Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026.
“Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw and emotionally charged.
“It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily.
The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy and unapologetically heavy.
Formed after Lily’s solo debut at Melodi Grand Prix 2022, Lily Löwe quickly grew into a full band featuring some of Norway’s top heavy rock talent: Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn), Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed), Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers) and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion). Their debut album LÖWE earned critical acclaim, and their upcoming release promises to push boundaries even further.
“Beautiful Disaster” is a sonic journey through power, vulnerability, and transformation, blending classic hard rock roots with modern edge. From the glam-punk riot of “Glitter & Gore” to the emotional wreckage of the title track, the album is “all killer, no filler,” according to the band.
Fans can expect more singles leading up to the album’s release, and a live show that’s as intense as the music itself, with raw emotion, heavy riffs, and hooks that stick.
“Haunted House” is available now on all major streaming platforms. Beautiful Disaster arrives February 6, 2026.
Twenty years ago, The 69 Eyes released what can be considered their biggest song to date: “Lost Boys.” This song was inspired by the 1987 vampire film classic: The Lost Boys. As stated by Cleopatra Records, “Lost Boys has become the band’s undisputed anthem, topping 20 million streams.” 💀
Now, “Lost Boys (20th Anniversary Version)” featuring Steve Stevens has been released via Cleopatra Records and is streaming on all the major music platforms. If you love the original, you’re gonna truly enjoy this redux with Steve Stevens’ guitar magic. I immediately put this new version of “Lost Boys” into my current song rotation and a couple of other playlists as well. It’s such a solid song for Halloween and beyond, from this legendary dark and spooky band! Happy Spooky Season! 🎃 – Stone
“Lost Boys (20th Anniversary Version)” was produced by Jyrki 69 and mixed by Cameron Webb. 👻
The original version of “Lost Boys” is on The 69 Eyes’ 2004 studio album: Devils. 👹

Finnish stoner/punk rock band Alkemia released their debut Alkemia EP via Inverse Records.
Alkemia’s debut EP recordings began in 2023 with drums, bass, and rhythm guitars tracked at the professional studio of Ammattiopisto Live in Espoo. The remaining guitar overdubs, solos, and vocals were recorded at the band’s rehearsal space in Helsinki.
The goal was to capture a live, groovy sound in the songs. Initial mixing difficulties were resolved by switching mixers, with the final mix completed by Ville Siikamäki. The EP aimed for a sound blending Eyehategod and Bad Brains, keeping the overall vibe raw and rock-driven without overly polished details.
The EP’s creation took time, as all good alcoholic, er, alchemical processes do. There was no rush, and the band worked around other commitments, as they noted in their press release.

The band has no concrete plans for the future. Only to keep playing and writing new songs. Some gigs are also lined up for the fall, including the EP release show at Playhouse Bar in Helsinki on November 1st 2025.

Indoor Enthusiast, the outstanding third record from TUESDAY THE SKY, the instrumental-driven project from guitarist Jim Matheos, arrives this Friday, October 24th via Metal Blade Records!
TUESDAY THE SKY has been described as a “beautifully weird solo project” by Sonic Perspectives, while Dead Rhetoric dubbed it a “kaleidoscope of atmospheric songs.” With eleven songs of pure Matheos-patented playing and passion, this year’s Indoor Enthusiast features Dutch drummer Dennis Leeflang on “The Nearest Exit May Be Behind You,” “Bend Toward Light,” and “Set Fire To The Stars.”
Matheos, famed for his work with progressive metal giants Fates Warning, alongside projects such as OSI and his collaboration with John Arch, Arch/Matheos, planted the seeds of TUESDAY THE SKY around 2016. The impetus came from a Fates Warning bonus track that Matheos felt didn’t fit for the band. He kept writing in that vein, and the result was TUESDAY THE SKY. The initial offering was 2017’s Drift, a record that drew influence from the likes of Brian Eno, Sigur Ros, Boards Of Canada, and Explosions In The Sky.
The second TUESDAY THE SKY album was 2021’s The Blurred Horizon, a mixture of ambient, electronica, post-rock, and more. The Blurred Horizon is perhaps best described as a beautiful record, having a natural grace to it. The closing track “Everything Is Free” is a cover of a Gillian Welch and David Rawlings song, and the only song with vocals, supplied by Tim Bowness.
Indoor Enthusiast is entirely instrumental, produced and mixed by Matheos, and mastered by Jacob Hansen.
Watch a visualizer for the track “The Nearest Exit May Be Behind You” HERE.
TUESDAY THE SKY’s Indoor Enthusiast will be available on CD and digital formats at: metalblade.comtuesdaythesky.
Mother Nature has a cycle of change and evolution that is inevitable. The moon’s phases change, tides rise and fall. Change is necessary for creation and rebirth.
It is with this in mind that, following the remaining dates on our current North American The Cult/Death Cult 8525 Tour, we have decided to step away from touring for an undetermined amount of time. We have toured extensively over the last few years and we shall now shift our focus to writing, recording new music, and exploring other projects that shall be revealed over time. It is a time for us to turn inward to recharge our spiritual batteries.
When we return to the stage, it shall be with an even stronger fire and energy that we will share with all of you. Ours is a communal bond, and it will not be broken, simply paused.
Until then, we have five remaining shows on this current tour, culminating at The Shrine in Los Angeles on Oct 30. Please join us for what has been an incredible celebration of 40 years of The Cult and Death Cult.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support. It keeps us alive.
“It’s been a beautiful three years celebrating our music with The Cult family around the world. Now it’s time to go home and spend time with our own families, and create some new music” – Billy
“My deepest gratitude to all who attended and immersed themselves in our world. I am deeply grateful to be connected to our Cult family as we ready ourselves for our final five shows for some time, and we take the opportunity to dive deeper into our next creative adventures. More shall be revealed. Blessings to you all.” – Ian

