VADER – COVER ARTWORK AND TRACKLIST OF “TIBI ET IGNI” REVEALED

Polish Death Metal legends VADER just revealed the cover artwork for their upcoming album “TIBI ET IGNI”! Artwork was handled this time by a true legend of visuals, Joe Petagno (MOTÖRHEAD ect.)

VADER mastermind Piotr states:
“Joe is a Legend! Not just because he created (the) Motorhead logo or breathtaking artworks for many outstanding albums. Joe is over all times and his imagination touches the Hell itself…. and this is enough reason to ask him for painting “a Hellfire” for Vader’s new music. He accepted it and… made me so proud!”

Joe Petagno adds:
“They have been on my “get in touch” list for years. Finally we managed it and for a killer album very appropriately titled: Tibi et Igni.”

New Album In The Works For 2015 Release

French progressive metal keyboardist and composer, VIVIEN LALU, is ecstatic to announce his new official sponsorship by Roland Keyboards. Having relied heavily on the brand for his entire career thus far, this new endorsement is a major breakthrough for the artist.

ASKA – Confirmed As Friday Night Headliners For Warriors Of Metal Fest VII

Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to welcome back the only band to headline the fest three years in a row. Dallas-based Traditional Metal professionals ASKA, who headlined in 2009, 2010 and 2011, has officially signed on as the Friday night headliner for our 7th annual Warriors Of Metal Fest. ASKA will be supporting their sixth studio album, Fire Eater which was released through Germany’s Pure Steel Records in September of last year.

The 7th annual Warriors of Metal Fest will be held June 27 – 28 at O’Shecky’s LIVE Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio.

Band founder, vocalist and guitarist, George Call states: “When we here at ASKA were approached by the brain trust about coming back to Warriors of Metal and headlining Friday’s portion of the fest I said, ‘Awesome! Who do we gotta kill?’ Not because we actually wanted to kill anyone but you get the sentiment right? After all, who wouldn’t want to get back to, perform for and hang out with those beloved portions of our extended metal family that the Warriors of Metal Fest has come to represent? FALCONER have finished recording their new album, “Black Moon Rising.” The record will be released on June 6th! Music and more info coming soon.

The band offered the following comment: “So now the mix and mastering is done for BLACK MOON RISING. After having a break from the studio and then returning my first impression was: “Was it that much double bass drums?” I’m sure this album will compete with NORTHWIND as being my favourite album though they are not alike. The last album entirely in Swedish was really rewarding to do but I must admit it’s always great to be back where you feel you belong! Well, enough with the self admiration for this time.”

Producer Andy LaRocque had the following to say: “This is how Falconer should sound!”

It will be available soon in April. Digital version, just one track, is gonna be available too. The mix and some details are different then all you will find on the album in May. ENJOY … and call the fiery winds of Hell!!!!”

MICHAEL SWEET – The legendary Michael Sweet has released (March 4th – Big 3 Records) a grand new music video, I’m Not Your Suicide, which is also the title track of his forthcoming solo album. I’m Not Your Suicide carries a positive message to young people: that choosing suicide from being abused or bullied is not the answer and help is available to those being tormented.

Child abuse in all its forms must be addressed and Michael Sweet has succeeded in raising the awareness to this troubling social crisis, through his song and music video. A suicide crisis hotline number is also shown at the end of this music video: 1-800-4-A-CHILD.

I love this song, both for its incredibly positive message to young people and for its melodic and inspiring music. A brilliantly beautiful song is I’m Not Your Suicide. DELTA ROSE – SET TO RELEASE NEW EP!

(Rosemead, CA) – Rosemead Blues Rock Band, DELTA ROSE have completed their second EP and set for a late Spring Release. Frontman/Guitarist Spencer Krasch explains more when asked about the album’s influences:

“With this album, we were just going for Delta Rose! We were going with what was going to pick up the best rock tone, the guitars, and trying to find a way to capture our live sound and put it out on a CD and I think we did it!”

Delta Rose is widely known for their high energy larger than life stage presence with a dedicated fan base that is sure to pack their shows. Most recently they were nominated as BEST LIVE BAND for LA Weekly.

From the studio to the band, there is quite an amazing amount of talent put into this stellar album. The currently untitled album was recorded at the legendary NRG Studios and produced by Billy Schleifer and Isaac Hasson (Demi Lovato, Hot Chelle Rae), mixed by Steve Hardy (Blue October, Rush, Jay Z), and mastered by the legendary Howie Weinberg. The song “10 Long Years” features Dizzy Reed of Guns n Roses.

BENEATH – Icelandic Deathsquad To Release Second Album Via Unique Leader

In a few short weeks, Reykjavik, Iceland-based Death Metal squadron, BENEATH, will unleash the hellstorm that is their daunting sophomore full-length, The Barren Throne, once again through Unique Leader Records.

With an unrelenting fifty-three minutes of technical death metal cruelty through eleven new tracks, on The Barren Throne, BENEATH has sought to envelope melody, atmosphere and structure within its manic blastbeats and speed-picked guitars. The album evolves lyrically and conceptually around the idea of a being or entity that consumes and devours everything around it until it’s forced to consume itself. The follow-up to their Unique Leader-released 2012 debut full-length, Enslaved By Fear, the dynamic The Barren Throne is BENEATH’s first release with new vocalist, Benedikt Natanael Bjarnason, who joined the lineup in June 2013.

The album’s massive production was achieved by the Wieslawski brothers of famed Hertz Studios in Poland (Behemoth, Dead Infection, Vader, Decapitated), and the album artwork once again sanctioned to the masterful Raymond Swanland. The end result is a complex and procedural, yet dynamic album that rewards repeated listening. The Barren Throne will be released worldwide on April 29th.

Formed in the winter of 2007/2008, the members of BENEATH have all been active in the Icelandic Metal scene for some years, with current and former connections to Sororicide, Changer, Atrum, Azoic and Diabolus to name a few. After making their live debut supporting The Black Dahlia Murder in January 2009 and winning the inaugural Icelandic finals for the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle they became the first Icelandic band to perform at the Wacken Open Air festival in August 2009. More festival appearances followed, amongst others Death Feast Open Air in 2010 and Neurotic Deathfest in 2011.

In February 2010, BENEATH released their debut Hollow Empty Void EP on Mordbrann Musikk which landed them a record deal with Unique Leader Records. In 2012 the band released their first full-length, Enslaved By Fear, which was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand at Dug Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden.In 2013, singer and founder Gisli Sigmundsson left the band and was replaced by Benedikt Natanael Bjarnason (Azoic).

WWE NXT’s Charlotte Flair has used Spider Rocket’s (Heavy Rockin’ song) “GOING DOWN” as her entrance music when she makes her way to the ring. See video below.

She may not fly jets or ride limousines, but Charlotte — daughter of 16-time World Champion Ric Flair — may be destined for greatness. A latecomer to the industry her father helped revolutionize, Charlotte has kickstarted her entrance into her father’s profession and made a name for herself in NXT in very short order.

Displaying a level of athleticism that few divas in history can match, Charlotte has captured the attention of the NXT Universe in short order. What the future holds for Charlotte is anyone’s guess, but if history is any indicator, it will include nothing but the highest accolades and respect. The world will know her name soon enough.
