Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization has announced the return of one of last year’s most well-received performers. Fort Wayne, Ind., progressive metal act VALHALLA has been added to the already stacked lineup of Warriors Of Metal Fest VII, set to take place June 27 – 28 at O’Shecky’s Live Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio.

Guitarist Justin Zych states: “We’re excited to return this year and bring an even more exciting show to Warriors Of Metal Fest VII! And especially looking forward to jamming with our brothers in metal!”

Benedictum vocalist, Veronica “The V” Freeman states: “We are so damned excited to play at the Warriors Of Metal Fest VII this year. It was a blast for me to be part of the crowd and announce a few bands last year as co-host of the event and be a part of that metal community, but it will be even better to actually play. Now, top that off with the fact that we will be bringing with us the talented and crazy Leather Leone of Chastain to jam some old and new Chastain tunes! Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to welcome back the Madison, Wisc., power metallers who rocked the Warriors Of Metal Fest III & IV Open Air shows in 2010 and 2011, the LORDS OF THE TRIDENT!

Fest organizer Datis Alaee comments: “Not only did this band inject a lot of fun into our annual summer festival but the band’s most outgoing and ‘vocal’ personality, Ty Christian has been a source of incredible support for us, showing up each subsequent year in 2012 right in the middle of the storm we were being hit with and 2013 with more and more metalheads from Wisconsin to enjoy themselves during our metal weekend in Ohio. Those friends have since become new festival fans who are becoming repeat attendees! That kind of support is very rare and very much appreciated!!!”

Band founder and vocalist, Lord Fang Von Wrathenstein states: “The LORDS OF THE TRIDENT are excited to be able to return to the Warriors of Metal fest, and do battle with all of the other true METAL bands and fans out there. Only the third California-based act in the fest’s year history, the Lion Music Recording artists will be supporting the release of their fourth studio album, tentatively titled Knights of Doom.

Co-founder/bassist Paul Shigo states: “We are honored to be invited to perform at the 7th annual Warriors of Metal Festival. We’ve kept an eye on this Festival and watched it continually grow since it’s inception. January 24, 2014 Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is excited and privileged to announce that Massachusetts-based, Eurocentric Power Metallers ARMORY have chosen the Warriors Of Metal Fest VII to host its first and only Midwest performance in 2014. The band will be appearing in support of their sophomore release, Empyrean Realm, which came out late last year. Much like the band’s 2007 debut, Dawn of Enlightenment, this album was released independently, but this time through the band’s own label, Metavania Music. Warriors of Metal Fest VII will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 27 & 28 at O’Sheckeys LIVE Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio.

Band founder, guitarist and studio drummer Joe Kurland states: “It feels great to finally play a show outside of the Northeast and the timing is perfect to showcase songs from our new album, Empyrean Realms! The Chicago-based band appeared as an 11th-hour replacement act for last year’s pre-fest showcase and will hit the main stage this year in support of their Stormspell Records release Onward into Battle. The Warriors Of Metal Fest VII will be held at O’Sheckys LIVE in Columbus, Ohio on June 27 and 28.

Fest organizer Datis Alaee comments: “Crusader was brought to my attention by the former Chicago Thrash Metal guitarist Alex Manske of Degradation who played their penultimate Live show at Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air in 2012 and upon contacting and subsequently booking Crusader for our Pre-Fest Showcase, I was really impressed with the way these guys re-arranged their schedules at the last-minute so that they could come down to Ohio and rock our socks off. And if that was not enough, they stuck around and supported ALL the other bands that played that night. They only left the venue because we were getting kicked out and by then most of the other bands who played that night were already gone. That was very impressive to me so right then and there I vowed to bring them back to Ohio so that they could play on our main Fest stage in 2014!”

CRUSADER drummer Colin Holmes states: “It’s an honor to be able to participate alongside such a great and growing lineup at WOM Fest for the last two years. We’re really looking forward to getting on the main stage this year hot on the heels of the release of Onward into Battle, our first full-length album through Stormspell Records.”

Cincinnati, Ohio – Warriors of Metal Inc., non-profit organization is privileged to bring back one of our featured bands from 2010’s WOM Fest III Open Air. The reformed and re-energized Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania Power Metal band BEYOND FALLEN has been added to this year’s fest. The five-piece recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as an active band with the release of Machines of Corruption EP on September 7, 2013.