Celebrated Italian bassist, composer, and producer ALBERTO RIGONI, together with world-renowned virtuoso MICHAEL MANRING, proudly announce the addition of STUART HAMM to their upcoming instrumental progressive rock/ambient album Dystopia. With Hamm joining the lineup alongside drummer David Menoudakis, the project’s powerful ensemble is now almost complete. A famous drummer will be announced soon as special guest!
A pioneer of modern electric bass, Stuart Hamm has redefined the boundaries of the instrument through his visionary solo albums and collaborations with icons such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Frank Gambale. His signature blend of technical brilliance, melodic sensibility, and fearless experimentation adds a new dimension to Dystopia, enriching its sonic architecture with depth and intensity.

“When Alberto and Michael invited me to be part of Dystopia, I immediately felt the creative spark,” says Stuart Hamm. “The concept of three distinct bass voices blending and contrasting within the same musical vision is incredibly exciting. Each of us brings our own tone, feel, and emotion. It’s like a dialogue between different worlds of bass.”
The interplay among Rigoni, Manring, and Hamm highlights their unique sonic personalities, from ambient and melodic passages to aggressive and experimental textures. The album promises an immersive listening experience that showcases the expressive range of the instrument like never before.

The full album Dystopia is scheduled for release in the early months of next year.
A Digipack CD edition will be produced, and limited vinyl versions are also being considered. Rigoni is currently in discussions with several international record labels for the release of this new album.
Watch “Beware the Creatures” (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) HERE
Creatures were originally formed in the summer of 2019 in the city of Curitiba. Like most places in Brazil, the scene there is dominated by extreme metal. However, there are some small “pockets of resistance” carrying the torch for more of a traditional heavy metal sound and Creatures (along with a group called Trovão) is one of the most talented of the lot.
After having issued a few singles, Bart Gabriel offered the band a deal to release their debut album from 2021 through his former label, Iron Oxide Records. The follow-up Creatures II is now due to be released on High Roller Records.
Creatures II was recorded between September 2024 and March 2025 at Heavy Tron Studio, by Arthur Migotto (Hazy Hamlet). It was produced by Mateus Cantaleano and Migotto. Mateus Cantaleano wrote all the music and lyrics. The line-up on the recording was Marc Brito (vocals), Mateus Cantaleano (guitar), Ricke Nunes (bass), and Sidnei Dubiella (drums). There were also a few special guests, like Caio Vidal on keyboards and Arthur Migotto himself doing some additional vocals.
“Musically, I’d say the album is literally a mix of heavy metal and hard rock, with a darker, more evil vibe,” explains guitarist Mateus Cantaleano. “It carries what I believe is the essence of the band, dynamic songs that combine riffs with arpeggios, catchy choruses with darker minor melodies. Something like that, I think.”
Creatures were once described as a mixture of Dokken, Ratt and Judas Priest, a description Mateus Cantaleano can live with: “Absolutely, that’s true. Those bands, especially Dokken and Judas Priest, are very important in my life, and I carry their influence, even indirectly, in almost everything I do. Of course, I always aim for inspiration, not copying either of them exactly.”
ComparingCreatures IandCreatures II, the guitar player continues: “I’d say Creatures II is a bit heavier, darker, and a more mature album than its predecessor. While the first album was recorded just by me and Roberto, this time we had a full band involved. Both albums share the same essence – very dynamic songs, heavy tracks, power ballads, lots of vocal harmonies, catchy choruses, wild guitar solos, and so on. To me, ‘Beware The Creatures’ is the track that best sums up what I’m aiming for musically with Creatures.”
BLOOD VULTURE, a vampiric goth rock band created by Jordan Olds (2 Minutes To Late Night), has revealed a surreal new video for his single “Burn For It” (Feat. Brian Fair), starring SLEIGH BELLS’ vocalist Alexis Krauss.
Directed by Olds, the video pays tribute to 1981’s cult favorite psychological horror film Possession, and painstakingly recreates demonic scenes from the movie.
Commenting on the video, Oldsstates:
“The video is a homage to one of my favorite movies, Possession (1981). Almost every shot in the video is a recreation of a scene from the movie paced to the music. For decades, it was so difficult to actually watch the movie. It was banned in the US when it originally came out and then it wasn’t allowed on streaming for a long time. Now thanks to Kino Lorber and Metrograph, there’s tons of screenings and streaming services (including the free ones from the library) showing the full version.”
“I consider it to be one of the great masterpieces in alternative cinema with two of the best on screen performances of all time and my favorite camera work ever. This whole idea was basically a Trojan horse to get people excited about that movie again. I also couldn’t be more grateful to my friend Alexis Krauss for trusting me with this idea and giving so much time and energy to this. It takes a special kind of artist and a special kind of talent to find a way to be fully compelling for 5 entire minutes by themselves and Alexis is that kind of special.”
The new video for “Burn For It” is the latest from the insidious mind of Olds, and featured on his project BLOOD VULTURE’s debut album, Die Close, which is out now via Pure Noise Records. The hypnotic short follows previously released videos for “Die Close,” “Grey Mourning” (feat. Jade Puget of AFI) and “A Dream About Starving To Death.”
Luring listeners in with a mesmerizing melding of gothic romanticism, lush metallic vibes and brutal reckoning, BLOOD VULTURE’s initial offering Die Close features 10 haunting tracks perfect for the season at hand.
Catch BLOOD VULTURE on tour this month with GWAR, HELMET and DWARVES.
1. Die Close – Overature 2. An Embrace In The Flood 3. A Dream About Starving To Death 4. Grey Mourning (Feat. Jade Puget) 5. Entwined (Feat. Kristin Hayter) 6. Die Close – Interlude 7. Burn For It (Feat. Brian Fair) 8. The Silence of God 9. Abomination 10. Die Close – Finale

