Montréal’s PHOBOCOSM has released a new song off their forthcoming album, Gateway. “Unbound” marks the album’s second single. Stream it now at www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaA1nNAyQus
Dark Descent Records will release Gateway on CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats on November 28.
Gateway stands as an unrelenting and eldritch death metal opus that seals one chapter while unveiling the next. The album includes material from every songwriting period of the band, some of it dating back to the Deprived and Bringer of Drought eras, as well as Foreordained, of course,” explains guitarist Samuel Dufour.
Gateway was recorded, mixed, and mastered by long-time collaborator Xavier Berthiaume (Gevurah, Sanctvs) during the same session as Foreordained, giving the two records a consistent sonic throughline while allowing Gateway to close established narratives.
“We view it as the closing of a chapter for the band,” Dufour continues. “Not that our future material will be completely different from our existing material, far from it, but we have decided to do things a little differently next time around by adding new elements that haven’t appeared in our music before, exploring different dynamics and experimenting with a new tuning.”
Thematically, Gateway grows from ideas first explored on Foreordained: “The song ‘Revival’ from Foreordained inspired the album’s theme, which is the fact that humans have been trying to live forever – or to unnaturally prolong life – since the dawn of time, often for reasons even more absurd than the pursuit of eternal life itself,” elaborates Dufour.
“We used this as the main theme and pushed the concept further, exploring the most repulsive forms of cruelty humans are capable of, even when using science as a means to prolong barbarity against their enemies.”
Visually, the album continues PHOBOCOSM’s collaboration with Lauri Laaksonen (Desolate Shrine, Convocation, Pestilent Hex). “From looking at it, one can see that it is a gateway to something ominous, but what lies beyond is up to the listener.”
“After 12 years in Arch Enemy, we have parted ways. I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way. Thank you, Beastlings! I can’t wait to share what I have been working on with you all (with some big surprises in store). Stay tuned for big news in 2026 and see you very soon.”
From Alissa White-Gluz Facebook, regarding her new solo music video:
“I hope you love this first offering from my upcoming solo album. You can watch the whole video on my YouTube Channel.”
“The Room Where She Died is a song that feels truly satisfying to me; like I get to express myself in so many ways that have been dormant for years. This upcoming album is diverse; and I love the idea of opening up this new chapter with this song and video, which I wrote the script for.”
“Can’t wait to share more with you!”

RICHMOND, Va. – Lamb of God have released “Parasocial Christ” (https://lamb-of-god.lnk.to/ParasocialChrist), a relentless three-minute assault that once again pairs the Richmond metal titans with longtime producer Josh Wilbur. The standalone single follows “Sepsis,” which has dominated the U.S. metal charts for the past two weeks.
The song arrives alongside a stark, desaturated video directed by Jon Vulpine, whose unsettling visual style mirrors the track’s intensity as it captures a man’s descent into madness.
“The Information Age has birthed the attention economy, an industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars anchored in keeping eyeballs firmly glued to screens, thus generating ad revenue. Every second spent clicking and scrolling through the trivial and/or sordid details of other people’s lives, people that you will most likely never meet- celebrities, politicians, influencers- is another dollar in some already obscenely wealthy tech bro’s wallet,” Randy Blytheshares about the themes behind the track.
“You are a product, and you are being sold in a marketplace you have no share in. The irony of you reading this some social media platform or music news aggregator site is not lost on me; nevertheless I hope this song might make you consider who and what you give your attention to. Fuck the clickbait, put down the phone, go live your life- it’s waiting for you out in what’s left of the real world.”
The arrival of “Parasocial Christ” coincides with the on-sale for Lamb of God’s Spring 2026 North American tour, featuring support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Tickets and VIP packages are available now via Lamb-of-god.com/tour.
“We are beyond thrilled to announce the loudest, proudest, floor shakin’-est, earth quakin’-est, ear-splittin’-est, mosh pittin’-est, undiluted, undisputed HEAVIEST tour of the whole damn year,” Mark Morton said earlier this week as the band announced the trek. “Is this the largest collection of RIFFS ever assembled under one roof? It would seem so. Lamb of God, Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. Do not miss this shit.”

