Icelandic metal collective POWER PALADIN returns with force, steel and fire as they present their brand-new single “Sword Vigor”, the first taste of their upcoming studio album Beyond The Reach Of Enchantment, due out on March 27, 2026 via ROAR – a division of Reigning Phoenix Music!

“Sword Vigor” delivers classic heavy metal spirit wrapped in epic power metal form, driven by galloping riffs, soaring melodies and a strong sense of heroism. The track continues the band’s fantasy-driven narrative universe and serves as the next chapter in an ongoing saga of trials, destiny and triumph. Cruz Del Sur Music Releasing GREYHAWK’s Warriors of Greyhawk in February | Opening Track, “Ascension” Streaming Now!

Seattle (WA) – Fusing classic U.S. power metal, AOR and all things epic metal; Greyhawk returns with their third album of triumphant battle hymns!

Cruz Del Sur Music will release Warriors of Greyhawk on February 13, 2026 (North American physical product distribution on March 6). The album will be available on CD, Tape, Viny LP, and digital formats.

Refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for adventure; Greyhawk are back with their third album of epic, melodic power/heavy metal fused with an anthemic AOR angle. Shredding guitars, soaring vocals, powerful rhythms and songs that will stick with you are all a part of this majestic opus. 

Grandiose and powerful vocals complete the mix, which is perfectly blended by Henrik Udd’s sublime production which is detailed and grandiose. Daniel Porta has provided artwork for this record and clearly the band have had a strong input on all aspects of the release to make sure the entire experience is gripping for you, the fans.

Not many bands blend the more traditional epic heavy/power metal glory with these AOR elements but Greyhawk do so marvellously, giving the music not only power but memorability, showing that on their third album, this will definitely stand the test of time. The musicianship is continually improving on all counts, from the crushing drumming to the mind-blowing guitar work to the operatic and stunning vocals. Lovers of all things fantastical, adventurous and metallic will be enchanted, enthralled and bedazzled by this stratospheric effort.

“This album is a return to the epic metal roots that we had on our debut album Keepers of the Flame”, says founding member Darin Wall. “It also features some faster songs where we explore our love for power metal, as well as some of the 80s AOR vibes we had on the last album Thunderheart. Songs about inner strength, overcoming obstacles in life, and triumphing in victory are all present here. Creating an experience where the listener can find inspiration from the lyrics and energy of the songs, or detach from reality a bit and get lost in some of the epic fantastical themes is the goal. Ronnie James Dio is the band’s biggest influence as far as lyrical themes go.”

US Power Metal Kings DESTINY’S END Announce Archival Live Album, ‘Breathe Deep The Road’ (Live & Unreleased)

Metal fans, prepare for a sonic excavation. Destiny’s End, the influential US Power Metal supergroup featuring vocalist James Rivera (Helstar), has officially announced the upcoming release of Breathe Deep the Road’ (Live & Unreleased), a definitive collection capturing the band’s peak era. The album will be released on January 23, 2026.

Documenting the band’s legendary 1999 tour alongside Nevermore and Iced Earth, the album features six explosive live tracks, including the iconic “Breathe Deep in the Dark,” and a crushing medley of Judas Priest classics. In addition, the collection includes three never-before-heard studio tracks: a lost bonus track from the original 1998 sessions, a menacing King Diamond cover, and a powerful tribute to Dio. All tracks have been recently remastered for maximum impact by Andrew Lee.

German dark power metal force ORDEN OGAN have dropped a thunderous new live version of their fan-favorite track “Conquest”, taken from their latest full-length The Order Of Fear, released in July 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Recorded during the band’s Tour of Fear in the sold-out Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany, this version captures the raw intensity and electric communion between the band and their audience. “Conquest” has quickly risen to become a staple in the ORDEN OGAN setlist, and this live cut shows exactly why: riffs sharp as steel, massive choruses, and a crowd roaring as one. ORDEN OGAN once again prove that true power metal lives on stage: loud, larger than life, and unforgettable!

Andi Deris comments on the song: “I wanted to write something about the last drop that causes a huge flooding – a little is a little too much. The story itself is a bit erotic. It’s about my first experiences when I was a teenager. You always dream about having sex and finally once you have it you realise: Okay, it took one second that something happened that you didn’t want in that moment. And here we go: A little is a little too much, better don’t move or don’t touch. But in the end, it is about all the minor things that get out of hand with this little bit more, and then it’s a little too much.”

Guitarist Sascha Gerstner, originator of the clip idea, adds: “HELLOWEEN have been known for going against the tide of heavy metal clichés since the 80’s. Think of music videos like ‘I Want Out’ or ‘Where The Rain Grows’, it always was about not taking yourself too seriously. With the music video for ‘A Little Is A Little Too Much,’ we wanted to pursue this spirit and connect the old days with the new era.”

Domination is within the metal world’s reach as PRIMAL FEAR premiere the official music video for “Tears Of Fire.” The track is once again taken from their forthcoming record, which was already hailed as “absolutely stunning” (My Global Mind) and “the strongest PRIMAL FEAR album in recent times” (Metal Planet Music).

After ascending with clear guitar leads, the song erupts for the first time before vocalist Ralf Scheepers calls out one of the struggle-packed verses in his unmistakable tone.

He explains the intention behind “Tears Of Fire”: “Heroic thoughts and words to make it clear that no one has to go through anything alone, but that there are always a few people by your side to go through thick and thin with you.”

But the presence of lament is of short duration: The energising pre-chorus lifts up those in sorrow and paves the way to the track’s hymnic chorus, leaving all of us looking into the future determinedly. Simply put: “Tears Of Fire” is another proof of the group’s world-class when it comes to writing ear-splitting music with a sensitive yet overall positive message.

Continuing the band’s successful collaboration with rEvolver and film maker Patric Ullaeus, PRIMAL FEAR also have shot a music video for their striking new single. The result picks up the lyrics of “Tears Of Fire” and shows the band in a rather dark setting combined with a hopeful blaze which portrays the song’s essence in a stunning way.

SONATA ARCTICA – Announce Headlining North American Shows

In addition to their previously announced support dates with SYMPHONY X, the legendary Finnish power metal band SONATA ARCTICA are pleased to announce five headlining dates on their upcoming North American Tour. Joining the band as openers on all dates will be the American instrumental band POWERGLOVE.

The band comments: “It’s been awhile since we last toured the US & Canada so it’s gonna be really awesome to come back and kick some ass once again. With our new album we made a return to Power Metal so you can expect to hear some favourites from the past that we haven’t played in years as well as some new stuff. See you all soon! “

INDUCTION – Premiere New Single & Music Video “Beyond Horizons”

Right on time for another exciting live adventure, rising symphonic/power metallers INDUCTION have officially released their latest single through Reigning Phoenix Music today. The track titled ‘Beyond Horizons,’ which already celebrated its live premiere during the band’s most recent European tour, will be a part of their forthcoming record, and is their first sonic sign after regrouping themselves in late 2024, resulting in the addition of singer Gabriele Gozzi, guitarist Justus Sahlman and drummer Markus “Maks” Felber.

Also accompanied by a new music video, “Beyond Horizons” impressively shows the wide range of elements INDUCTION’s creative work is driven by: Forcing triplet drumming and riffing, backed by epically flourishing synths and choirs, build the ground of a track that is both profound and jubilant. Empowering melodies and rhythms make “Beyond Horizons” not only an anthem of the warm season and a perfect soundtrack to everyone’s next concert or festival trip. Beyond Horizons” will once again be presented live to massive crowds during INDUCTION’s five shows supporting the mighty SAVATAGE this June.
