Long-running New York Death Metal merchants, PYREXIA, are back with a new slab of epic brutality set for Release via Unique Leader Records later this Fall. The ten-track Feast of Iniquity was recorded at New York’s Pitch Black Sound and mixed and mastered by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Kataklysm, The Red Chord, Crowbar, Municipal Waste, 3 Inches Of Blood et al) at Planet Z in Massachusetts, making it the most sonically punishing record of PYREXIA’s menacing catalog of chaos!
With the addition of Doug Bohn (Suffocation – Pierced From Within) on drums alongside Dave “War Machine” Culross (Suffocation, Malevolant Creation) and their signature assault of maniacal riff shifts, subterranean growls and devious groove, Feast of Iniquity is a threatening expulsion of true sonic venom and arguably their most pungent creation since Sermon of Mockery! Believe it.

Physical copies of the CD can be pre-ordered for October 10th delivery. A full list of outlets where the album can be purchased has been posted below.
REPTILIAN DEATH released posted studio footage of the guitar recording sessions for The Dawn Of Consummation And Emergence, which took place at Demonic Studios. Check out the footage below:
REPTILIAN DEATH has long existed in the shadows of the Indian Metal scene as the side project of Demonic Resurrection frontman, Demonstealer. The band spent their first 12 years making sporadic live appearances and changing line-ups fairly often. During that time, REPTILIAN DEATH had an almost humorous disposition, writing little spoof metal epics like ‘5 Easy Ways To Murder Someone’ and ‘Nursery Rhymes For Satan’s Children’ while balancing a handful of serious tracks which eventually found themselves on their 2004 debut, Total Annihilation. In 2006, the band’s direction took a turn for the serious with the release of their EP Intestinal Feaston the Defaced And Split album, which also featured Exhumation, Warface and Narsil.
Shortly after the release, the band returned to the shadows until resurfacing in early 2013. The band exploded on the scene completely metamorphosed into brand new beast. Fronted by Vinay Venkatesh (Bhaynak Maut), dressed in priestly robes with his face painted half black and half white and backed by a band of masked members, REPTILIAN DEATH has moved out of the shadows and into the forefront of the global Metal community. The world will now see The Dawn Of Consummation And Emergence.

Ordering info for the split and The End of Humanity can be found at the links below:
Formed in 2004, WARMASTER arose from the underground empowered by one demo and gained a rabid following. By 2006 the band extended to a full line up to play lots of gigs and festivals. WARMASTER debut album, First War was released on Dutch Metal Records in 2008. Many European live shows, followed and touring with bands like Grave, Jungle Rot, Sadistic Intent, Fleshcrawl, Zombie Inc. increased WARMASTER’s ever-growing reputation.
After some lineup changes and with newly found energy and creativity, WARMASTER recorded a new album and a split EP with Humiliation. The split EP is released in June 2013 on Deadbeat Media and Slaughterhouse Records. The 2nd full-length album, The End of Humanity will be out on October 30th, 2013. GOREGAST – Covered In Skin is a 2 song 7″ EP from Death Metal behemoths: GOREGAST. Releasing this week via FDA Rekotz, this EP from GOREGAST is worth it’s weight in torn-apart alien flesh that’s covered in gold. I’m not one to steer any Metal fanatic wrong; especially my Death Metal brethren. With a forthcoming album (GOREGAST’s fourth overall) due out in the Spring of 2014, Covered In Skin will keep fans of GOREGAST chomping at the bit all the more.
Both songs (Covered In Skin & Mindcreeper) are a reminder to me of how underground Death Metal is and always will be a dominant force; an extreme Metal force that cannot be restrained nor denied of its existence. With crunchy riffage, hellish vocals, insane drumming and eye-popping grooves, GOREGAST still manages to make both songs melodic. Death Metal nectar from the dark side is this EP.
This is a band and EP ALL Death Metal fans worldwide and in other unknown spatial dimensions MUST know about and buy into. For those already loyal to GOREGAST, there really is no need for my bloody persuasion. Metal be thy name.
From Chicago Illinois, the legendary BROKEN HOPE are a couple of weeks away from scalding our faces once again, with a new slab of their Death Metal! Metal be thy name!