Manchester, UK; 21 November 2025:Offal Fest, dedicated to the most extreme sounds in gore, grind, slam and brutal death metal, has secured two monumental UK-exclusive headlining performances and unveiled its (nearly) full 2026 line-up.
Brutal slamming death metal pioneers Devourment are confirmed to headline the Saturday night, bringing a UK-exclusive set to the Manchester stage. Joining them as the Sunday headliners, making their first-ever UK appearance for a special exclusive performance, are Ohio brutal death metal powerhouse, Regurgitation.
The all-star international roster is significantly bolstered by the addition of New York brutal death metal legends ImmortalSuffering, who will be returning to the UK next year for an exclusive performance. Anyone who caught their incredible performance earlier this year already knows the sheer ferocity they bring to the stage.
Offal Fest continues its tradition of championing outstanding international extreme talent, welcoming a substantial wave of European and Asian heavy-hitters. This includes insane Italian talent with Unbirth and Inverecund, Butcher ABC from Japan and Fecundation from Korea. Guttural Slug from Denmark will return after their crushing live debut at the first iteration of Offal Fest, and the international bill is rounded out by Darkall Slaves hailing from France and Kakothanasy from Switzerland, both performing a UK exclusive set.
The line-up is also packed with outstanding UK and Irish talent, including the “wobble-box superstars” Crepitation, who will be headlining the pre-show, alongside Irish acts StrangleWire and one-man gorenoise chaos Lymphoeadema. Completing the UK contingent are OvulatingCadaver, Repulsed and Dissolving Entity, all adding to the ferocious three-day experience.
They join the previously announced mix of established and rising acts in the extreme metal scene. Scottish brutal death metal band Laceration, London-based brutal death metal band Twitch Of The Death Nerve, Czech brutal death metal band Epicardiectomy, Greek three-piece brutal death metallers Embryectomy, Glaswegian five-piece death metal band Scordatura, veteran US brutal death metal band Lividity, the long-awaited reunion of UK brutal death metal band Infected Disarray, Manchester newcomers Disgracing, who made their live debut at this year’s Offal and Manchester four-piece Brutal Death Metal band Coprocephalic Mutation will be returning to the fest in 2026.
Fans should note that while the full line-up is confirmed, there is one TBC spot at the bottom of the poster, with more information to be announced very soon on social channels; day splits will also be announced at a later date.
Rancid Offal Promotions, the team behind Goremageddon and Offal Fest, said: “We are excited to finally drop the full line-up for Offal! We knew we had to go absolutely huge this year, building on this year’s massive success. So, locking down Devourment for a UK exclusive and getting Regurgitation over for their first-ever UK gig is just insane. We’ve managed to pull in extreme talent from all over the world – Japan, Korea, Europe – alongside the best of the UK, Irish and local scenes. Get ready for three days of utter brutality next year in the new home of extreme metal; Manchester!”
Offal Fest 2025 was a sold-out success. The event featured the likes of Foetal Juice, 357 Homicide, a UK exclusive performance by Skinless, who performed their album “Progression Towards Evil” in full, a UK exclusive set from Begging For Incest, exclusive co-headlining sets by Defeated Sanity and Wormed, as well as exclusive performances from Imperious Mortality, Plasma, Cerebral Effusion and 55Gore.

West Coast heavy metal veterans Metal Church return with a revitalized lineup and a hard-hitting new single that underscores the sound that has driven their four-decade legacy. The new formation features founding member and guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, alongside longtime guitarist Rick Van Zandt, joined by bass icon David Ellefson, powerhouse drummer Ken Mary, and dynamic new vocalist Brian Allen.
Following the band’s recent tour and return from Australia, Metal Church found themselves at a crossroads. An unexpected spark reignited Kurdt’s creative drive, prompting him to reach out to the musicians who would ultimately shape the group’s next chapter. Their chemistry in the studio gave rise to the blistering new track “F.A.F.O.” – a song that immediately energized the band and inspired them to continue writing and recording. The new single was produced by Kurdt Vanderhoof and mixed/mastered by Zeuss at Planet Z.
Those sessions have now evolved into a brand-new Metal Church album, set for release in 2026 via Rat Pak Records. Additional details will be announced soon.
“After 45 years, the fact that we have new music coming in 2025 feels like a miracle. There was a time when I honestly didn’t think Metal Church would continue, but we’re back and this lineup is firing on all cylinders. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have a new single on the way; that alone makes this moment incredibly special. ‘F.A.F.O.’ is an aggressive thrasher, and I think the fans are really going to dig it, we certainly do. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be Metal Church,” explains Kurdt Vanderhoof.
Metal Church plan to tour extensively in 2026 and some festival dates have already been announced with more to come. All information on touring plans and links to tickets can be found at: https://www.metalchurchofficial.com

