Power metal legends Masterplan have unleashed their new single and official video, “Through The Storm”, another taste of the upcoming new studio album, Metalmorphosis, set for release on June 26, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

The band commented: “We absolutely love this one! It’s pure metal, straightforward, energetic, and fun in its own way. The song was inspired by our experience playing metal cruises last year, including one crazy show on deck during a storm with freezing wind and heavy waves. That wild energy is exactly what this track is about. The video captures that spirit perfectly – we’re just having fun, but even tough conditions can’t stop us from playing and enjoying what we do.”

Grapow expressed his enthusiasm for the record: the first new songs since “Novum Initium”, released in 2013: “Metalmorphosis” really captures what this album means to us: a transformation, but still true to the spirit of Masterplan. Masterplan stand among the most enduring and influential names in German power metal. Founded in 2001 by guitarist Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch following their exit from Helloween, the band quickly established a distinctive identity built on strong melodies, technical precision, and an epic yet modern metal approach. 

Their self-titled debut album, released in 2003, was met with widespread critical acclaim and immediate chart success, setting the standard for a career defined by consistency and evolution.

Today, German power metal force BRAINSTORM are kicking off their upcoming tour run and celebrate the moment with a special release: their cover version of “Celebrate Youth” is now available digitally for the very first time! The track was previously only available as an exclusive CD bonus track on their latest studio album Plague Of Rats, released via RPM in 2025.

“With ‘Celebrate Youth,’ we chose a song that meant a lot to me personally in my early Youth,” Andy B. Franck reveals. “Yes, not a metal song but a song that perfectly reflected that era and my feeling as a young person of wanting to achieve a lot. Listening to the younger generation, giving them a voice… I don’t think I’ve ever really matured that much deep down, I’ve retained that feeling and still think and feel like a young guy. This thing rocks, and we had a lot of fun recording it. The Youth, then and now, needs to be heard and understood. This song is the perfect statement about that topic.”

The digital release follows the overwhelming response to the band’s cover of Don Henley‘s classic “Boys Of Summer”, which was released in August last year and quickly gained strong traction across streaming platforms.

ABOUT METALITE:

Formed in 2015 by guitarist Edwin Premberg and vocalist Emma Bensing, the band quickly gained recognition for its fresh and modern take on melodic metal and their 2017 debut album Heroes in Time set the stage for METALITE’s rise.

US Power Metal Kings DESTINY’S END Announce Archival Live Album, ‘Breathe Deep The Road’ (Live & Unreleased)

Metal fans, prepare for a sonic excavation. Destiny’s End, the influential US Power Metal supergroup featuring vocalist James Rivera (Helstar), has officially announced the upcoming release of Breathe Deep the Road’ (Live & Unreleased), a definitive collection capturing the band’s peak era. The album will be released on January 23, 2026.

Documenting the band’s legendary 1999 tour alongside Nevermore and Iced Earth, the album features six explosive live tracks, including the iconic “Breathe Deep in the Dark,” and a crushing medley of Judas Priest classics. In addition, the collection includes three never-before-heard studio tracks: a lost bonus track from the original 1998 sessions, a menacing King Diamond cover, and a powerful tribute to Dio. All tracks have been recently remastered for maximum impact by Andrew Lee.

To kick off the pre-order campaign, Destiny’s End will immediately release the first digital single, “Breathe Deep the Road.” Check it out here!

Power metal visionaries INDUCTION continue their unstoppable rise with the release of the electrifying title track and video “Love Kills”, taken from their forthcoming studio album Love Kills!, due out February 6, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

Feel the surge: “Love Kills” is a fierce anthem pulsing with raw emotion and unstoppable energy. The track captures both the pain and power of love’s downfall, celebrating the resilience that endures even after the flame seems to die. With soaring vocals, thunderous riffs, and cinematic emotion, “Love Kills” reminds us that even in the darkest moments, love’s light never truly fades.

Guitarist and Songwriter Tim Kanoa Hansen shares:

“Love Kills… but it’s never gonna die.’ This simple motto inspired most of Induction’s upcoming third album, which is why it became the title track. It’s deeply personal, full of raw emotion, but it also delivers a message of strength: life always goes on, and we are the masters of our own fate. No matter how dark the days, love will always return. As C. Joybell once wrote, ‘Love, I’m convinced, is found in the darkness. It’s the candle in the night.’”