Band To Begin Work On New Record; KickStarter Campaign Draws To A Close
_________________________________________
Tampa Death Metal icons OBITUARY will bring their brutal wares to the stage this Fall on a short series of live assaults. The tour begins with a pair of back-to-back shows at Brooklyn, New York’s Saint Vitus Bar on October 9 and 10, before flattening nine more venues through October 20. Having been holed-up in their own Redneck Studios the last few weeks penning the follow-up to 2009’s punishing Darkest Day full-length (2009), the shows serve as a temporary writing break.
Elaborates drummer Donald Tardy: “We have been busting our asses in the studio, having a blast and writing new material. Twelve songs are done and ready to be recorded but we want a monster album for our fans so we are working on a few more to make this record huge! We will continue writing until October when we will take a break from the studio and new music and go destroy the Trois-Rivieres Metalfest with Hatebreed and crush the US.”
The as-yet-untitled full-length will be recorded with the KickStarter funding help of their legion of dedicated fans around the globe. The campaign, rooted in an honest desire to produce the next record on their own terms, is in its final week.
“We’ve been creating death metal since 1984,” the band comments. “It’s who we are…it’s in our blood. If there’s one thing that we’ve learned touring all these years, it’s that OBITUARY fans are among the most loyal and supportive motherfuckers in the world! We’ve been trying to find better ways to engage with and give back to our fans. Over the past couple of years, we’ve streamed concerts live from around the globe, given away tons of merch packages and dozens of all-access backstage passes. It’s inspiring to see and share in your excitement about OBITUARY, and the inspiration that provides keeps us going. This is about putting our trust, our music, our career, and our new album in fans’ hands! We want to make music for the people who still come out to shows, still sport our gear, and still have a Slowly We Rot cassette in their car.”

Dark times are close indeed. For too long have mankind suffered under the rules of the Elite. It is time to spread the word of their Point Zero Solution.
Masterminded by award-winning director Patric Ullaeus (www.revolver.se); today Deals Death unveil the official music video for ‘Point Zero Solution’, the title track of their upcoming and much-anticipated album. ‘Point Zero Solution’ will be released via Spinefarm Records on 13th of September.
Watch ‘Point Zero Solution’ Here:
Guitarist and song composer Erik Jacobson comments: “Point Zero Solution introduces the factors that lie behind a weakened society, a failed state. The lyrics deal with our human behaviour and our quest for comfort and luxury, at any cost.”
A prevailing theme throughout, vocalist and lyricist Olle Ekman comments on the album as a whole. “It’s a step-by-step description of the process which breaks down the systems of nature and society, our false hopes, our credulity towards authority and the belief in eternal growth.”
“You cannot fail to be impressed from start to finish.” 5/5 – Brutalism
“Primed and ready to destroy with each and every song.” 10/10 – The Grim Tower
“Those who thought that Deals Death with ‘Elite’ had already reached their peak, are fundamentally wrong.” 96/100 – Ashladan
“Deals Death, ‘Point Zero Solution’, definitely has that special something.” 9/10 – Metal Temple
“The best Gothenburg album for a very long time.” 8.5/10 – Necroweb
“A huge leap forward in the quintet’s evolution.” 8.5/10 – Dead Rhetoric

Swedish Death Metal brutes OVERTORTURE will invade Germany next week for a series of shows dubbed the “At the End the Dead Await Tour 2013.” The action kicks off on September 7th in Mannheim with FLESHCRAWL, REVELIN FLESH and RAW.
OVERTORTURE – At the End the Dead Await Tour 2013:
9/07 @ 7er Club – Mannheim, Ger. w/ Fleshcrawl, Revel In Flesh & RAW
OVERTORTURE released their debut, At the End the Dead Await, to critical acclaim in January of this year via Apostasy Records. Selections from the record and ordering information can be found at http://www.apostasyrecords.com.
Featuring veteran players from GRAVE, COLDWORKER, DEMONICAL, and INSISION, it will come as no surprise that with At the End the Dead Await OVERTORTURE has created a work of overwhelming brutality, tempered only by a penchant for melody. Self-produced by the band and mixed/mastered by Ola Englund (SIX FEET UNDER), the album is made complete with the artwork of Gustav Germann (Guger Art) who has also worked with HAIL OF BULLETS and VOMITORY. Recommended for fans of BLOODBATH, GRAVE, VOMITORY, and BOLT THROWER.
OVERTORTURE – BAND BIO:
Overtorture formed in 2011 by Magnus Martinsson, Joel Fornbrant, Fredrik Widigs and Jonas Torndal, known from bands like Grave, Coldworker, Demonical and Witchery with the mission to deliver diverse Death Metal with both melody and brutality! Songs quickly came together and demos of some neck-breaking songs were put into final form in late 2011.
In March 2012 the band tapped Andreas Hemmander who’s an old friend and former band mate (Bloodride) of Magnus as second guitarist, and the line-up was finally complete. Shortly after the band signed a world-wide deal with Apostasy Records and started recording the debut album At the Endthe Dead Await.

