M-Theory Audio is proud to present a special 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of the classic comeback album by German thrash legends DESTRUCTION, All Hell Breaks Loose, on Nov. 28th. Originally released in 2000, this comeback effort marked the return of founding bassist/vocalist Schmier (Marcel Schirmer) after being absent from the band for over 12 years and the first official DESTRUCTION album since 1990’s Cracked Brain. It was also the return to a classic three-piece lineup and to the band’s Teutonic thrash metal roots.
Now reissued as a limited (400 copies) 2LP gatefold on tears of blood splatter vinyl. 5 bonus tracks are included on the re-release including DESTRUCTION’s cover of the Metallica classic “Whiplash” and 4 live songs from 2000, including standouts “Mad Butcher” and “Total Desaster.” Pre-order now HERE. Orders ship from US or EU based on where you live, to help avoid delays, damage and customs, tariffs.
Officially licensed from Nuclear Blast Records, All Hell Breaks Loose was produced by the legendary producer Peter Tägtgren (Amon Amarth, Celtic Frost, Sabaton). It features striking artwork from Joachim Luetke, who worked with the band on Release From Agony and Live Without Sense, as well as being known from his work with Dimmu Borgir and Arch Enemy. The album was well received by fans and critics alike and ushered in a career renewal that continues to this date.
Intense Indifference, the latest full-length from Swedish melodic death/thrash metal outfit VITTRA, is out today!
Intense Indifference follows VITTRA’s critically lauded debut, Blasphemy Blues, released in 2022, and centers on one’s own emotional journey, soul searching while simultaneously fighting an inner battle, all while presenting an untroubled, almost indifferent attitude. Inevitably, it all cracks.
In celebration of the release, the band has unleashed a video for opening track, “MOFO.” Comments guitarist Johan Murmester, “‘MOFO’ is the opening track of the new album and it sort of sets the tone for the whole creation. You got some thrash, death, and folk music vibes, and that music is about having fun!
“In the building where the recording studio is located,” he continues, “there used to be a research lab, now abandoned, that to some extend has turned into a film studio, where they do all sorts of movies and TV series. We got the opportunity to explore this environment with the amazing Snovonne during two days and the outcome is the video for ‘MOFO!’”
Watch the band’s previously released video for “The Leap” HERE.
Intense Indifference was recorded and engineered by Simon Johansson (Soilwork, Wolf), produced by Johan Murmester, and mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory (Lik, Bloodbath, Katatonia).
The record includes several guest appearances including John Lönnmyr (Night Flight Orchestra) who adds piano to “Transylvanian Buffet,” Bastian Thusgaard (Soilwork) who contributes the shaker on “Burn(h)er” and vibra-slap on “Transylvanian Buffet,” and Linus Öhrn (Valkyrja) who contributes backing vocals on several tracks. Cover art for Intense Indifference was created by Hjules (Accept, Destruction, Jungle Rot) and based on his own interpretations of the record’s lyrics.
Intense Indifference is available on LP and digital formats. Stream/order the record at THIS LOCATION.

Originally called Vildvittra, based on the characters created by Astrid Lindgren as part of Ronja Rövardotter [Swedish for Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter, a children’s fantasy book first published in 1981], their name later evolved into VITTRA, inspired by the mythical creatures appearing in Swedish folk stories. And while Swedish folk is a recurring theme weaving in and out of their music, the band is firmly rooted in melodic death and thrash metal in the vein of At The Gates, Dissection, and Megadeth.

URSAWRATH was founded by vocalist and bassist Adam Schaefer in September 2023 after relocating to Seattle to pursue music and form a new band. To recruit members, Schaefer recorded a four-song demo featuring early versions of “Thawed by Hell’s Flames,” “In the Abyss,” “Echo Chamber” and “Sentenced to Life.”
Shortly after, guitarists DJ and Lucas Robertson joined the fold, and the trio began rehearsing and refining material. Drummer Maximilian Onsager completed the lineup in spring 2024.
With the full band in place, URSAWRATH began writing new material and reworking the demo tracks, adding guitar solos, updated arrangements, and new drum parts. They started performing live around Seattle in May 2024 to establish themselves in the local scene.
The celebration still continues and the next tour is arriving soon! Who is excited to see Testament, Obituary, Destruction and Nervosa? Grab your ticket now, because they are selling fast.