With renewed energy, a legacy spanning over four decades, and a rapidly expanding worldwide fan base, Metal Church remains a driving force in modern heavy metal. Still pushing forward, still evolving and still unmistakably Metal Church.
Independent black metal band PROFANE ELEGY has released their newest single, “And Then We Are Gone,” a haunting and doom-oriented meditation on the fleeting nature of human existence. The track represents a notable shift for the band, featuring predominantly clean singing and a somber, crushing atmosphere.
“This song was a fun switch up for us in that it is mostly clean singing and very doom oriented,” the band explains. “It’s essentially a comment on how we’re here one minute and gone the next and the world keeps turning. All we do and build in life snuffed out in a second without warning or meaning, the tragedy of existence.”
“And Then We Are Gone” is the latest preview of the upcoming album Herezjarcha, set for release on January 30, 2026. Like their previous work, the album was created through a fully remote writing and recording process that has become central to the band’s identity.
Herezjarcha Track Listing:
“Exeunt Omnes” – 4:57
“Haunted” – 3:31
“The Accuser” – 5:23
“As My Heart Turns to Ash” – 5:24
“I AM” – 3:49
“Immutable” – 4:13
“And Then We Are Gone” – 4:02
“Herezjarcha” – 5:57
PROFANE ELEGY began as a two-man recording project before expanding into a full four-piece and debuting live in late 2023. With members located across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the band relies on extensive file sharing and constant group communication to craft their music. This approach played a crucial role in bringing Herezjarcha to life.
With “And Then We Are Gone,” PROFANE ELEGY continues to refine their blend of bleak atmospheres, introspective themes, and evolving sonic textures, solidifying their place as a rising force in American black metal.
About PROFANE ELEGY
PROFANE ELEGY is a black metal band from Bangor, Pennsylvania, formed in late 2021 by guitarist J Gulick and vocalist Mikael L. Originally conceived as a two-man studio project, the band quickly evolved into a full lineup with the addition of bassist David G and drummer Sean M in 2023. What sets PROFANE ELEGY apart is their refusal to remain confined within genre boundaries, while rooted firmly in black metal, their sound incorporates elements of death, doom, and progressive metal, often enhanced by orchestral arrangements and clean vocals.
The band’s debut album When All Is Nothing (2023) was released independently and drew attention for its blend of atmospheric aggression and emotional vulnerability. The release earned praise for its ability to move fluidly between blistering speed and melancholic melody, with Doom Heart calling it “a massive Doom delight.” Following the album’s release, PROFANE ELEGY made their live debut and began performing across the northeastern United States, including a notable support slot for Dark Funeral in late 2024.
Lyrically, the band explores themes of nihilism, mortality, philosophy, and religious symbolism, often invoking figures like Satan not as dogmatic statements, but as metaphors in a broader spiritual and existential dialogue. Their work is poetic, introspective, and often challenges the listener to confront uncomfortable truths about life, death, and belief.
Their upcoming full-length album Herezjarcha, set for release in January 2026, represents the band’s most ambitious and expansive work to date. With a more dynamic sound, deeper orchestration, and a clear conceptual throughline, the record pushes their sonic and thematic boundaries further than ever before.
The album title, the Polish translation of the English word heresiarch (meaning arch-heretic), encapsulates the spirit of the band: rebellious, introspective, and unafraid to question the sacred.
Tickets for all shows in Canada and USA go on sale tomorrow, Friday November 21, 10am local time.

For over thirty years, Long Island, New York’s undisputed kings of slam, INTERNAL BLEEDING, have been stabbed in the back, suffered through terrible tragedies, and experienced frustrating setbacks, yet, they have not let these challenges define them. The pent-up anger, frustration, and feelings of betrayal of the past three decades have been crystalized and synthesized into their seventh album, Settle All Scores.
INTERNAL BLEEDING bulldozes everything in its path on these eight new tracks which are focused on those who have done the band wrong. It is a testament to the band’s resilience and strength in adversity. Prepare yourself; Settle All Scores is the most aggressive, slam-filled INTERNAL BLEEDING album to date.
INTERNAL BLEEDING’s Settle All Scores is out now on LP, CD, MC, and digitally through Maggot Stomp HERE.

Earlier this year, acclaimed Japanese metal vocalist and songwriter Saeko took a temporary step back from music to undergo major surgery. Now on a steady path to recovery, she is gradually returning to creative work and preparing to reintroduce her music to fans around the world.
While her long-anticipated mini-album, originally scheduled for release in 2025, has been postponed to early 2026, Saeko has released the 2025 Remastered Edition of her debut album Above Heaven Below Heaven, worldwide, on all digital platforms. The album was originally produced by Lars Ratz and Co-produced by Michael Ehré.
Due to the original multitrack recordings being unavailable, the remaster was carefully produced using the original CD source. Thanks to the expertise of V. Santura at Woodshed Studio (Germany), the new edition preserves the emotional core and sonic identity of the original while enhancing its overall balance and clarity.
Rather than a reconstruction or remix, this reissue offers listeners the chance to rediscover the work that launched Saeko’s international journey, a journey that saw her tour with Doro Pesch in 2004 and become the first Asian female artist to perform at Wacken Open Air in 2005.
Often hailed as a milestone for Japanese women in the global metal scene, Saeko’s debut album represents a unique cultural bridge between East and West, between deeply personal songwriting and the grandeur of European melodic power metal.
“It’s been over twenty years since I first recorded these songs,” Saeko shares. “Back then, touring with Doro and standing on the Wacken stage as a Japanese woman felt almost impossible, yet it happened. Now, after all these years, I wanted listeners to reconnect with that starting point before hearing how far these songs have evolved.”
Now, two decades later, it stands again as a bridge between the past and the future, leading to the upcoming mini-album that will feature three newly re-recorded tracks from this original work.

