The Gloria Story is a mashup of punk rock attitude with 70’s hard rock energy – always with a dark twist and a catchy analogue sound. Their debut album “Shades of White” instantly hit the #1 spot on Swedish rock charts upon its release in 2011. The band has also been awarded with a platinum disc for their hit single “OH NO (2010)”. On their latest effort “Born to Lose (2013)” you will find a dirtier, more bass driven and heavier sounding The Gloria Story. No ballads, no fillers, no AOR. Just catchy punk rock melodies over chewy riffing. The concept of mixing party oriented, lo-tech rock and roll with pure entertainment has made The Gloria Story into one of the most promising Swedish touringmachines in recent years. It’s all about reinventing the sounds of the 70’s, and stopping at nothing to give their audience a great show.