Silver Lining Music will release No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All on November 14th. The first single is THE ALMIGHTY’s blistering, full-throttle cover of Metallica’s legendary “The Four Horsemen,” the band’s first recorded work with their founding lineup since 1991, chosen by the band as both a nod to their roots and a declaration of intent.
“The Four Horsemen by Metallica got us back into the studio with the original lineup for the first time since 1991… Unbelievable,” lead singer and guitarist Ricky Warwick exclaims. “When the opportunity presented itself, it was really a no brainer. Metallica has been a huge influence for us. It was a bit nerve-wracking because we had not been in the studio for such a long time. We did the whole thing in a day and a half with as much power and passion as you would expect from THE ALMIGHTY. It is such a powerful track. I think it turned out great, make sure you turn it up really, really loud!”
Watch THE ALMIGHTY’s video for their cover of “The Four Horsemen,” edited by Freakshot Film, HERE.
No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All is a colossal celebration of the most propulsive debut album in heavy metal history, reimagined by the legends who inspired it and the generations that came in its wake!
The veteran likes of SAXON, DIAMOND HEAD, and MOTÖRHEAD (three of Metallica’s favorite bands) are joined by rising stars such as TAILGUNNER and Swedish prog metallers SOEN to create a who’s who of heavy music, with each performer lending their unique sound to one classic track.
Contributions from thrash giants TESTAMENT, ex-Megadeth bassist DAVID ELLEFSON, and New Wave Of British Heavy Metal linchpins TYGERS OF PAN TANG show the label looking beyond their own artists to amass the greatest lineup possible. Joining the super star lineup are the legendary RAVEN (closing with the thundering anthemic “Metal Militia”) who were part of Metallica’s first-ever tour: 1983’s famous Kill ‘Em All For One venture.
No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All will be available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats. Find preorders HERE.

“There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional. Most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have traveled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them.
We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour. If there was ever a perfect time for us to put out a new album, it’s now. If there was ever a perfect time to tour the world, it’s now. This is also a perfect time for us to tell you that it’s our last studio album. We’ve made a lot of friends over the years and I hope to see all of you on our global farewell tour. Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years. We have done something together that’s truly wonderful and will probably never happen again. We started a musical style, we started a revolution, we changed the guitar world and how it’s played, and we changed the world. The bands I played in have influenced the world. I love you all for it. Thank you for everything.”
Following previously-released, stand-alone singles, “As Fear Unfolds” and a killer cover version of Ghost’s “Ritual”, Swedish thrash metal force MEZZROW have finally revealed the first details of their forthcoming new studio album! Entitled Embrace The Awakening, the band’s third full-length rager will be released on November 14, 2025 via ROAR.
Available on 2-CD Digipak incl. the Keep It True – Live bonus album, 1-LP Vinyl in Bloodred Sky Marbled edition as well as in Digital formats, the album pre-sale has just started at: https://mezzrow.rpm.link/embracePR
Today, the thrash metal torchbearers are presenting a video clip for their first official single taken off Embrace The Awakening, the brutal-as-hell “Architects Of The Silent War”! Singer Uffe Pettersson comments:
“We’re really proud of this one and it has all the thrash metal elements you can demand! Lyrically inspired by the dark and sophisticated world of the constant cyber war, and cyber attacks globally, which affects us all the time without us knowing anything about it more or less.”
MEZZROW built themselves a name in the thrash metal scene during the late eighties with their critically acclaimed demo tapes, Frozen Soul and Cross of Tormention. In 1990, they released their classic debut album Then Came the Killing, through Active Records (Candlemass a.o.), a subsidiary of Music for Nations. The album is still today considered as one of the best, if not the best, thrash metal releases from Sweden and Scandinavia.
During 2021 MEZZROW rose from the ashes, when bass player Conny Welén (ex-Hexenhaus) and singer Uffe Pettersson (ex-Rosicrucian) decided to make a new mark in the thrash metal world of today, together with new guitarists Magnus Söderman (Nightrage) and Ronnie Björnström (ex-Defiatory, ex-Aeon), as well as drummer Alvaro “Alvis” Svanerö (Imperial Domain).
Following their comeback album Summon Thy Demons (2023, Fireflash Records) and the much-acclaimed Keep It True – Live record, MEZZROW started writing material for their third album.
