(Overnight Sensation/1996 – L to R: Phil, Lemmy & Mikkey)
PHIL CAMPBELL – Happy Birthday Phil Campbell! On May 7th, 2011, legendary guitarist Phil Campbell turns a stellar 50! Since 1984, Phil Campbell has been the guitarist for the world’s greatest, fastest and most persevering Rock ‘n’ Roll band known as: Motörhead. Thank you Phil for all the enormous Rock ‘n’ Roll you’ve created!
Phil was hired by Motörhead founder and ultra-legendary Lemmy Kilmister back in 1984. Former Motörhead guitarist Würzel was also hired at the same time. With the trio of Lemmy (bass & vocals), Mikkey Dee (drums) and Phil, Motörhead continue to be the lean, mean, Rock ‘n’ Roll machine in 2011 with NO end in sight!
