BLACK STAR RIDERS – The third Black Star Riders studio album, Heavy Fire, will be released worldwide on February 3rd, 2017, via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
AFM Records is proud to announce the signing of Canadian Rock act DANKO JONES to a worldwide deal (except Canada). After having reached their highest chart positions to date in a handful of territories with their previous album Fire Music and having been awarded Gold & Platinum singles in Sweden, Danko return with their new masterpiece, Wild Cat, once again produced by Juno Award winning producer Eric Ratz. Wild Cat is due for release on March 3rd worldwide through eOne in Canada and AFM Records/Bad Taste Records in the rest of the world.
With Fire Music (2015), the predecessor to Wild Cat, Danko reached their highest chart positions to date in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Finland and also charted in another handful of key territories. The first single ”Do You Wanna Rock” peaked at #5 on the Active Rock radio charts in Canada, making it their highest charting single in Canada in their career. The song also received massive airplay around the globe. Danko Jones have never felt more vibrant or hungry than they are on Wild Cat. The 11-track album is a raw representation of the band’s collective musical history and influences, and without a doubt their most solid album yet.
Celebrating 20 years in the rock n’roll game in 2016, Danko Jones have an impressive resume to show for the past two decades. In addition to sold out headline tours across Canada and the European continent they have also toured the US, Brazil, Japan, Australia and South Africa and done extensive collaborations with a vast number of great artists. The Canadian trio has spent months on the road with Guns N Roses, Motörhead and Volbeat and opened up for The Rolling Stones and Ozzy. Danko was recently featured as a guest vocalist on the Volbeat track “Black Rose”, one of the most streamed songs on their latest album and he also joined Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Duff McKagan (GNR), and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) for a session with The Levee Walkers where he sang on two tracks.
The Wild Cat World Tour starts off with two shows in Finland in February and a series of shows in Europe in March and April. A Canadian tour and more European dates will be announced shortly, with other territories to follow.

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of an extremely promising Melodic Rock band from Finland, THE NIGHTS.
THE NIGHTS was formed in the summer of 2015 by Sami Hyde (vocals) and Ilkka Wirtanen (guitar). Both Sami and Ilkka have successful careers in music, in Finland and abroad. Sami has been a singer for many acts and projects, including the Tony Mills Band (SHY, TNT) in 2008 which also included Geoff Nichols (Black Sabbath) on keyboards and Neil Hibbs (SHY) on guitar. He has also written songs for many artists, including The Magnificent (“If It Takes All Night”, “Lost”, and “Drive”).
Ilkka Wirtanen is best known for his work as a producer with international acts like glam metal band Reckless Love, for whom he has produced four albums and co-written many of their popular songs, including “Hot” and “Night On Fire”. He has also produced several other rock bands (Baton Rogue Morgue, Hellcity Punks) and worked as a mixer for international acts (S.E.X. Department).
THE NIGHTS was formed because Sami and Ilkka felt a common need to write songs that “make you feel good and also give tribute to our everlasting heroes in music, for example TNT and Yngwie Malmsteen.” Frontiers interest was piqued by their songs featuring a superb mixture of classic pop melodies and modern melodic rock/metal production and the band was signed!
We are happy to announce that for the first time ever we will share one stage together for two exclusive double-headliner shows in the German-speaking parts of Switzerland with “special guest” Shakra.
Fans of Swiss Rock can look forward to two super concerts that without a doubt will go down in history. In the words of KROKUS founder Chris Von Rohr: “This is a big moment for us all. NEWMACHINE – the new project featuring Lonnie Vencent (bass), Ryche Green (drums), Tommy Williams (vocals), Lorenzo ‘Zo’ DelVecchio (guitar), and Polo Staber (guitar) has entered CVRS Studios in Florida to begin recording their debut.
The band signed a development deal with world renown producer / engineer Howard Lindemen (John Lennon, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, Kiss and more ) and Green Flash Management Inc. Lindeman will be producing and mixing the NEWMACHINE 2017 debut release.

