Horror Metal act RABID ASSASSIN have been on hiatus due the horrific accident founder/guitarist Thane Farace suffered earlier this year. But that hasn’t kept them from working behind the scenes. The band is currently working on their next release titled ‘All Rise’ and have scheduled their first comeback show for July 16th in Laurelton, Pennsylvania. The band has taken their look and sound to the next level including adding drummer Todd Stansfield as well as a fifth member for their theatrical stage show known as Jesseca Rabid.

WARFATHER has released the artwork and track listing for forthcoming sophomore album The Grey Eminence. The album will be released September 16 on Greyhaze Records. Pre-order it at this location.

Featuring Steve Tucker (MORBID ANGEL), WARFATHER‘s highly anticipated follow-up to debut album Orchestrating the Apocalypse, was produced by Death Metal icon and studio wizard Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL).

The collaboration marks the first time Tucker and Rutan have worked together since MORBID ANGEL’s Gateways to Annihilation. Tucker had this to say about the results:

Finnish Industrial Metal Unit KING SATAN – Release “Psygnosis” Music Video

Finnish Industrial Metal/EBM Group KING SATAN have released the official video for new single “Psygnosis.” The video was directed, written and produced by the band’s mastermind/vocalist Aleister Von Satan himself. Check it out at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pq_HgY5puE or below:

The single will be included on the band’s upcoming debut album, which will be released later in 2016 on Saturnal Records.

KING SATAN is an industrial metal / EBM band from Tampere, Finland, founded in 2015 by Aleister Von Satan (a.k.a. fra. Zetekh, also mastermind of occult Black Metal band Saturnian Mist). KING SATAN combines influences from a wide range of Extreme Metal, Electro-Industrial and even Hard Rock. Musically, the band is about complete defiance – not only towards the boundaries and conventions of Metal and Electro Music but also the status quo of spiritual life and mental status of modern world. BAND BIO:

KING SATAN‘s first promo titled We are King Satan and we Fuck the World (2015) was recorded in autumn 2015 and released in December 2015 together with a music video single from the demo titled Enter Black Fire (2015). The video was directed by ALEISTER VON SATAN himself. The CD edition of the demo sold out fast and KING SATAN were going through a period of finding an established line-up for the sake of performing live, which meant that  a lot of people came and went before the line-up was settled. DJ SHEMHAMFORASH (a.k.a. fra. Ptahaz, also known from Saturnian Mist) was already in the band during the time of the first demo and handled guitars, synths and DJ responsibilities live, while B.B. KILL found himself as a guitarist and KATE BOSS as a bassist and a dancer.

Due to the success of the demo KING SATAN started working almost immediately on the debut full-length album in March 2016 and the first live shows were confirmed quickly. The first live appearance will take place August 2016 at the SAARIHELVETTI FESTIVAL, Tampere, Finland, where the band will share the stage with such names as Turmion Kätilöt and Shining, while the second show will take a place at the extravagant GOTHIC FEST in SOFIA at Sofia, Bulgaria on October 29, 2016.

ANAGNORISIS – Louisville Black Metal Outfit Entrenched In Pre-Production For New LP Due This Fall

Following a year of silence, Louisville, Kentucky-based black metal legion ANAGNORISIS announces the band’s triumphant return to action over recent months, as the band is currently heavily entrenched in the pre-production of their impending third album, and will be hitting the studio this weekend to begin the bulk of the actual recording stages.

ANAGNORISIS is currently more than two-thirds of the way through the pre-production of the next full-length chapter in their legacy, having finished all of the song structures and laid down most of the keys, guitars, and bass, and currently in the process of recording vocals. Joining the band for the recording sessions is drummer Cody McCody, also of Černá, Boreworm and others, the ANAGNORISIS lineup currently completed with vocalist Zachary Kerr, keyboardist Samuel Hartman, guitarist Zak Denham, and bassist Josh Mumford.

This Friday, ANAGNORISIS will enter The Tracking Room Studios in Nashville (Megadeth, Deep Purple, King Crimson, Taylor Swift) to track the drums for the new album. The rest of the recording will be engineered by Denham at his home studio where the band recorded their acclaimed Beyond All Light LP. The new album will be completed over the next month for Fall 2016 release on LP and CD through Germany-based Vendetta Records, who has been responsible for titles from Thou, Funerary, Usnea, Abstracter, and many others, and on cassette through Yehonala in Europe and Like Young Records in the US.

ANAGNORISIS self-released their second album, Beyond All Light, in mid-2013, the album stampeding its way into top-tier media outlets. SIX REASONS TO KILL have released a trailer video for upcoming Bastardized Recordings vinyl 7″ EP Rote Erde. Check it out at this location or below:

The video’s band scenes were filmed by Yves Ambitious Film. The trailer was recorded and edited by Daniel Zimmermann from Schrottgrenze.tumblr.com/.

SIX REASONS TO KILL recently revealed the cover artwork and track list for new EP Rote Erde (German for “Red  Earth”). The EP will be released March 11 through Bastardized Recordings on 7″ vinyl with three limited-edition vinyl colors available.  Rote Erde contains two new songs: the title track and a cover version of DISMEMBER’s “Of Fire.”

Impacted by line-up changes during the last year, SIX REASONS TO KILL became darker and more brutal in their songwriting, lyrics and artwork. The band plays brute Metal with a lot of anger. The new lyrics are written in German and deal with politically and socially critical topics.

The songs were recorded in summer 2015 at the Beast Audio Studios Frankfurt and mixed and mastered by Kohle at Kohlekeller Studio. The artwork was created by Schrottgrenze.