AboutBLOOD VULTURE:
This is the story of a vampire known as “The Blood Vulture.” A once-insatiable bloodthirsty abomination of a creature, he is now a recluse long locked away as he grapples with what it means to live forever in a world of impermanence. His tales of regret and grief and terror will be told from hereon through songs that meld the emotive vocal stylings of grunge’s golden era with death metal, goth rock, and doom metal.
2025 is another year that hasn’t been kind in the news department, with the passing of music artists. My condolences to the family, friends, bandmates and fans of Ace Frehley, affectionately known also as Space Ace and Spaceman. 74 years old is young, as I’ve grown and been reminded how precious life on Earth is.
Ace Frehley (birth name Paul Daniel Frehley) was a founding member and lead guitarist of KISS and highly successful solo artist during his post KISS career. What a career! Performing live consistently and recording albums that have endured an everlasting relevance to this very day, Ace Frehley kept his showmanship Rockin’ straight into 2025.
As I grew up in the mid 70’s through the 80’s, KISS had that wow factor from their personas to their accessible discography and everything in-between. Ace Frehley was the member of KISS I always wished had more songs featuring him as a singer.
Listening to Ace Frehley sing and play his magic on “Shock Me,” 2000 Man” and “Speedin’ Back To My Baby” will be on repeat for awhile now, as my fondness for this Rock icon has never been stronger. I’ll also play very loud Aces’ guitar splendor with the KISS classic: “What Makes The World Go ‘Round.” Plus, the albums of Frehley’s Comet will be bringing back good times memories as well, for the remainder of my life.
Thank you, Ace Frehley, and rest and also rock in peace. You were a major soundtrack to my life. That one time I saw you perform live, with your band Frehley’s Comet, I’ll continue to cherish and talk about forever. God Bless your soul, Space Ace. – Stone
Legendary guitarist George Lynch and his band Lynch Mob are set to release their highly anticipated final studio album Dancing with the Devil via Rat Pak Records due outon November 28, 2025, marking the final chapter in their storied career. Produced by Chris Collier, the album follows the success of their previous effort “Babylon” and showcases elements of classic Lynch Mob with a modern edge, fusing hard rock, blues, and soulful grooves with an unmistakable passion and energy.
Dancing with the Devil revisits the classic Lynch Mob sound: a potent mix of blues-based hard rock, razor-sharp guitar work, and soulful vocals, delivered with the swagger and confidence of a band that has nothing left to prove. Fans of the early Wicked Sensation era will find familiar fire here with this masterful completion of their musical legacy. Additionally, George Lynch has decided to extend the bands legacy further. Due to high demand for additional performances and the upcoming release of the final studio album Dancing with the Devil, George will continue to fly the Lynch Mob banner into the future with a trek of encore performances.
Toronto’s hardest-hitting rock ’n’ roll trio DANKO JONES are back with their explosive new single “Diamond In The Rough”, the latest cut from their upcoming album Leo Rising, releasing on November 21, 2025, via Perception, a Division of Reigning Phoenix Music and Sonic Unyon (Canada)!
The track is a high-voltage homage to classic KISS, supercharged by a blazing guest solo from guitar legend Marty Friedman (MEGADETH, CACOPHONY).
