EXHUMED will hit the blood-soaked road with their new album, Red Asphalt, set for release on February 20th via Relapse Records.  

The masters of gore metal rev up and prepare for one of 2026’s most frenetic, unhinged slabs of sonic obliteration with a new video for lead single, “Unsafe At Any Speed.”

“We’re very stoked to be back in your earholes with Red Asphalt. Arizona thrash metallers INCITE will support Cavalera on the Morbid Devastation Fall 2023 Tour! The journey begins August 29th in Albuquerque, New Mexico and makes its way through over three dozen cities, coming to a close on October 18th in Los Angeles, California.

The Gore Metal merchants in EXHUMED will terrorize the West Coast next month alongside Death Metal veterans/labelmates Incantation. The tour commences February 22nd in Fresno, California and tramples its way through seven cities ending on March 3rd in Oakland, California. Direct support will be provided by Phobia. The journey follows the band’s appearance at the 2018 edition of 70000 Tons Of Metal alongside Cannibal Corpse, Enslaved, Goatwhore, and many others and comes in advance of their previously announced Grind Over Europe II Tour with Rotten Sound and Implore.

EXHUMED will be touring in support of their Death Revenge full-length, recently released via Relapse Records. Issues frontman Matt Harvey, “Our tireless efforts to worm our way into your ear-holes continues! We didn’t get to hit all the cities we wanted to since the release of Death Revenge, so we asked our buds in Incantation and Phobia to come out and rage with us on the West Coast. Death Revenge sees EXHUMED tread into ambitious new territory as their first concept album; a thirteen-part musical melodrama based on shocking true events. Elaborates vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey: “Since our van decided to blow up and we’re stuck in Alabama for a week, we figured we had time to book some fill-in shows for our longer-than-expected ride home. Titled Necrocracy, the offering was recorded at Arcane Digital Recording in Chandler, Arizona with Ryan Butler (Misery Index, Landmine Marathon, Phobia). All drums were tracked at Trench Studios in Corona, California with John Haddad (Hirax, Abysmal Dawn, Intronaut). Necrocracy will be unleashed by Relapse Records sometime next Spring.

EXHUMED – Frontman Matt Harvey Added to Death To All Tour 2012

EXHUMED frontman Matt Harvey has been added as a special guest lead vocalist to the all-star studded Death To All Tour 2012. Matt Harvey will be joining drummers Gene Hoglan (Individual Thought Patterns/Symbolic) and Sean Reinert (Human), bassists Steve DiGiorgio (Human/Individual Thought Patterns) and Scott Clendenin (The Sound of Perseverance), guitarists Paul Masvidal (Human), Shannon Hamm (The Sound of Perseverance) and Bobby Koelble (Symbolic), and vocalist/label-mate Charles Elliott of Abysmal Dawn/Bereft.

Harvey replaced Obscura vocalist Steffen Kummerer due to visa issues and had only 9 days to learn his entire set. Matt Harvey elaborates on the opportunity: “To say that I’m excited about hitting the stage with such amazing musicians would be a massive understatement. To say that I’m overwhelmed standing in Chuck’s spot singing his songs would be the understatement of the century. Phrases like ‘it’s an honor’ get tossed around pretty casually, but taking part in this unique celebration is truly exhilarating, humbling and magical for me. Even though the name of the band is Death, this event is a celebration of Chuck’s life and the vitality and staying power of his work. To be able to share what Death’s music has meant to me this way is a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I am incredibly grateful to have.”

Additionally, the concert organizers commented on Matt’s involvement: “The guys in the band, as well as the organizers and crew, want you to know Matt has been killing it! We are all very thankful for his efforts and talent, being able to pull this off on such short notice.”

Death To All 2012 is presented by Sick Drummer Magazine/Grind Percussion LLC and Perseverance Holdings Ltd – In benefit of Sweet Relief (sweetrelief.org). This five-city tour will feature a majority of Death’s amazing musicians, as well as special guests. This tour is to celebrate the life and music of Chuck Schuldiner, as well as to raise awareness of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund – a charity that provides financial assistance to career musicians faced with illness, disability or age-related problems. EXHUMED – Announce: Grind Over Europe Tour 2012

Following their first ever trek through Brazil with Aborted, California Goregrind ministers EXHUMED will spray their blood overseas next month on the Grind Over Europe Tour 2012. Set to kick off on February 24 in Barcelona, Spain, the band will mercilessly tear through 16 cities. Speakers will blow, ears will bleed, villages will crumble. You have been warned. The band will be joined by label-mates Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind.

Comments vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey: “We’re fully chuffed to have an opportunity to Grind Over Europe with a couple of our favorite bands: Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind! If you don’t like blastbeats, manic energy, beer, stage-diving, rhino charges, swinging thumbjumps or Scott Carlson bass grinds, do yourself a favor and stay the fuck home! This tour, in addition to being a screaming whirlwind holocaust, will single-handedly bring the phrase ‘play fast or die!’ back en vogue. We’re psyched to get to hit a few countries for the first time on this tour, as well as dust off some old and particularly short, fast, and loud numbers for the set. Our very first tour in ’97 was the Grind Over Europe II tour with Hemdale and Nyctophobic, so whoever said ‘you can’t go home again’ is obviously full of shit! Bring your studded vests, dreadlocks, Agathocles split EPs, and worn out old Napalm Death shirts on down to the show and let’s tear some shit apart! Cheers!”

EXHUMED: California Goregrind Legends Announce First Ever Brazilian Dates

Goregrind overlords EXHUMED are pleased to announce four Brazilian shows this Winter with Aborted. This will mark the band’s first time ever in the country. The short but epic run will commence on February 17, 2012 and hit Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre.

Comments vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey: “We are beyond psyched to head to Brazil for the first time. We’ve been getting letters and emails from folks down there for years and it is going to be awesome to finally be able to play for those maniacs south of the equator. MACABRE – Announce 2011 Summer North American Tour; European Tour Begins In April!

Murder Metallers MACABRE have announced a string of North American tour dates for this Summer, the latest in their ongoing Grim Scary Tour supporting their latest blistering full-length Grim Scary Tales. Set to kick off in late July, MACABRE will hit the road for two weeks as direct support for Gore Metal outfit Exhumed, and also joined by Cephalic Carnage and Withered.