CRITICAL PRAISE:
“Overtorture displays a lot more than most death metal bands coming out these days.” – Wicked Channel
“These dudes kill the mid-tempo death metal style, but also tear it up with some well dropped blasts. This record combines a nice mix of old school Swedish death with some new school slamming and some proper slow doom parts. The end result is a grooving piece of death metal for modern metalheads and old schoolers alike to rip to pieces.” – November 24th Spawned A Monster
“…At the End the Dead Await is worth hearing if you’re a fanatic for old bands like Grave and Seance, or more recent devotees like Feral, Mr. Death, Entrails, Corpsessed, etc.” – From the Dust Returned
Northern hyperblast kings KATAKLYSM from Canada know one thing for sure: to stay in the game you have to work hard continuously!
So these guys keep releasing awe-inspiring extreme metal albums regularly and seem to be on the road pretty much the rest of the time.
After the release of their latest studio album “Heaven’s Venom” (2010) and the massive anniversary live package “Iron will” (2012), their highly anticipated new record “Waiting for the end to come” will see the light of day on October 25, 2013 and it’s surely going to butcher the competition, once again.
Above: Eliran Kantor cover artwork
Above: Peter Sallai cover artwork
KATAKLYSM guitaristJean-Francois Dagenais helmed the production of this upcoming masterpiece of brutality and melody once more, while legend Zeuss (SUFFOCATION, HATEBREED and many more) took care of the mixing. The artwork by Eliran Kantor (TESTAMENT, HATEBREED) will be featured on the deluxe digipak and LP versions of their new album and the cover by Peter Sallai, who is known for his artworks done for SABATON, will be featured on the standard jewel case and limited edition cassette tape versions.
Check out this trailer previewing Peter Sallai´s cover and some brand new KATAKLYSM tunes below:
And KATAKLYSM wouldn’t be KATAKLYSM if they hadn’t already mapped out the next tour – they`ll embark on a European headlining run in January and February 2014 which marks their first tour on the old continent in almost 3 years, so all fans better buckle-up for this full-blown Death Metal onslaught which is about to gut Europe.
“It’s been almost three years since our last club tour in Europe and we are so excited to come back and blow off the roof of every club next January & February. We’ve built an album that will stand the test time and will need many headbangers, body surfers and mosh pits to give it justice and we are building a special show that you will never forget. This time, after almost a decade we have decided to tour the UK as well, after seeing the reactions at this years Bloodstock Open Air. There’s no doubt it’s time to come destroy. Raise your pints!” – Maurizio Iacono/KATAKLYSM
Supporting them will be Brazilian Death Metal veterans KRISIUN, who are working on their new and yet untitled album. FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE are also part of the billing and pose a special treat for sure! They mix brutal tech death with symphonic, opera-like arrangements. Their third album “Labyrinth” just came out.