Baltimore (MD) – One-man Melodic Doom Metal outfit, Orchid Throne, has released “Dreamworld,” the first single and epic opening track from forthcoming debut full-length, Buried in Black.
Orchid Throne is set to release Buried in Black on January 9, 2026! The project consists solely of Nicholas Bonsanto (Lör,Empress, Helianthus, Barren) who performs the music, as well as producing, mixing and mastering the album.
After nearly 17 years of playing supporting roles in various bands, Nicholas Bonsanto (Lör, Empress, Helianthus, Barren) is proud to make his debut as a solo artist as the man behind Orchid Throne. Bonsanto not only wrote and performed all of the music for Buried in Black, but also produced, mixed, and mastered the album.
While not a concept album, Buried in Black weaves themes of anxiety, depression, fear of death, and the search for life’s meaning throughout its lyrics. The title describes both the music itself and the feelings that Bonsanto has kept buried within for years. It may sound bleak, but what is buried in black will be set free and brought to light on January 9.
“This album is a long time coming for me,” said Bonsanto. “For more than a decade, I collected little recordings of ideas in the hope that one day they’d be useful. I could not be more proud of myself for how the album came out and for all of the things I have learned along the way.”
Bonsanto’s Musical Journey to Buried in Black:
“As a musician performing in bands since I was 16, people who know me have seen me play a supportive role, and hear my musical contributions to my bands. But not everyone knows that I have always dreamed of releasing a record of my own. I am passionate about all kinds of music, and while I love playing in my current bands, doom metal is a big love that I long felt like I had no outlet for.
“While I’ve honed my songwriting abilities over the years, I began this project with zero knowledge of how to produce a record on my own. I introduced Orchid Throne to the world one year ago on my birthday with only one song done. Over the past year, I have finished writing, recording, and producing my entire debut record. I have finally achieved this goal and it’s even better than I ever imagined it could be. It means so much to me to get this out there, to truly reflect who I am as an artist, and I’m already excited to create more.”

Nameless Grave Records is proud to announce the CD re-issue of Metal Caído Del Cielo, the seminal 1985 EP from Mexican heavy metal legends Luzbel. This crucial piece of Mexican metal history will be re-released on Friday, December 12th.
More than just a record, Metal Caído Del Cielo is a cultural cornerstone that established the blueprint for heavy metal in Mexico. Founded by guitarist Raúl Fernández Greñas, who honed his craft during a period in England where he was part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) band Red.
Greñas returned to Mexico in 1982 and founded Luzbel, instantly setting a new standard for heavy metal in the country. The 1985 EP, originally released on the Comrock/WEA label, solidified their status as pioneers, delivering a raw, electrifying sound that resonated with a generation eager for homegrown metal anthems.
This 4-track EP became an essential document in the history of Latin American metal. The re-issue serves as both a historical document and a vibrant tribute to the original lineup, featuring the dynamic vocal performance of the late, legendary frontman Arturo Huizar (R.I.P. 2020).
Nameless Grave Records is honored to bring this foundational heavy metal work back into circulation on CD, allowing both long-time fans to own a definitive physical version and a new generation of global metal enthusiasts to discover the power and influence of Luzbel.
Luzbel’s Metal Caído Del Cielo CD re-issue will be available for purchase and pre-order on December 12th via the Nameless Grave Records store.

FUELED BY FEAR, the Zürich-based metalcore outfit, continue their momentum with “Godmade“, the third single from their upcoming EP Ordinary Evil (out January 30, 2026).
The band has announced an ambitious visual component to the campaign: three music videos will accompany the EP, with “Godmade” set to receive cinematic treatment in March 2026. “Godmade” drops on November 28th, 2025 on all streaming platforms.
The complete Ordinary Evil EP comes out on January 30th, 2026. With their new EP, Fueled By Fear deliver their most mature and uncompromising work to date. The five tracks move between dark groove steamrollers and melodically dense anthems – harder, more powerful and more forceful than all previous productions.
The band has sharpened their sound: hardness meets groove, tempo meets aggression, while melodic passages merge with modern pressure. The result is songs with enormous chorus quality and real sing along potential – dark, but irresistibly catchy.
BAND BIO: FUELED BY FEAR from Zurich have been combining the intensity of metalcore with the melodic depth of melodic death metal since 2011. The band manages to merge melodic passages with grooving rhythms into a sound that can both strike brutally and touch emotionally.