EMN self released their 5 song E.P. ‘Grind’ earlier this year. ‘Grind’ includes ‘Loco Crazy’ which features a guest appearance by Zach MyersofShinedown on guitar and also features Wayne Swinnyof Salivaon guitar in the opening track titled ‘Snake’.
In 2017 HighVolMusic will issue the ‘Grind’ release with additional new material in an enhanced full length version, a possible title tweak and updated artwork. The deal could also include the release of additional music including new and/or unreleased material.
Forming in the early 90’s, EVERY MOTHER’S NIGHTMARE is no stranger to the music scene. Los Angeles, CA, October 5th 2016 – QUIET RIOT is very pleased to introduce Seann Nicols (formerly of Adler’s Appetite) as their new vocalist starting in 2017. Quiet Riot are currently in the studio with Seann recording their forthcoming full length album of all new material, to be released on Frontiers Records in early 2017. They will also be releasing a music video, which will be the first QUIET RIOT music video since 1989. The band will kick off their tour on January 27 in Medina, Minnesota and will continue their touring schedule around the globe.
Vocalist Jizzy Pearl who is departing to concentrate full-time on his solo career will finish off the 2016 QUIET RIOT tour dates through December. Frankie Banali says the departure is amicable. “QUIET RIOT thanks Jizzy for a great three years and we wish him the very best.”
QUIET RIOT is a rock & roll phenomenon. Famously described as the first Heavy Metal band to top the pop chart at #1 on Billboard magazine, the Los Angeles quartet became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album “Metal Health”. Zombie Rodeo is a Finnish, Helsinki based gritty Fuzz Rock Band. The band is now releasing a brand new EP named Cult Leader, through Inverse Records on November 18th 2016. This time both the music and vocals are much tighter and pronounced, than with the previous releases, with a more heavy, melodic and diverse feeling. As many of you know, we are preparing a tour to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of To Hell With The Devil. Although we’re extremely excited about this tour, our band and ministry is facing a crossroads for a variety of reasons, including some personal matters affecting our bassist, Tim Gaines that have affected the unity of our band.
As a result, upon the conclusion of this tour, we have decided to take a hiatus to allow each band member to think and pray about the direction of the band going forward.
We believe the right thing to do is to be open with all of you so we can continue on with integrity and put to rest any false rumors and accusations. We also believe we must honor our commitments in moving forward with the tour.
The name “Stryper” is very important to us. What (and who) it represents is even more important. We take what we do very seriously as a band and ministry and we believe it’s our duty to take this hiatus based on our faith, so we can move forward in the right way.
We do appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Dear friends,
To adress a few concerns regarding our most recent statement:
1 – Tim has not left the band.
2 – We felt the need to make a statement based on a multitude of emails, texts, private messages and phone calls. Because of this, we felt that the right thing to do was to make you all aware of the situation before the tour rather than start the tour based on false rumors, speculations and gossip. We respect you all and you mean everything to us so we wanted to at least present a statement that would put to rest (at least to some degree) all the here say.
3 – The tour IS continuing. We are NOT canceling or postponing the tour. We made this decision based on honoring our commitments, as originally planned, with the original lineup.
4 – Stryper is not breaking up. We plan to take some time after the tour to reevaluate things and at the right time, we will proceed. There is more planned and we are looking forward to that.
5 – As stated, we are a ministry every bit as much as we are a rock band. Because of this, we have to deal with things accordingly and biblically. We’re not perfect, but we are accountable to God and each other. At least we should be. That’s not to be taken lightly or passively.
6 – Before you comment and respond emotionally, please understand that we have thought, prayed, talked and counseled with others for weeks about the right way to handle all of this. Our decision to release a statement with the content that it contains was based on patience, wisdom and honor. We’re trying to do the right thing. That’s all we can do.