Dallas Death Metal battalion CLERIC will crush the weak with their disparaging debut LP, Gratum Inferno, through their local cohorts at independent waxmongers Tofu Carnage Records this fall; the label now confirming the street date for the record as September 26th.
Formed by members of Kill the Client, Baring Teeth, and Tyrannosorceress, CLERIC fuses their old-school Death Metal aggressive tendencies here into a relentless attack, which their Gratum Inferno LP attempts to capture in full-force. Recorded by Garry Brents (Kill The Client, Phobia, Noisear) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Nails, Sleep), Gratum Inferno boasts nearly a half-hour of grating, Stockholm-bred but Americanized death through seven hymns of debauchery, bizarre, haunting and horror-soundtrack elements permeating from deep within its hellish core.
The platter is being pressed on 200-gram, translucent yellow wax with blood-red and milky clear splatter and features heavyweight spot-varnish printed jackets, gold foil-stamped inner-sleeve graphics, was mastered at 45rpm for superior sound quality, and bears insane cover art masterminded by JasonBarnett (Noothgrush, etc.).
Unload Gratum Inferno in its entirety at Cvlt Nation RIGHT HERE:
Stay tuned for the band’s hellfire-strewn first video to be released shortly. Additionally, CLERIC has locked down new live actions across Texas over the coming months with more being confirmed all the time. looking forward towards the turn of the year, they’ll infiltrate audiences beyond the region with more extensive tour plans… stay tuned.
MASADA – Kick-ass name for a Death Metal band? Um… okay. Check. Kick-ass cover artwork for MASADA’sHideous Rot EP? Check. Kick-ass city where MASADA calls home? It’s Philadelphia and… check. Kick-ass underground Death Metal that MASADA wants to punish ALL of our Metal community’s senses with? Check.
If all you crave is underground Metal and Death Metal is your obsession, MASADA’s bludgeoning wall of sound will no doubt beat your eardrums and any brain cells that are still functioning into a pulp! My Metal brethren, this is MASADA. No smoke or dumb-ass mirrors happening on HideousRot; just backwoods, back alley and dark as hell, retro Death Metal.
Fluteotherapy sounds like MASADA kidnapped the legendary Ian Anderson and kept him in a cellar, forcing him to play his flute while surrounded by piles of dead corpses. A macabre listen it is… freaky and psychotic. MASADA came up with it and it truly creeps me out. Cool.
Suffer Mental Decay is my favorite song. A sensational song title it is. It’s brilliant with all of its repulsive vocals and horrid vibes. Very cool. ToxicUnreality when played super fucking loud is like being hit in the face with soaking and scalding hot burlap bags. Aw hell, I’ve never really been hit with soaking and scalding hot burlap; only the description befits my Metal point.
Hideous Cerebral Pulp and Exist To Rot round out this Hideous Rot EP and both songs are like the spinning back kick to your face that you didn’t see coming. Both of these songs rage in their simplicity and this entire EP rages with its middle finger pointing right at expensive production costs. Let every Death Metal garage band know that there is a beacon they can follow to the dark side and it’s the underground disturbance known as MASADA. Metal be thy name.
MASADA HIDEOUS ROT – Track Listing:
Hideous Cerebral Pulp
Fluteotherapy
Exist To Rot
Suffer Mental Decay
Toxic Unreality
For all of you Metal trivia lunatics out there, I looked up the definition of MASADA and here it is:

The Witchhunt, the forthcoming 12th studio album from Death Metal pioneers MASTER, is now available for pre-order.