Eight new songs were later on chosen to become Embrace The Awakening, a Bay Area Thrash Metal monster made in Sweden! Uffe Pettersson says: ”We wanted the new album to sound a bit more straight forward without stepping away too much from Summon Thy Demons. We feel that we’ve achieved that and at the same time kept our roots intact!”
The Double CD will include the Keep It True – Live bonus tracks: 09. King Of The Infinite Void 10. Then Came The Killing 11. Beneath The Sea Of Silence 12. The Cross Of Torment 13. Summon Thy Demons 14. Ancient Terror 15. Through The Eyes Of The Ancient Gods 16. Frozen Soul

Time To Kill Records presents Chronicles of Despair, the debut full-length release from Italian thrash metal crew SLYTHER, announcing the album for release October 10th and issuing its cover art, track listing, preorders and lead single, “Visions”.
With a solid foundation of live experience already under their belt, SLYTHER stand out for their ability to revisit thrash metal tradition with energy and freshness, blending the classic attitude of bands like Metallica and Overkill with the irreverent crossover edge of acts such as Municipal Waste.
Chronicles of Despair is a powerful and visceral concept album that explores, track by track, the darkest tensions of the human soul and contemporary society. In a world marked by war, corruption, media manipulation, and existential crisis, the album unfolds a journey that moves from despair to inner awakening, tackling pressing themes with raw, direct, and emotionally charged language.
The journey begins with “Flask N’ Bone”, an intense narrative of self-destruction and remorse, portraying a corrupt lawyer haunted by guilt; a symbol of a conscience that finds no peace. From there, the album expands into a collective dimension with “Madness”, a denunciation of nuclear war insanity, and “Shut The Fuck Up”, a rebellious track targeting disinformation and the dominance of media power.
“Violent Fist” gives voice to the blind rage that fuels conflict, while “Visions” pulls the listener into the haunting realm of sleep paralysis; a metaphor for the unconscious fears triggered by global tension. The inner journey turns more intimate with “Memories”, a melancholic instrumental that evokes childhood recollections and lost innocence.
“Awake-4” marks a turning point: a painful awakening from nostalgia, necessary to confront harsh reality. The final chapter, “The Sleepwalker”, closes the album with a powerful allegory of insecurity and illusion, culminating in a clear and resonant message
“Awake from the lies, pursue the good, and never surrender.”
Chronicles of Despair is a scream, a reflection, and a call for awareness. An emotional chronicle of the afflictions of our time, yet also an invitation to inner resistance.
Track-list:
1. Flask N’ Bone 2. Madness 3. Shut The Fuck Up 4. Violent Fist 5. Visions 6. Memories 7. Awake-4 8. The Sleepwalker
Death/Thrash Metal stalwarts AVENGER OF BLOOD released a new EP earlier this summer. Ripping and ruthless, Revenge Is My Name takes no prisoners in an all-out assault as the band pummels and crushes everything in its wake.
Now the group shine in darkness with the release of their first-ever music video “Unraveling,” which gives the impression of AVENGER OF BLOOD performing the tune. Watch HEREhttps://youtu.be/Rp6hDYkG_Uk
“We had a great time filming the video and wanted it to represent what we are. We went with the black and white type format because it felt right, and since the song is quite dark it pretty much sticks to that formula,” explains drummer Shannon Frye.
Revenge Is My Name features four new songs from the re-energized quintet released on limited (200 copies) throes of ash colored vinyl, CD and digital https://lnk.to/avengerofblood
Originally hailing from the Bay Area thrash scene, AVENGER OF BLOOD moved down to Las Vegas after recording a couple demos. Capturing a deal with JCM Records the group issued their debut ‘Complete Annihilation’ in 2005 which put AVENGER OF BLOOD on the map and conscience of thrash fans worldwide. Several opportunities presented themselves to perform at festivals like Minneapolis Mayhem, Millennium Music Conference, Monsters of Metal and the Northwest Deathfest
Two years later AOB appeared on the famous Speed Kills… Again compilation, which featured then unknown names like Warbringer, Toxic Holocaust, Enforcer and Merciless Death, setting the stage for the thrash revival. The same label, Heavy Artillery, signed AVENGER OF BLOOD and released the classic album Death Brigade in 2008, which even featured cover art from Joe Petagno (famous for Motorhead, in addition to works by Krisiun and Sodom).
