VALHALLA Confirmed For Warriors Of Metal Fest VII

Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization has announced the return of one of last year’s most well-received performers. Fort Wayne, Ind., progressive metal act VALHALLA has been added to the already stacked lineup of Warriors Of Metal Fest VII, set to take place June 27  – 28 at O’Shecky’s Live Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio.

Guitarist Justin Zych states: “We’re excited to return this year and bring an even more exciting show to Warriors Of Metal Fest VII! And especially looking forward to jamming with our brothers in metal!”

February 11, 2014  Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is happy to announce that one of the most active Washington DC area female-fronted Power Metal bands, A SOUND OF THUNDER, has been confirmed to give an exclusive  Midwest performance at the 7th annual Warriors Of Metal Fest to be held at O’Sheckys LIVE Bar & Grill on June 27th and 28th in Columbus, Ohio.

Band vocalist Nina Osegueda states: “Playing at Warriors of Metal is a dream come true! I’ve wanted to play this fest for years, so I’m hella-excited to finally be able to not just play with these bands, but see them too!”

Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is pleased to announce that Pure Steel Records’ recording artists A TORTURED SOUL has been confirmed to play at the Warriors Of Metal Fest VII.  The Milwaukee, Wisc., dark power metal act will join a host of other premier metal acts at the fest, which is being held on June 27 and 28 at O’Sheckys LIVE Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio.

Band Vocalist, Rick Black states: “We are very happy to have the long-awaited privilege to ‘kill it’ on your stage at this year’s WOM Fest VII, and now even better, with the completion of our upcoming third album – which we will perform in its entirety along with a song or two from past releases – I say Horns-Up!”

Cincinnati, Ohio – Warriors of Metal Inc., non-profit organization is privileged to bring back one of our featured bands from 2010’s WOM Fest III Open Air. The reformed and re-energized Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania Power Metal band BEYOND FALLEN has been added to this year’s fest. The five-piece recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as an active band with the release of Machines of Corruption EP on September 7, 2013.

Band guitarist Steve Jasuilewicz states: “We were extremly pleased to have been invited to make a second appearance at the Warriors of Metal Fest.  It has been four years since we made the trip to Ohio.  We have had a some changes in the band but we’re looking forward to bringing our brand of East Coast Power Metal back to the Midwest.  We have a few things in the works for this year and plan on a performance that will be high energy, in your face and not soon to be forgotten. Warriors Of Metal is a great fest at which you get to see so many talented bands that you may not get a chance to see otherwise and the organizers are very easy to work with. It’s also a great opportunity to make new fans, friends and contacts. We are all excited to be a part of the show this year, June can’t come around fast enough for us and we all just want to say thanks for having us!”

Warriors Of Metal Fest – Releases Double CD 2012 Compilation

The Warriors of Metal, Inc. is privileged to announce that all the fans who will attend the 5th year anniversary of Warriors of Metal Fest Open Air this year on June  29th and 30th at Frontier Ranch in Pataskala, Ohio will receive a special 2012 Double CD Fest Compilation album, which is in pressing right now.

Additionally, thanks to the generous efforts of the WOM Fest European Street Team, 2000 of the Keep It True XV Festival attendees this year will also receive this compilation for free. This 158 minute Metal Monster was funded by all 36 participating bands from 5 different continents, mixed by the WOM Fest promoter Datis Alaee, and mastered by Thord Klarstrom at the 7th Gate Studio in Arvika, Sweden.

The layout and arrangement of the accompanying 16 page full color booklet was done by the WOM Fest organizer Lea Alaee.  All the artwork for this official Fest release was done by Dragonfyre Studios’ Wayne Smith and Frank Parr in Defiance, Ohio who also designed the soon to be revealed Fest poster and Fest T-shirt designs.

The 17 tracks on Disc 1 contain bands from USA, Australia (Taberah), Greece (Power Crue), Sweden (Gallows End) and Brazil (Machinage) and include exclusive pre-release tracks from: Power Crue (Lighten The Underground from Greece), Gallows End (Independent from Sweden) and American bands: Mystic-Force (Siegen Records), and Power Theory & Fiakra (Pure Steel Records).

The 19 tracks on Disc 2 contain bands from USA, Brazil (Woslom) & Jordan (Dragonrider) and include exclusive pre-release tracks from Seax & Iron Will from Massachusetts,  Lady Beast from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Last Alliance from Queens, New York, and Banshee from Kansas City, Kansas.

For the full track listing please see the back panel of the album bellow.  Also provided are the two interior picture collages that include a selection of Fest pictures from WOM Fest II (2009), WOM Fest III (2010) & WOM Fest IV (2011).

Tickets for the festival are on sale at the Fest website at WARRIORS OF METAL OPEN AIR FESTIVAL V. Weekend passes for adults (17 and up) are just $50 and Weekend 4-Packs for adults (groups of 4 people) are only $40 per person. Adult single day tickets are $30 for each day and $25 per person in a 4-Pack for a single day ticket. Teenager tickets (11-16) are only $15 for the whole weekend, Friday only or Saturday only. Kids under 11 get in for free. Camping is free and ticket buyers can also pre-order their Fest t-shirts at the time of their ticket purchase.

BENEDICTUM – Invades 2011 Warriors Of Metal Open Air Festival, This Saturday: June 18th

U.S. Heavy Metal powerhouse BENEDICTUM will take the stage on Saturday, June 18th at the Warriors of Metal Open Air Festival IV. The two-day (June 17-18) festival will be held at the Frontier Ranch in Kirksville, OH (about 30 miles east of Columbus) and also features Vindicator, Aska, Widow, Sacred Dawn, Shock Paris and many others.