The band comments: “Channeling early Kiss, this is a favorite of mine, especially with the one and only Marty Friedman on lead guitar!”
“Diamond In The Rough” channels the raw, unfiltered energy of 1970s arena rock. Friedman’s fiery fretwork ignites the song, adding his unmistakable touch of guitar heroism that takes the band’s signature power-trio sound into overdrive.
Following the adrenaline-fueled singles “What You Need,” Everyday Is Saturday Night,” and today’s release of “Diamond In The Rough,” DANKO JONES’ forthcoming studio offering Leo Rising promises to be a masterclass in sweat-soaked, no-nonsense rock, produced to perfection by longtime collaborator Eric Ratz. Packed with razor-sharp riffs, thunderous rhythms, and infectious hooks, the album reaffirms that DANKO JONES are keeping rock alive by doing it better than anyone else.
John Calabrese laid down bass tracks from Finland, Rich Knox flew to Toronto to record drums, and Danko worked with producer Eric Ratz in the same city to capture vocals and guitars. Despite recording separately once again, the band’s chemistry is unmistakable. The result is pure DANKO JONES: tight, loud, and built for the stage.
Leo Rising may be their most electrifying and uplifting record yet, a jolt of high-octane rock made for packed clubs, open highways, and everything in between!
Leo Rising – Track List: 1 – What You Need 2 – Diamond In The Rough 3 – Everyday Is Saturday Night 4 – I Love It Louder 5 – I’m Going Blind 6 – Hot Fox 7 – It’s A Celebration 8 – Pretty Stuff 9 – Gotta Let It go 10 – I Can’t Stop 11 – Too Slick For Love

Oct. 9, 2025 – Death Cult laid the groundwork for the band we now know as The Cult, and in 2023, to mark the band’s 40th anniversary, Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, along with John Tempesta on bass and Charlie Jones on drums, revived Death Cult for a special run of shows.
Out on Jan. 16, Paradise Live is a 16-track live album that documents this rebirth of Death Cult. Recorded at the iconic Albert Hall in Duffy’s hometown of Manchester on Nov. 18, 2023, the release, which features no overdubs, will be available on 2LP, CD, and digitally. Two editions of the vinyl will be available: a black splatter edition available exclusively from the band’s webstore, and a white splatter edition will be available everywhere else: https://deathcult.ffm.to/paradiselive.
At the center of the night’s set was the hypnotic 1982 Cult single “Resurrection Joe.” One of many high points of the evening, it is available to listen to now: https://deathcult.ffm.to/resurrectionjoe-live.
The Cult’s first incarnation was Southern Death Cult, formed in 1981, releasing their sole, self-titled album posthumously in 1983. That same year, Death Cult formed, with Ian Astbury joining forces with Billy Duffy for a musical partnership that has endured for 40+ years. Death Cult became The Cult in 1984 releasing Dreamtime that same year.
Ian and Billy initially weren’t sure how many shows they would do as Death Cult, but the post-punk gothic futurists decided to listen to the requests to keep the fervor going. The next leg of shows begins tonight in Niagara Falls and continues to Oct. 30 in Los Angeles. These truly special evenings will have Death Cult opening for The Cult.
The Cult has enjoyed numerous international and U.S. gold and platinum certifications. Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy have released 11 studio albums over The Cult’s 40-year career. The band found international renown with the 1985 album, Love, which featured the enduring rock anthem “She Sells Sanctuary,” as well as the oft-heard follow-up single “Rain.”

