover album titled IN FLAMES We Trust: Volume I.  They are at it again as they are currently recording a brand new full SOILWORK cover album.  The band has also asked fans to help them pick which songs to cover by leaving their requests on the band’s website www.theneologist.net
