“Kintsugi is about the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling cracks with precious metals. We too can transform all ‘cracks’ – which represent both our weaknesses and the difficult times we sometimes are forced to face – into something that makes us stronger and more unique, without necessarily having to show fake perfection to the rest of the world. We are all human beings and, as such, we are not infallible”. – Chiara Tricarico, frontwoman & lyricist

The collection, which is available for pre-order now (https://store.toolband.com/product/TLLP002), features new artwork from Adam Jones, and is housed in a triple gatefold jacket with an exclusive poster.
Fear Inoculum vinyl tracklisting:

Quite possibly the era’s most highly-anticipated album, Fear Inoculum arrived in August of 2019. Debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200, the album earned heaps of critical praise with NPR saying, “Fear Inoculum was worth the 13 year wait,” Revolver proclaiming the album “a masterpiece to be dissected for years to come” and Consequence saying the release finds “Tool in peak performance.”
Earlier this year, TOOL released “Opiate2” (https://TOOL.lnk.to/Opiate2), a re-imagined and extended version of the 1992 EP’s title track and an accompanying short film, marking the band’s first new video in 15 years. The band also unveiled the first incarnation of Fear Inoculum vinyl, dubbed the Ultra Deluxe edition, the limited offering included five 180g vinyl discs emblazoned with a unique etching and accompanied by an elaborate pictorial booklet including never-before-seen artwork.
TOOL formed in 1990, releasing five studio albums: Undertow(1993), Ænima (1996), Lateralus (2001),10,000 Days (2006), and Fear Inoculum (2019); two EPs: 72826 (1991) and Opiate (1992), and the limited-edition boxset Salival (2000). Even after four steamy, liver-destroying, gut-stretching decades in the name of heavy metal, there’s no stopping the TANKARD beer crew. Just in time for the celebrations surrounding their fortieth birthday, TANKARD will release their new full-length, Pavlov’sDawgs, on September 30th. The record marks the band’s remarkable eighteenth album as well as their debut for the new label, ReaperEntertainment.
In advance of the record’s release, today TANKARD reveals first single, “Beerbarians,” proving that even after so many years they’re far from being old hat.
Comments vocalist Gerre: “We’re stoked to release our first single ‘Beerbarians’ — TANKARD-typical humor wrapped in a hard-hitting thrash sound with catchy hooklines. Listening in is mandatory! In this sense: carry the fire!”

“Beerbarians” is available on all streaming platforms. The matching artwork of the single was created by Cliff Knese.
The taps are polished, the Freibier is flowing, and TANKARD are finally back to what they do best five long years after their last studio album: Thrashing madly, drinking thirstily, and ever so cleverly intertwining metal, humor, and sarcastic social commentary into one big raucous ball of entertainment.
Pavlov’sDawgs, which was recorded and produced at Gernhard Studio Troisdorf together with producer Martin Buchwalter, will be available on CD, vinyl in various color variants, limited earbook with previously unreleased pictures from the last forty years of TANKARD, and as a limited box set which includes two demos on cassette.

RIVERSOFNIHIL released TheWork last Fall on Metal Blade Records. The band has never fit neatly into a box, but with 2018’s WhereOwlsKnowMyName, they transcended all labels applied to them. Returning in 2021 with TheWork, they’ve forged further into new territory, delivering an album that’s as cerebral as it is visceral, and that covers a staggering sonic range, definitively placing them in a category of their own. Inarguably a dense, heavy collection, TheWork is far too dynamic to be considered a solely metal record and there is a genuine warmth that shows through, particularly tracks like “Wait” and the gorgeous “Maybe One Day.”
Additionally, the band has incorporated far more clean vocals alongside the screaming that tears through many of the record’s heavier tracks. Courtesy of their friend Zach Strouse, saxophone once again adds extra layers of atmosphere to the collection, utilizing baritone, soprano, and alto saxes to great effect.
Symphony X will be making stops in Mexico, Brazil and Chile. Symphony X begins their 25th Anniversary Latin American tour in Rio De Janeiro on July 27th. Check out the tour flyer above for more info!

High octane thrash outfit INTENT have unleashed “Victims of Conquest”, the first single from their upcoming album Exile. Delivering ludicrous speed, fierce energy and dynamic instrumentation, the new track is a feast of ferocious metal.
Thebandcomments: “We are beyond stoked to present you with this first single from Exile: “Victims of Conquest”. We made sure to crank up the speed, intensity, and political outcry. You know, the way thrash was intended!”
Forming in Arizona in 2015, INTENT underwent line-up changes and spent time developing their sound before heading into the live scene. The outfit soon began opening up for bands like OVERKILL, DRI, and HAVOK to name a few. 2018 saw the release of their debut album Vox Populi, and now in 2022, Exile displays the thrashers’ hard work to cultivate the next era of their sound. LandingonAugust26th, 2022, the new album unleashes commanding rhythms and powerful lyrics.
Thundering through the tracks, INTENT‘s immense impact never falters. The thrashers awaken a dark mood that seeps through the instruments and vocals, with a focus on the rhythmic quality of the music. They also unveil a progressive edge across Exile through non-standard time signatures enhancing the chaotic atmosphere of the band’s compositional style.
Exile is a whirlwind of raging thrash metal. INTENT have thrown their all into this thrilling album, it’s a brutal journey that needs to be experienced to be believed.

MUNICIPAL WASTE will release the massively-anticipated 7th studio album, Electrified Brain, on July 1st via Nuclear Blast. The shocking cover artwork by James Bousema.
“It’s in the vein of songs like ‘Headbanger Face Rip’ and ‘Wave of Death’,” Tony Foresta notes. “It’s an inspirational song for our fans to cause bodily harm to themselves, but in a loud and healthy way, of course.”
“We’re not writing any love ballads to sell records,” affirms Tony. “We’re just doing what we’ve always done since the band started and that’s try to write loud, fast, and ripping hardcorepunkmetal. We hope you walk away with some bloody ears, blown speakers, pissed off parents, black eyes, and a healthy distrust of authority.”
Recorded in Philadelphia with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange), “Electrified Brain” is a high-voltage non-stop masterclass of neck-snapping thrash that’d be the ideal soundtrack for high-speed car chases and backyard steel cage matches as witnessed on the new track “Grave Dive.”

CREEPINGDEATH continues to tour in support of their most recent release TheEdge Of Existence EP, unleashed last year via MNRKHeavy. With a nod to crossover masters Iron Age, a bit of the tech-death of Cryptopsy, a foundation of forebearers Death, CREEPINGDEATH summons a vibrant sound somehow both familiar and fresh. TheEdge Of Existence EP further demonstrates the power, fury, and outright revelry at the heart of the band’s identity.
Captured at Homewrecker Recording Studio in Tucson, Arizona and produced and mixed by Ryan Bram (Gatecreeper, Bitter Rivals, Sex Prisoner), the six-song EP introduces three new certified hellraisers — “Relics From The Past,” “Humanity Transcends,” and the title track — alongside remade and revitalized versions of the three songs from the band’s 2016 debut EP — “Sacrament Of Death,” “Doused In Flames,” and “Skinned Alive.”
TheEdge Of Existence EP is available on CD, cassette, digitally and vinyl at THIS LOCATION.

CANNIBALCORPSE continues to tour in support of their critically adored ViolenceUnimagined full-length, released last year via Metal Blade Records. Comprising eleven tracks, ViolenceUnimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogues of the genre.
While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to CANNIBALCORPSE is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining bassist Alex Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse, and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four CANNIBALCORPSE albums (in addition to ViolenceUnimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process.
