From Frontiers Music Srl:
BULLETBOYS‘ new album, “From Out Of The Skies” will be released on CD/LP/MP3 on March 23, 2018 via Frontiers Music Srl.
The first video and single, “D-Evil” features guest vocals from Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal. Of the song, vocalist, guitarist, and founding member Marq Torien says, “Jesse and I had an instant bond when we met and he did an outstanding job collaborating on the song with his vocals a welcome contribution.”
“From Out Of The Skies” was recorded at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606. “Writing and recording ‘From Out Of The Skies’ was a humbling experience and recording this unpredictable album at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606 was unbelievable and magical. Dave Grohl’s music got me through a very difficult time, so from day one I knew that we were in the right home to record. I was privileged enough to use one of Dave’s acoustic guitars to record with, along with a hand-picked drum set by Taylor Hawkins. I appreciate the opportunity to record there,” says Torien.
The BULLETBOYS began as a collection of talented musicians from high-profile bands such as King Kobra and Ratt. Using their credentials, they were able to quickly capture the attention of music fans around the world while front man Marq Torien emerged as one of the most underrated vocalists of the era.
The BULLETBOYS formed in 1988 at the very peak of the Los Angeles Glam Metal movement. With record companies constantly searching for new talent, they possessed a pedigree that most bands would kill for. Unlike the other glam rockers of the day, the BULLETBOYS were more Hard Rock and blues fusion than pure Hair Metal. Thanks to comparisons to the likes of Aerosmith and especially Van Halen, talent scouts came running and the band quickly received their first major label contract. Over the years, they have dominated the airwaves, and remain relevant to this day in heavy rotation on VH1’s “Metal Mania” and Internet and Satellite (SiriusXM’s Hair Nation, KNAC.COM, etc.) radio throughout the world!
Marq Torien – Vocals & Lead Guitar
Nick Rozz – Guitar
Chad MacDonald – Bass
Anthony “Tiny” Biuso – Drums

We are super excited to officially welcome our new drummer Anthony Tiny Biuso to the BULLETBOYS family!
“We have known Tiny for a very long time and are so excited to have him providing the major BOOM to this group. Tiny is now a “FULLY LOADED” BulletBoy and we look forward to having him rock out with us around the globe in 2018.” Says Marq Torien.
Tiny is no newcomer to the rock scene. Aside from playing with various artists, most will remember him with TSOL, The Dickies & HED PE. Anthony was born in New York City. He has played drums for nearly 35 years. His career has brought him to 35 countries and almost every single state behind the drum kit for some of today’s hottest rock and punk bands. He is an animal lover! People lover. And reality lover. https://www.facebook.com/anthonytinybubzbiuso/

BEHEADED are a Death Metal band from Malta and their 2017 studio album released via Unique Leader Records, Beast Incarnate, has kicked my Metal loving ass severely. BEHEADED can also be labeled as a Melodic Death Metal band as well; regardless, their sonic brutality is all that needs to be remembered as I give you the Metal details on Beast Incarnate. This album turned out to be one of my most favorite in a very long line of Death Metal album releases from 2017.
The opening title track, Beast Incarnate, I can easily choose to be the very best song on this album; however, this entire album is nothing short of Death Metal bliss. BEHEADED put together 8 songs that are insanely addictive if you love your Melodic Death Metal like myself. The guitar solo on Reign Of The Headless King resonates above the rhythmic blasts, a fine example of how no moment on this album is muffled, flat or low in production. The Black Death is a wonderful song that features wonderful blasphemous imagery, if you put your Metal mind to it like I do.
Punishment Of The Grave is the albums’ epic closer and showcases the brilliance that BEHEADED has musically offered to our Death Metal souls; an amazing song that highlights the bands’ guitarists and leaves me stunned. This album is a killer and as deadly as a cornered rabid sewer rat. BEHEADED have become a mainstay for my steady diet of Death Metal and I highly endorse Beast Incarnate. The vocals of Frank Calleja are incredible and this band has mucho talent from every Metal angle, in my Metal opinion. Metal Be Thy Name. – Stone