Momentum was halted when singer/guitarist Eric Greaney and bassist Shawn Loureiro left the group, but Shannon and guitarist Marc Flores have persevered by bringing in new musicians to keep the dream alive recording various releases, such as a split 7” with Witchaven, Spawn of Evil EP (2012) and the On Slaying Ground full-length (2016).
Now having a stable line-up for the past years, rounded out by singer Sal Lalli, guitarist Chris Garcia, and bassist Corey Sorrenti, the group even re-recorded the band’s debut last year calling it ‘Completely Re-Annihilated’ and performing at Blades of Steel Fest, alongside Flotsam & Jetsam, Vio-lence, Exciter, Jag Panzer, Massacre, Artillery and Riot V; as well as supporting Death Angel and Ruthless on shows in NV and CA. AVENGER OF BLOOD is ready to punish you relentlessly on Revenge Is My Name and are already starting to lay down a full-length for 2026.

New York thrash QUEMASANTOS is turning up the heat with their scorching new lyric video ‘Burning the Black’, a vision accumulated through time turned into a metal track that was born from grief, rage, and love. It emerged from the pain of witnessing cancer’s devastating impact.
“In the past, vocalist Nelson Diaz has always come up with the concepts for the music they’ve been writing. This time, I asked him to work under my concept, which was based on what I was experiencing at the time (which was during the time before my wife’s passing). He kindly agreed to do it, and I’m just happy with the way he performed and used all the material I gave him. He’s a true friend and a master of metal interpretation. I love him,” adds Ignacio Orellana (Bass/Guitars/Drums).
‘Burning the Black’ is an analogy to the process of receiving chemotherapy, which burns the cancer cells in the body. The concept for the track came to Ignacio Orellana while watching his wife fight cancer for six years, which tragically ended with her dramatic death. The lyrics are narrated from the perspective of death, constantly reminding you that it will take you and that no matter what you do, it’s inevitable. The music encapsulates the life cycle of a person, beginning with the gradual and transformative changes life brings and concluding in a manner reminiscent of its inception.
“On a personal note, this has been a brutal and devastating time, as well as strange to lose my life partner of 31 years. It still feels unreal. This song is essentially what I can translate from the experience of being there next to her and witnessing her decline from good to bad. I genuinely hope that people can understand it the way I’m trying to convey it. I loved my wife, and she will always be with me,” says Orellana.
Quemasantos is Nelson Diaz (singer and concepts) & Ignacio Orellana (bass/guitar/drums).
The guest musician for this track was Felipe Roa, the lead guitarist for metal bands Acaro and Shadows Fall (touring member). With extensive studio recording and touring experience, Roa has also owned and operated Boston Guitar Tech, providing professional services such as guitar setups, fretwork, electronics, and online and in-person lessons.
Vocal tracks recorded at Studios Ultrasonico, Santiago, Chile. Felipe Roa’s tracks were recorded at his studio. Mixed and mastered at Oily Sound Studios in New York City by Ignacio Orellana.
Denver, Colorado, a hot bed of underground metal in recent years, has birthed it’s latest breakout band, ARSON CHARGE. Melding thrash metal and hardcore punk, the five piece are selling out shows throughout the region as word spreads like wildfire across the country, without even releasing an album yet…until now. Today, the band announces the release of their debut record, A Dying Light, set for release on October 3rd with Anxious & Angry.
Commenting on the new record, vocalist Ben Roy says:
A Dying Light started off as an impromptu creative outlet for guitarist Justin Hackl after a series of serious health issues and extended hospital stays sidelined him for months. After working with comedian and musician Ben Roy on a couple of those tracks, both decided that there was the framework for an entirely new musical project. Enlisting the talents of drummer Cody Hull, guitarist Dave Sandoval and bassist Kris Hodgell, Arson Charge was born. Bringing together all their collective influences and styles, A Dying Light is a technical, aggressive and surprisingly cohesive meld of punk rock, thrash metal and hardcore. Lyrically it’s a catharsis; it’s a raw and real expression of the loss, self sabotage, fear and ultimately hope that we all experience, day in/day out, in our increasingly complicated existences. Again: Don’t fall in love. Get a pet or a fern or something.“
Along with the album’s announcement, ARSON CHARGE has revealed A Dying Light’s gripping first single, “A New Throne.”