The album’s thick, massive production demonstrates the band’s superb musicianship and songwriting skills. This is an album that sees MASTER at the top of their 20+ year career. Artwork for The Witchhunt comes courtesy of ArtWars Media Design.
ZOMBIEFICATION – On May 14th of this year, At The Caves OfEternal, from Mexico’s ZOMBIEFICATION, was released in North America, via Pulverised Records. The first moment I caught news of this new ZOMBIEFICATION album’s imminent release, I was psyched-out to the Metal maximum! I’m even more psyched-out, now that I’ve been listening to this new offering of Death Metal from Mexico’s deadliest Metal band.
Last year’s Death Metal gem from ZOMBIEFICATION was (the) Reaper’sConsecrationEP and it landed on the Metal Odyssey Best Of list for 2012 Metal albums. At The Caves Of Eternal is guaranteed a position on this year’s list as well. ZOMBIEFICATION has once again created an album that bestows full-blown, evil, mind melting and groove saturated Death Metal.
_______________________________________
ALL 9 songs on At The Caves Of Eternal are on fucking fire with blackened approval from the administrative offices of hell… and I’m not exaggerating, my Metal brethren. ZOMBIEFICATION always seems to set me on the correct path to underground Metal loyalty; for this I’m grateful. ZOMBIEFICATION doesn’t do mathematical bullshit or use smoke and mirrors with their Death Metal; instead, this is Death Metal that reveres the classics of the genre’s past, fused with both extreme and melodic originality that barrels straight into your face with no remorse.
ZOMBIEFICATION already had me convinced they were a Death Metal band to be reckoned with among the entire Metal universe. With At The Caves OfEternal, ZOMBIEFICATION have illuminated their legendary status, while earning their rightful place as a Death Metal beacon for the Metal underworld. Metal be thy name.
Mumbai-based Death Metal outfit REPTILIAN DEATH has signed with OldSchool Metal Records for the October 10th release of the band’s second full-length, The Dawn Of Consummation And Emergence.
In 2006, the band’s direction took a turn for the serious with the release of their EP Intestinal Feast on the Defaced And Split album, which also featured Exhumation, Warface and Narsil.
Shortly after the release, the band returned to the shadows until resurfacing in early 2013. The band exploded on the scene and completely metamorphosed into a brand new beast. Fronted by Vinay Venkatesh (Bhaynak Maut), dressed in priestly robes with his face painted half black and half white and backed by a band of masked members REPTILIANDEATH has moved out of the shadows and into the forefront of the global Metal community. 6th Studio Album From These Chicago Death Metal Warriors Promises To Be A Killer!

BROKEN HOPE has revealed the title of their 6th studio release as Omen ofDisease. The album title, created by chief-lyricist, Jeremy Wagner, is also an actual album track, which marks the first official BROKEN HOPE “title track” since their 1991 debut album, Swamped in Gore.
Jeremy Wagner comments about this upcoming release:
“Some time ago, a festering Death Metal prophecy indicated something sick and brutal was coming back from the dead. The malignant signs became evident when BROKEN HOPE first resurrected from the grave and then went on tour. A more sinister foreboding followed when BROKEN HOPE wrote a new death metal album for the world to hear. Today, I’m a harbinger, here to alert everyone of a ‘Death Metal omen’ that is upon us…I speak of the new BROKEN HOPE album, ‘Omen ofDisease.’ The album title itself reeks of a musical offering that is nothing short of gruesome. ‘Omen of Disease’ will be released to infect everyone worldwide this summer. I promise: this death metal album is a most savage, feral, pestilential, and lethal creation. You’ve been warned…” – Jeremy Wagner
Omen of Disease is slated for a worldwide release this year, via Century Media Records. Stay tuned for more details about this new BROKENHOPE album coming soon!

Boasting an original, inventively dread-inspiring style of audio torture, Auckland, New Zealand-based Death Metal trio ULCERATE has completed the final stages of preparation for the pending release of their fourth horrific masterpiece, and first for Relapse Records.
Since their 2009 debut on Neurotic and two subsequent LPs through Willowtip, ULCERATE has strived to continually hone and contort their Death Metal attack, their sound ever-evolving into harsh new realms of turmoil, melding mechanical and organic elements into their haunting, blast-strewn explosiveness. A forward-thinking Death Metal style citing Hate Eternal, Gorguts and Immolation collides head-on into more dissonant and blackened infiltrations of Deathspell Omega or Portal, forming a monolithic anti-harmonic atrocity.
After signing ULCERATE last year, new label Relapse unveils the info on the band’s newest works as the album nears release late this Summer. After a year of writing and planning, the creation of the record came to fruition in March of this year when the band entered hometown MCA Studios. The nine passages harnessed during these sessions culminates into a nearly fifty-five minute document of the outfit’s most tumultuous craftsmanship yet, entitled Vermis.
Relapse will unleash the album on CD, double LP and digitally, now confirmed for release September 17th in North America, preceded bySeptember 13th in Germany and Benelux, and September 16th in the UK and rest of the world. Preorders have been made available here.
In addition to the title and street dates, today a new visual trailer along with the cover art for Vermis and more has been released. Check it all out now AT THIS LOCATION.
Additional propaganda, hymns and more on Vermis will be announced in the coming weeks in addition to new ULCERATE tour actions for 2013.