Spain’s ATARAXY are set to return next year with the release of When All Hope Fades.
The album comes on the heels of the 2016 “The Festival / The Tomb” single and marks the band’s first full-length since Revelations of the Ethereal (2012).
Dark Descent Records premiered album track “Matter Lost in Time” on the label’s most recent digital sampler. The nearly 11-minute exploration of doom-laden death metal immediately caught the attention of the press, including No Clean Singing, who described the song as “…spellbinding, in a chilling and disconcerting way – haunting, bleak and heavy, with tendrils of uneasy but seductive melody that glide like serpents, seeping poison.”
Stream the track HERE or below:
Dark Descent Records will release When All Hope Fades on CD, cassette and digital on February 16. Vinyl treatment coming through Me Saco Un Ojo Records.
With a certain maturity and poise, a sense of deep-set misery almost pushes the record into death-doom territory. Almost…but not quite. The sound remains tensely energetic, albeit with a sense of space, time and songcraft which is more impressive than ever.
Gruesomely textured wraith-like melodies intertwine monstrously hammering double-bass rhythms, the delicate interplay of guitar harmonies threading a perfect line between devious subtlety and straight-ahead bludgeon.
Perhaps above all else, the gasping tortured vocals imbue a horrific terror upon the listener. It is the sum of all parts which so masterfully elevate Ataraxy above their peers. Few others have scaled such heights; in this timeless classic we witness a band enter the pantheon of Death Metal royalty.

Few albums still feel relevant, fresh, and contemporary-sounding, ten-years after their initial release. THE OCEAN‘s Precambrian, originally released in November 2007, is one such case: the band’s most mature and versatile album to that date, Precambrian is distinguished by complex yet intimate songwriting, huge orchestrations, subtle electronic textures and immense harmonic and dynamic density. With guests appearances by Caleb Scofield (Cave In, Old Man Gloom), Nate Newton (Converge), Tomas Hallbom (Breach), Eric Kalsbeek (ex-Textures), and musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Precambrian remains a career-defining milestone for the band and a fan favorite.
To commemorate its release, Pelagic Records will issue a special tenth anniversary edition of Precambrian on March 16th, 2018. The 3xLP, available in three color variants, comes with a brand new studio re-recording of ten-minute opener “Rhyacian” featuring the current lineup of guitarist Robin Staps, vocalist Loic Rossetti, drummer Paul Seidel and bassist Mattias Hägerstrand.
For preorders visit THIS LOCATION.
In related news, THE OCEAN will revisit Precambrian during their headlining set at Doom Over Leipzig Festival on April 21st, 2018, where they will be performing the album in its entirety.

“Epic in scope and flawless in execution, Precambrian reinforces THE OCEAN as one of the most exciting names in modern heavy music. Behold mind-blowing metal on a Wagnerian scale.” 9/10 – Rock Sound (UK)
“Full of cinematic breadth and orchestral majesty, it’s easy to get lost in the album’s 80 minutes of rhythmic sea changes and powerful riffing. THE OCEAN excel in their idiosyncratic nuances and hammering insistence on this Teutonic paean to Earth’s geology.” 4/5 – Revolver (US)