Adding about the single, Roy states:
“‘A New Throne’ is about finally letting go of old friendships and endeavors that have ceased to be healthy and/or satisfying and setting out on your own in new and oftentimes, uncertain new directions. It’s about starting over in hopes of building something novel and more congruent with the self you wish to be.“
1. The Feeding Grounds 2. For The Damned 3. Cleanup On Aisle 10 4. One by One 5. A New Throne 6. There Was No Dog 7. 666 BC 8. The Aftermath 9. The Lark The Wolf and The Rabbit 10. Build a Fire 11. Bloodstains 12. A Dying Light
Arson Charge – Lineup: Ben Roy – Vocals Justin Hackl – Guitar Dave Sandoval – Guitar Kris Hodgell – Bass Cody Hull – Drums
About ARSON CHARGE: Rising up from Denver, Colorado’s prolific metal scene, Arson Charge is a five-piece behemoth made up of former members from mile-high area stalwarts Native Daughters, Chieftain, and Love Me Destroyer, and fronted by stand-up comedian, actor, and SPELLS lead singer, Ben Roy. Started with no intention beyond being the sum of its parts, Arson Charge is poised to turn heads with their unique blend of hardcore, thrash metal and punk rock. Keep an eye out for Arson Charge in your neck of the woods very soon.
After years of silence and anticipation, Brazilian thrash metal masters VIOLATOR are officially back with a vengeance. Their long-awaited new albumUnholy Retribution will be released worldwide, on September 5th, 2025, via Kill Again Records.
The video of the album’s first single, “Chapel of the Sick”, will drop on August 1st.
True to their roots yet revitalized by a long and intense creative process, Unholy Retribution captures VIOLATOR at their most inspired and ferocious. The band delivers a powerful and uncompromising collection of songs that revisit their trademark thrash metal with renewed energy and purpose. This is not a reinvention, it’s a reaffirmation of everything that made VIOLATOR a cult force in the global underground.
From the raw aggression of their breakout EP Violent Mosh (2004) and the now-classic debut full-length Chemical Assault (2006), VIOLATOR made their mark with a youthful urgency that took no prisoners. That same intensity is alive and well on Unholy Retribution, but now it comes sharpened by experience and delivered through more dynamic, tightly constructed compositions. The fire hasn’t dimmed, it’s evolved.
Line-up:
Poney Ret Crucifier – Bass,Vocals Capaça Bloody Nightmare – Guitars Cambito Chains Killer – Guitars Batera Bone Crusher – Drums
Musically, the album bursts with blistering riffs, tight rhythmic precision and an unmistakable sense of urgency. Groove-laden catchiness and flashes of technical brilliance keep the track-list flowing like a furious tide; unpredictable, violent and cathartic. The production matches this ferocity with a sonic identity that’s both organic and clear, yet unpolished in just the right way: a raw, analog-flavored mix that enhances every snare hit and guitar bite without sacrificing the band’s gritty edge. It’s a sound that feels live, alive, and undeniably VIOLATOR.
Lyrically, the band stays loyal to its mission: confronting injustice, exposing corruption and shining a harsh light on the rot festering beneath the surface of modern society. With Unholy Retribution, VIOLATOR continue to use their music as both weapon and warning.
This is the record that fans of early Vio-Lence, Kreator and Dark Angel have been waiting for, a no-holds-barred thrash assault, deeply rooted in tradition yet bursting with contemporary urgency. The wait is over. The retribution is unholy. And it starts now.

URSAWRATH was founded by vocalist and bassist Adam Schaefer in September 2023 after relocating to Seattle to pursue music and form a new band. To recruit members, Schaefer recorded a four-song demo featuring early versions of “Thawed by Hell’s Flames,” “In the Abyss,” “Echo Chamber,” and “Sentenced to Life.” Shortly after, guitarists DJ and Lucas Robertson joined the fold, and the trio began rehearsing and refining material.
By October, the band entered the studio to self-record their debut album Emergence, which features reimagined versions of the original demo songs alongside new tracks written collaboratively. With Emergence complete, URSAWRATH returned to the stage, continuing to build momentum as one of the most exciting new voices in progressive thrash.