I listen to music across a wide array of mediums, both physical and streaming. With that said, I’ve found myself listening on Spotify more this year than any other before it. With the ease of use and plethora of Metal choices, Spotify has been keeping me in the know. I’ve discovered more new bands, albums and songs like never before, due to the daily recommendations I receive from Spotify.
I actually feel spoiled with such easy access to my favorite music and yet I also feel gratitude. Technology can be more than a Pandora’s box as all the digital music platforms have proven. We’ve come a long way since those Napster days. Music is to be heard, enjoyed and not hidden from being celebrated. Spotify gives music to the masses, whether a user pays a monthly subscription (free from ads) or not.
My growing up during the late 70’s and into the early 80’s as a teenager in America had limited access to music on television; with MTV eventually changing the game. Beforehand there was American Bandstand, Soul Train and USA Networks’ Night Flight. I was a fan of all three! Had to be. It’s all we had for music on TV along with tidbits of related news.
The physical media was the mainstay back then, along with radio, of course. I never in a billion years could’ve foreseen such a remarkable future of music accessibility, via a hand-held phone, back in the day. That was Science Fiction back then. Star Trek stuff.
When it comes to how much artists are compensated from Spotify for listens, I have no clue. I’ve read about the negative blowback that many artists have toward the pay scale Spotify uses. All I can say, in my opinion, is you either use it as a means to get your music heard or you don’t. Admittedly, I will at times purchase physical music media based on what I discover from Spotify. This platform affords artists to sell merch from there as well.
On a side note, I have zero clue about how YouTube compensates musicians and bands. YouTube is easily the one digital platform I use the least for music. After I watch a newly released music video, I’m done, unless the video is worth my time to revisit. That’s just me.
I do know Bandcamp is honestly a tremendous platform for artists to make money; especially with the monthly Bandcamp Friday. I do love Bandcamp! I have purchased a nice collection of digital music, physical media and other merch over the years from Bandcamp. I so highly recommend checking out this platform if you haven’t already.
Thank you for visiting and reading about my thoughts on music streaming. I greatly appreciate all of you visitors! Please feel free to comment! Metal be thy name. – Stone
Italian/Swedish hard rock/heavy metal band Hell In The Club share today their new single and accompanying lyric video, “Robert the Doll”, ahead of the release of their new studio album, Joker In The Pack, out on November 7, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
Vocalist Tezzi Persson revealed the story behind the track: “The story of Robert the Doll originates from the early 1900s, when a young boy received a seemingly innocent handmade doll as a gift. Soon after, strange things began happening in the house. The doll was said to move on its own, its expression changing when no one was looking… Watching… Waiting.”
“Whenever something went wrong, the boy had only one explanation: “Robert did it”. Over time, fear took hold. The doll was locked away but never forgotten”, she continued. “Today, the doll resides in a museum in Key West, Florida. Yet, many claim his spirit still lingers. Visitors who mock or disrespect him report accidents, misfortune, and strange occurrences shortly after. So, be on your best behavior… and beware of Robert the Doll.”

