After recording in Nashville at Sienna Studios with producer Kile Odell (Papa Roach, Nothing More) and singer Jaycee Clark, the band headed to New York to collaborate with video director Tom Flynn (Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage).
Max is best recognized as the lead guitarist of Falling In Reverse from 2018 until 2024. Prior to that he played with Escape The Fate, New Years Day, and Gemini Syndrome.

East Nashville hard rock breakout KALAMITY KILLS has released its brand new single “HELP!” through Pero Recordings. Recorded live in the studio with choice overdubs for impact, the track delivers a fierce reinterpretation of THE BEATLES classic. The band has rebuilt the song with their trademark intensity, emotional depth, and modern heaviness.
Produced and mixed by guitarist Jamey Perrenot, this new version of “HELP!” captures the urgency and vulnerability of the original while pushing it into a darker and more electrified space. Soaring vocals, heavy guitars, tight harmonies, and driving rhythms create a sound that feels both familiar and completely refreshed.
A new performance video has also debuted. The visual showcases the full band performing the track with raw energy and conviction, giving fans a direct look at the chemistry and spirit behind the release.
KALAMITY KILLS is a hard rock band forged in the heart of East Nashville, Tennessee. Peter Goalby was the lead singer of Uriah Heep, Trapeze and Fable and has now retired from the music industry after an illustrious career.
Peter had been living with the knowledge he’d recorded a solo album just after leaving Uriah Heep yet it was only when a poorly labelled DAT was spotted, at a storage facility over 30 years later, that the lost album was found.
The album was finished when his Uriah Heep bandmates Mick Box (guitar) and John Sinclair (keys) added the final overdubs to the tracks in 2025. The 9-track album was personally overseen (from tape transfer, mastering and artwork) by Peter Goalby.
Peter Goalby explained the background to the release: “In 1987 I was offered a recording and publishing contract with RAK Records just after I’d left Uriah Heep. I thought these songs would be very commercial in the 1980s and Smokie recorded Fallin’ Apart. I later found out the master tapes had been lost and I silently carried the disappointment that music I’d put my heart and soul into was gone forever. Never say never!”

This is more than just a studio project; it’s a statement of intent from one of rock’s most respected guitarists and his band of world-class collaborators.
Joel commented: “The songs were built from the guitar riffs up. Most of the riffs were written during the time I was filling in with Accept, so there is a heavier edge to this album overall. That being said, the album still would be more accurately described as melodic hard rock, not straight-up metal”.

New York guitarist Joel Hoekstra currently plays for Trans Siberian Orchestra. Joel is also well-known for his work with: Whitesnake, Cher, Night Ranger, the Broadway show Rock of Ages, his fill in work with Foreigner, Accept, his annual sets on the Monsters of Rock Cruise, recording projects like Revolution Saints, Iconic, viral collaboration videos with the likes of Dino Jelusick, Arnel Pineda, Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan and his acoustic shows with Brandon Gibbs.
Exhibiting a knack for music education, he has also been a frequent columnist for Guitar World Magazine, taught at Musician’s Institute, Rockstars of Tomorrow, Guitar Workshop Plus and often been a counselor at Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp.
Over the years, Joel has released three instrumental solo albums and three critically acclaimed albums with his side project Joel Hoekstra’s 13. Most recently, he was the guest guitarist on Dancing with the Stars (Hair Metal Episode) and played with Cher at her Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction and the SNL 50 Homecoming Concert.

Dead Groove signed with Cleopatra Records in 2024 and quickly made their mark with the release of their EP, Rubicon, Now, the band is set to unveil a brand new 7” single, dropping in conjunction with the Glenn Hughes “The Chosen Years” Spring 2026 U.S. Tour. This special release highlights Dead Groove’s upcoming track, a powerful collaboration with seven-time Grammy-nominated guitar legend Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, Kansas) and blues phenom Lance Lopez.
As an added bonus, the 7” will also feature an unreleased rare mix from the late, great Tommy Bolin—who was Glenn’s bandmate during his iconic Deep Purple Mk III era. As an additional appetizer, the multi-national quintet of Albanian vocalist Eugent Bushpepa, GOTTHARD’s very own Leo Leoni and Jgor Gianola on guitar, Mila Merker on bass, and Alex Motta on drums, have now launched their second single “Like It Or Not”. This track perfectly captures the group’s approach to both songwriting and live performance: CORELEONI give their all, and it’s up to the listeners whether they “Like It Or Not.” True to form, their hooks remain irresistibly catchy.

Live at Hallenstadion Zurich was recorded on July 3, 2025 at their show supporting the mighty JUDAS PRIEST and comprises 9 electrifying tracks. Including both covers of the rich GOTTHARD catalogue and tracks from III,CORELEONI’s first original effort which came out in early 2022, this new recording is essential rock ‘n’ roll: raw yet heavily rocking.
These history-charged 40 minutes simply had to be captured for eternity, not only for the 7,000 attending fans to relive the event yet also for CORELEONI’s and hard rock fans all over the world!

Australian hard rockers Greystone Canyon return with a powerful new single – a bold rendition of Thin Lizzy’s “Suicide”, available worldwide now. The track is the first glimpse into the band’s forthcoming album Something Borrowed…Something New, due out December 5th, 2025, from Rockshots Records, marking their most authentic and organic release to date.
Faithful to the spirit of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy’s timeless legacy, Greystone Canyon delivers a warm, punchy, and honest version of “Suicide”, enriched by their signature blend of melodic rock and gritty hard-edged groove. Frontman Darren Cherry, who also performed with Paul Di’Anno’s (ex-Iron Maiden) Australian touring band in 2024, leads the lineup featuring Richard Vella (guitars, vocals, keyboards), David Poulter (bass), and Sham Hughes (drums, keyboards, mastering). Together, they embody the spirit of traditional rock music, played with authenticity, precision, and passion.

Switzerland’s rock heavyweights GOTTHARD and Marc Storace (KROKUS) have joined forces for a brand-new version of ‘Liverpool’, one of the highlights and fan-favorite from GOTTHARD’s No. 1 album Stereo Crush.
The newly reimagined duet sung by two of Switzerland’s most remarkable rock voices, Nic Maeder and Marc Storace, is out now on all digital platforms. The song will also be featured on GOTTHARD’s upcoming mini-album More Stereo Crush, set for release on March 13, 2026, via RPM.
The song gains an extra dimension through the interplay of two of Switzerland’s finest rock singers. Chris von Rohr, founder of KROKUS and longtime producer and co-songwriter of GOTTHARD, once again joins guitarist Leo Leoni and the band to give this anthem the extra boost.

My Best Metal Buddy Scott Coverdale bought me this fantastic Lita FordLive &Deadly CD several years ago. He has gifted me some sensational vinyl, CDs and concert merch over the last couple of decades and yes, I have gratitude!
This CD was released via DEADLINE MUSIC (a division of Cleopatra Records) back in 2014 and has 13 of Lita’s songs performed liveby her and band. It’s hand numbered 138/1000. As stated on the Cleopatra Records website: Recorded live at “one of Lita’s favorite watering holes” in 2000.”
This CD is still available everywhere online, you can find both the hand numbered version and a more recent version with an alternate Lita Ford photo on the front cover. You can also find Live & Deadly streaming on Spotify or other digital platforms.
Live & Deadly bestows a fabulous production of Lita performing live, with her vocals, guitar and band sounding amazing. This is a necessary listen and/or buy to own for all Lita Ford fans. Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026.
“Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw and emotionally charged.
“It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily.
The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy and unapologetically heavy.
