Since the 2013 release of their debut LP, Manifest Decimation, on Southern Lord, Texas maniacs, POWER TRIP, have toured incessantly, bringing their hyperactive brew of modernized-but-old-school thermonuclear crossover to ragers across multiple continents. The ongoing attack will continue into 2015, as the band has just announced a new bash of US tour dates in February and March, with their performance at Florida’s FYA Fest still confirmed before the year comes to a close.
First up, closing their crushing 2014 tour schedule down, POWER TRIP will bring their mayhem to the Fern Park, Florida-based FYA Fest, joining a bruising roster of hardcore acts including Down To Nothing, Incendiary, Code Orange, Cold World, Bitter End, Mammoth Grinder, Discourse, Homewrecker and tons of others on December 27th and 28th. From February 23rd through 25th, they’ll raid three Texan towns: Houston, Austin and San Antonio, alongside S.H.I.T..
On March 3rd, POWER TRIP gets underway with a three-week run through the Midwest and West Coast states, set to conclude at South By So What?! 2015 Festival in Grand Prairie, Texas, on select dates joining Build And Destroy, Title Fight and Merchandise. But as always with these road animals, more dates will undoubtedly be announced in the coming weeks.