Utopioid is the sixth full-length from Philadelphia’s ROSETTA. Written as a four-part song cycle that treads multipolar extremes of texture and dynamics, it reaches the highest heights and the deepest lows of the band’s career and serves as their most concept-driven work to date. An unflinching study of human aspiration, frailty, and betrayal, the album is equal parts mysticism and the band’s own biography, encapsulating and transcending their fourteen years of sonic experimentation.
Initially released earlier this year independently by the band, Pelagic will be releasing the captivating release on limited edition vinyl and CD. Secure your copy HERE.
Stream the record at THIS LOCATION or below:
Formed in Philadelphia in 2003 as a four-piece, ROSETTA‘s first two albums — 2005’s The Galilean Satellites and 2007’s Wake/Lift — pulled together elements from ’90s hardcore, drone, doom, and atmospheric sludge metal. Informed as much by the minimal soundscapes of Stars Of The Lid as by the pulverizing weight of Godflesh, the band’s compositions had a spaced-out, exploratory feel, appropriately dubbed “metal for astronauts.” 2010’s A Determinism Of Morality moved on from celestial themes, focusing on increased melodic sophistication while honing a confrontational urgency.
After concluding a decade-long partnership with Translation Loss Records in 2013, ROSETTA embraced their newfound independence with the self-funded, pay-as-you-wish album The Anaesthete. The darkest, most unsettling album of the band’s career also marked their greatest success so far, recouping costs in twenty-four hours and remaining the top-selling release on Bandcamp for nearly a month. 2015’s Quintessential Ephemera, ROSETTA‘s first effort as a five-piece, received widespread critical and audience acclaim for its energized guitar interplay and evolution of the band’s core sound.
With Utopioid, ROSETTA has again upended their stylistic palette. But as always, with ever deeper gratitude for the investment of fans around the world, they continue to search for the intersection of heaviness and beauty.
“Apparently when somebody is close to death by asphyxiation, they will experience a euphoric high as they begin to lose consciousness. A similar sensation may be felt by listening to Utopioid, a soundtrack for floating in the cosmos, without the risk of actually having to suffocate oneself-or, for those who happen to be an astronaut, without having to remove one’s helmet in the middle of deep space.” — Bandcamp Daily

Having grown with each subsequent release, Posthuman is a devastating addition to HARM’S WAY‘s catalog. “We’ve always stayed true to who we are and allowed the songwriting process to take shape organically from record to record, and as the band has progressed, our sound has become more refined with metal and industrial influences,” states drummer Chris Mills.
Guitarist Bo Lueders succinctly sums up what people can expect when they first spin the record, “To a HARM’S WAY fan, I would describe Posthuman as a blend of Isolation (2011) and Rust (2015), but it’s sonically way more insane. To anyone else, I would simply say it’s full on heavy and full on aggression.”
For a first preview of Posthuman, the single “Human Carrying Capacity” can be streamed at: metalblade.com/harmsway where the record can also be preordered in various formats.

Alba – Les Ombres Errantes (“The Wandering Shadows”) is the first full-length movie directed by vocalist/guitarist Emmanuel Jessua and his band, HYPNO5E, has turned down their amps, or switched them off entirely, to provide the stunning, seventy-five-minute soundtrack for the ambitious project.
Jessua grew up in Bolivia, where the movie was filmed with a team of seven French and Bolivian volunteers on a budget of only 22.000€. The result is a breathtaking sonic and visual journey through the otherworldly landscapes of one of the most intriguing places on earth; a journey that orbits around the memories and reflections of a man contemplating about the eternal loss of childhood.
View the trailer HERE.
For fans who are used to the technical post metal for which HYPNO5E is known, the band’s acoustic alter ego (featuring the same members), which also goes under the guise A BACKWARD GLANCE ON A TRAVEL ROAD, might come as a surprise at first. Fans of the band however are well aware that moments of folk and Latin have always been present within HYPNO5E‘s epic take on contemporary metal.
Alba – Les Ombres Errantes is a movie, an album and a cinematic live show in its original form soon to be seen live across theaters and stages in Europe.
The film and album will be released on April 6th, 2018 worldwide via Pelagic Records.

Seattle (WA) – Horror Pain Gore Death Productions are set to release Pasung, the sophomore album from Doom/Sludge titans BELDAM, January 26 on CD and Digital formats. New song “Vial of Silence” is streaming at youtu.be/emm4kEbWsVM or below:
Pasung is BELDAM‘s second release on Horror Pain Gore Death Productions and their first with new vocalist/lyricist Randall Guidry. The band recently relocated to Seattle, continuing their vision to play skull-crushing, soul-wrenching, paint-peeling Sludge with blackened touches. With influences ranging from Sleep, EyeHateGod, Graves At Sea, The Melvins and Black Sabbath, BELDAM combines a massive wall of guitars, thickened bass tones, bone-rattling drums and harsh vocals featuring lyrics building on the themes of death and despair. Pasung clocks in at 50 minutes of pure, unadulterated American Sludge.
Pasung was recorded at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville, TN, April 5-7, with additional tracking on August 31 and September 1, 2017. The album was engineered and mastered by Drew Carroll who recorded BELDAM‘s original 5-song demo in 2015. All guitars and bass on the recording were performed by Grahm Reynolds with the exception of “One from the Stable.” Cullen Wade handled the drums on the entire record. Pasung represents the truest BELDAM. The band focused a significant amount of time on songwriting and pre-production to get the heaviest tones and thickest riffs possible. After parting ways with their original bassist and relocating to Seattle, BELDAM is psyched to release Pasung to the masses and play as many shows as possible in its new Pacific Northwest home.
Track Listing:

North Carolina based Death Metal unit KROSIS is the latest addition to the Unique Leader Records roster. The band will release their forthcoming full-length in 2018.
Issues the band in a collective statement, “We are inexplicably humbled and thankful to be part of a family that some of our favorite bands have been a part of. To have Unique Leader Records see our project as something as worthwhile, original, and significant as we do means more than we can put into words. It is an understatement to say that we are looking forward to our next step as KROSIS,with Unique Leader Records at our sails.”
KROSIS was formed in Raleigh in 2014. A group of talented musicians and friends saw an unsatisfactory pattern starting within modern Metal music. The diverse collaboration of influences that make up the framework of KROSIS is why they put out the music that they do. Too much of modern Death Metal and Deathcore is limited to a paradigm; KROSIS seeks to eliminate boundaries. With backgrounds of rock, jazz, concert bands, and music theory, they pull no proverbial punches in terms of diversity, originality, and heaviness. They bring together many parts of a musical spectrum and emerge with an eclectic sound that proves appealing to lovers of heavy, themed music.
“We are all about creating new trends, fresh ideas, and even entirely unique genres,” the band notes. “Most of all, we’re proud to present every track, knowing that we gave our listeners and fans our absolute best. For some, living the dream is being in front of thousands, with lights and cameras aimed at them. For us, it’s each simple step along the way, each note and each beat, pouring our mind and soul into every creation, so that you can be a part of the experience with us.”
Stand by for further info on KROSIS in the weeks to come.

CANNIBAL CORPSE will kick off their US headlining tour in support of their upcoming Red Before Black full-length next week. The tour will commence on November 3rd and run through December 8th with support provided by Power Trip and Gatecreeper. See all confirmed dates below.
Many words come to mind when you hear the name CANNIBAL CORPSE, but one truly defines the soon-to-be thirty-year death metal veterans: Unstoppable. Produced by Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Goatwhore), Red Before Black, the band’s fourteenth album, serves to not only reiterate this but to once more raise the stakes, making it very clear who sets the standard when it comes to always compelling music that is equally brutal and complex.
Moreover, the band have pushed themselves again, ensuring that it stands out from their catalog. “Throughout our career we’ve tried to improve the precision of both our musical execution and our album production, while still maintaining full-on aggression. Red Before Black continues in that direction, but might go even further on the aggressive side of things,” asserts bassist Alex Webster. “It’s definitely precise, but it has a rawness to it that goes beyond anything we’ve done recently.”
“We really worked super hard crafting these songs, practicing them, and getting them where we wanted to be more so than on any of our previous albums,” adds drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz. “And as Alex said, musically I think it’s the rawest sound we’ve had – and at the same time I think it’s our most focused, tightest and catchiest record.”
Red Before Black will see release on November 3rd via Metal Blade Records. Preorder bundles are currently available at metalblade.com/cannibalcorpse where you can also preview the title track as well as the band’s video for “Code Of The Slashers.”

“The album roars with the classic GOATWHORE sound of searing shredding and screams of rage. The material also tries some new things, tossing in a bit of blackened atmosphere, adding to the philosophical questions the music dives into.” – Alternative Press’ 10 Best Metal Albums Of 2017 So Far
“Turning frowns upside down with metal steeped in gloom isn’t supposed to be a thing, but in incorporating more classic influences, GOATWHORE has (in)advertently offered Vengeful Ascension as a link between battle jackets and monk robes. 8/10″ – Decibel Magazine