Band guitarist Steve Jasuilewicz states: “We were extremly pleased to have been invited to make a second appearance at the Warriors of Metal Fest. It has been four years since we made the trip to Ohio. We have had a some changes in the band but we’re looking forward to bringing our brand of East Coast Power Metal back to the Midwest. We have a few things in the works for this year and plan on a performance that will be high energy, in your face and not soon to be forgotten. Warriors Of Metal is a great fest at which you get to see so many talented bands that you may not get a chance to see otherwise and the organizers are very easy to work with. It’s also a great opportunity to make new fans, friends and contacts. January 17, 2014 Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is excited to announce the confirmation of Maryland Power Metallers BURNING SHADOWS, whose awe-inspiring performance at 2012’s Pathfinder Metalfest V as a support band for the legendary Raven led to the Warriors Of Metal Fest organizer Datis Alaee to comment:

“I had known Burning Shadows for a while at that time since my friend Tim Regan had sent his band’s previous albums for air play on my Metal Messiah Radio show. But making our annual pilgrimage from Ohio to Georgia to support our friend Hoyt Parris with the 5th edition of his Pathfinder Promotions’ Metalfest series, Burning Shadows was a definite not-to-be-missed band for me and boy did those guys deliver!!! My neck was wrecked, my ass was kicked and my face was melted. Big kudos to Hoyt for such an awesome booking! After their performance I went over to my wife and said ‘We HAVE TO get these guys to our Fest!!!'”

Band guitarist Tim Regan states: “We are thrilled to join the lineup for Warriors of Metal Fest VII! It is a huge honor to be part of a festival that always brings together so many amazing acts. We are grateful to battle alongside so many like-minded bands, organizers and fans. January 17, 2014 Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is proud to announce that 2009 WOM Fest II Open Air veteran band from Parma, Ohio and Auburn Records recording artist, ETERNAL LEGACY, will be the headliner for this year’s Pre-Fest Showcase of Warriors Of Metal Fest VII which will take place on Thursday, June 26 at O’Sheckys LIVE Bar & Grill in Columbus, Ohio. ETERNAL LEGACY will be supporting the release of their third full-length studio album, Seeking No Peace.

January 10, 2014 Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is pleased to welcome back to Ohio for their performance during this year’s Warriors Of Metal Fest VII at O’Sheckys LIVE in Columbus, Ohio, the Meriden, Connecticut Thrash Metal band SHALLOW GROUND who melted faces, kicked asses and took names during last year’s Pre-Fest Showcase of Warriors of Metal Fest VI Open Air.

As Metal CD Ratings’ staff reviewer, Kit Ekman put it in his live review of last year’s event: “The Shallow Ground guys stuck around the festival all weekend long and were friendly and cool as hell. They supported other bands by buying their merch, shared their fruit salad with my wife, and could be seen up near the front of the stage rocking out to many other acts over the weekend. Good on ya, Shallow Ground.”

And Fest organizer, Datis Alaee adds, “It is indeed a joy to host such a band that genuinely supports their scene and their fellow underground Metal acts alike!

Band co-founder, guitarist and vocalist, Keith Letourneau states: “We are honored to come back out to Ohio , and Warriors of Metal again this year. We had such a great time last year that the minute we left the Fest grounds for our journey home we already started making plans for our return in 2014 whether we were gonna play or not! Well it’s next year and with this invitation I give my word to you all that Shallow Ground will bring the east coast old school Thrash that we are known for to everyone there in an unprecedented way!!! January 9, 2014 Cincinnati, Ohio – The Warriors of Metal, Inc. non-profit organization is very excited to announce the confirmation of Cincinnati, Ohio’s own premier Steampunk Power Metal band, AUTOMATON for the Pre-Fest Showcase of the Warriors of Metal Fest VII to take place on Thursday, June 26th at O’Sheckys LIVE in Columbus, Ohio.

AUTOMATON was personally introduced and endorsed by Lord Fang Von Wrathenstein of Wisconsin’s Lords Of The Trident (WOM Fest III & IV Open Air) to fest organizer Datis Alaee during the Cincinnati stop of their “Plan of Attack” tour of the Midwest in July of 2013. AUTOMATON will be the first Steampunk themed Metal band to grace the Warriors of Metal Fest’s stage.

Age of the Smokestacks, the lead single off the band’s Look to the Skies EP is now streaming below:
