On January 19, 2024, Swedish melodic power metal act METALITE will release their forthcoming studio album, Expedition One, and sees them unleash their most gigantic record to date!

Expedition One tells a fictitious story about life on our planet in the year 2055. The band’s upcoming magnum opus inspires with a wide range of diverse compositions and an intelligent sci-fi story that couldn’t be more topical. In addition, their fourth album offering manifests the musicians’ amazing artistic development.

METALITE‘s visionary sci-fi trip is told over sixteen multi-faceted songs that combine the quintet’s many strengths: powerful and at the same time delicate guitar riffs and solos, anthemic melodies courtesy of vocalist Erica Ohlsson, driving rhythms and cleverly positioned keyboard parts. Expedition One was produced by guitarist Edwin Premberg, and was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen. Where Joey met Norum and started the band FORCE! The local fans from Upplands Väsby have always been fantastic supporters of the band!

FALCONER have finished recording their new album, “Black Moon Rising.” The record will be released on June 6th! Music and more info coming soon.

The band offered the following comment: “So now the mix and mastering is done for BLACK MOON RISING. After having a break from the studio and then returning my first impression was: “Was it that much double bass drums?” I’m sure this album will compete with NORTHWIND as being my favourite album though they are not alike. The last album entirely in Swedish was really rewarding to do but I must admit it’s always great to be back where you feel you belong! Well, enough with the self admiration for this time.”

Producer Andy LaRocque had the following to say: “This is how Falconer should sound!”

King Diamond has confirmed a main stage appearance at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, Sweden this summer. This will be the band’s only appearance in Sweden for 2014. Fans will see King Diamond’s over-the-top and critically-lauded stage show on Gröna Lund’s main stage on July 25th, 2014.

The ticket situation is: you cannot buy tickets in advance. Gröna Lund is Sweden’s oldest amusement park, with a historic outdoor stage, which has been performed on by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Slayer, Kiss, ZZ Top and many, many more. Since this is in an amusement park, you simply pay for the entrance on the day of our show, and the concert itself is free.

CRYSTAL EYES – Signs With Massacre Records

We’re happy to announce the signing of Sweden’s Heavy Metal quartet CRYSTAL EYES!

The story of CRYSTAL EYES began back in 1992, when Mikael Dahl and Niclas Karlsson formed the band to keep the legacy of Heavy Metal set in the 80’s by bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath.
During the mid 90’s, the band built a strong underground reputation with the release of 4 demo tapes.

The debut album “World Of Black And Silver” was released in 1999, followed by “In Silence They March” in 2000 both via CLM. Both albums received great reviews.

“Vengeance Descending” hit the stores in 2003, released on Heavy Fidelity, and led to CRYSTAL EYES playing at the Sweden Rock Festival in the same year. Mikael handed over the microphone to Daniel Heiman, who was featured as new vocalist on the band’s 4th album “Confessions Of The Maker” (2005).

Also in 2005, CRYSTAL EYES returned to Sweden Rock as opening act. This gig was the only one with Daniel on vocals, who was then replaced by Søren Nico Adamsen in late 2005.

The two following albums “Dead City Dreaming” (2006) and “Chained” (2008) were both mixed by Fredrik Nordström, with whom the band once again worked on the upcoming album.

Søren Nico Adamsen left the band in 2009 and Mikael took over the microphone again.

CRYSTAL EYES celebrated the band’s 20th anniversary in 2012 with special gigs including former band members and songs from every record. In the past decades, CRYSTAL EYES also supported bands like Blind Guardian, Yngwie Malmsteen and Candlemass.

CRYSTAL EYES’ new album “Killer” is set to be released later this year via Massacre Records!