Hell In The Club, a killer hard rock band with a style rooted in the classic ‘80s sound and its own modern identity, return with their seventh studio album, the first with Swedish singer Tezzi Persson.
The band stated: “This album marks a new era for us, the first chapter of a new beginning. Nine hard rock gems, plus a moving ballad, for an album that’s anything but boring. Intense, exciting, fun… in one word: rock! The wonderful cover artwork is by Alessandro Conti Mix and the master by the always excellent Simone Mularoni of Domination Studio.”
Founded by Andrea “Andy” Buratto (Secret Sphere), Dave “Damna” Moras (Elvenking) and Andrea “Picco” Piccardi, the band has carved out a solid reputation through six acclaimed studio albums, extensive European touring with acts like Crashdïet, Jettblack, and Crucified Barbara, and appearances at major festivals including Sonisphere, Basin Fire Fest, and Heineken Jammin’ Festival.
After signing to Frontiers Records in 2017, Hell In The Club released Hell Of Fame (2020), the KamikazeEP (2020, celebrating their 10th anniversary), and their sixth album F.U.B.A.R. (2022), a straight-up hard rock record hailed as one of their strongest to date.
Following the departure of founding vocalist Dave Moras, the band faced a turning point. Instead of replacing him with a similar voice, bassist Andy proposed a bold shift: introducing a female singer. Enter Terese “Tezzi” Persson (Infinite & Divine, Venus 5), a powerhouse vocalist from Sweden with a voice perfectly suited to the band’s raw, high-energy style. After a single rehearsal, the choice was clear.
In April 2024, Tezzi officially joined the band, debuting with the single “Carolina Reaper.” Momentum quickly built toward the creation of their seventh album: Joker In The Pack.
This new album is the first with Tezzi fronting the band and it captures Hell In The Club at their fiercest. Ten tracks of pure adrenaline, from the fiery opener “The Devil Won’t Forget Me” to the emotional closer “When The Veil Of Night Falls.”
With powerful vocals, gritty guitars, and driving rhythms, Joker In The Pack doesn’t reinvent Hell In The Club, it reinvigorates them, launching a bold new era while staying true to their roots.

Infinity Dream continues its ascent into the grand traditions of heavy metal with the release of their powerful new single, “Freeze” The track is the second single from their highly anticipated second full-length album, Silver Lining, set for release on October 17, 2025, via Nameless Grave Records.
Following last month’s “Lost Embrace” single, “Freeze” showcases the band’s mastery of atmosphere and dynamics. Majestic keyboards, harmonized guitars, and an anthemic blending of the mystique of occult rock with the hard-hitting power of classic metal.
For fans of Tony Martin-era Black Sabbath, Dio, and Rainbow, Infinity Dream crafts songs with emotional power and cinematic scope. Silver Lining promises to be their most ambitious work yet, pushing their sound into richer and more powerful territory.
The new single “Freeze” is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

St. Louis metal trio NEST, spearheaded by Scour and Agoraphobic Nosebleed bassist John Jarvis, will join Goblin Legacy for a special two-week run of live dates this November.
Goblin Legacy is an Italian progressive rock band renowned for their haunting and atmospheric film scores, particularly in the horror genre. Formed in the early 1970s, they gained international acclaim through collaborations with director Dario Argento, scoring cult classics like Profondo Rosso (1975) and Suspiria (1977). Their eerie, synth-heavy compositions became synonymous with Italian cinema and influenced horror soundtracks for decades.
Known for their feral intensity and genre-defying heaviness, NEST is dragging the shadows into the spotlight, one venue at a time. The journey begins on November 2nd in Houston, Texas and runs through November 17th in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Comments Jarvis, “We in NEST couldn’t be more thrilled to hit the road with Goblin Legacy, legends in their own right. This tour marks a new chapter for us, and we’re bringing fresh material that pushes our sound into wild, uncharted territory. Get ready for something raw, loud, and totally new.”

NEST will be touring in support of their Endeavors full-length released in 2024 via Housecore Records. Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, John Jarvis has constructed a repository for extreme sounds and emotions in NEST.
On one end of the spectrum, his grating riffs played with icy industrial precision and hardcore grit will leave you bloody, bruised, and breathless. On the other, his shoegaze hum bellows in a strangely soothing trance, bordering on blissful in the face of raw destruction. This vision takes shape like never before on NEST’s fourth full-length LP and Housecore Records debut, Endeavors.
A lifelong musician, Jarvis has quietly left his imprint on the underground as bassist for Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Fulgora, and Pig Destroyer. Moreover, his low-end shaped the sonic assault of Scour alongside a true murderers’ row of extreme metal luminaries fronted by Housecore Records founder and Pantera and Down vocalist Philip H. Anselmo.
Endeavors is available on CD, LP, and digital formats. Find ordering options at the Housecore Records webshop HERE or Bandcamp HERE.
Drawing on influences as diverse as Helmet, Hum, Deftones, and Quicksand, Jarvis formally introduced NEST with his self-titled debut in 2020 followed by Pretense [2020] and Tipping Point [2021]. Signing to Housecore in 2023, he personally wrote, recorded, performed, and curated Endeavors over the course of a week in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. He harnessed unbridled energy during the sessions, packing intensity airtight into a concentrated punch.
