Bay Area Thrash Metal legends, TESTAMENT, are proud to announce their first U.S. headlining tour since their phenomenal chart success with their new album, Dark Roots of Earth. The trek promises to be one of the best Thrash Metal lineups of the year, with support coming from the world-renowned OVERKILL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, as well as Australian Thrashers 4ARM.

The Swedish Heavy Metal blood brothers of ENFORCER recently signed a new worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast Records. Their new album is called Death By Fire and will be released on February, 1st.

Bandleader, vocalist and guitar player Olof Wikstrand comments: “It feels great to finally have finished this long-awaited third ENFORCER record. Now with Nuclear Blast on board we’re gonna make sure to spread it to every corner of this planet. You can expect nothing but the total, self defining ENFORCER record.”

MUTINY WITHIN – Breakdown The Hook For Their New Song “Machines”

PHOENIX-BASED BAND RELEASE ALL OUT WAR ON TUESDAY

Nov. 15, San Francisco, Calif. – Incite, who are set to release their sophomore album All Out War on Tuesday via Minus Head Records, are offering an mp3 of Die Alone via SkullsNBones (http://snblnk.com/2eo).

Revolver said the album is “full of mean riffing and serious aggression” while Metal Hammer said the band “harnesses the kind of groove-driven power that Lamb of God and, in more recent years, Devildriver have always nailed so perfectly.”

The Phoenix-based band recorded All Out War with producer Logan Mader (Gojira, Soulfly) at Darth Mader Music in Hollywood, Calif.

A North American tour for 2013 will be announced soon.

OVERLORD – Canadian Metallers Record Track For Upcoming METALLICA Tribute Album

Legendary cult Canadian Metallers Overlord will be included in an upcoming Metallica tribute album titled, Puppet Masters – A Millennium Tribute to Metallica – 1983-2013, scheduled to be released on Versailles Records and is slated for later this year.

The selected song, King Nothing, was recorded at Vyner Road Studio and engineered, mixed and produced by Elliott Sairan who has worked with Rush, Triumph, Jeff Beck and Alice Cooper among others.

Currently Overlord are working on new material and are up to see a new release soon to follow the 2010 release Back into the Dragon’s Lair put out by Heaven and Hell Records.

REVOCATION – Teratogenesis EP Releases Today Via SCION A/V + It’s FREE! REVOCATION North American Fall Tour Announced!

Massachusetts metallers REVOCATION have announced a North American tour for this fall presented by Scion A/V.  The tour will begin October 18th in Trenton, NJ and run through November 14th in Montreal, QC.  Support on the tour will come from A Life Once Lost and KEN mode. In conjunction with the tour, Scion A/V is releasing a new EP from REVOCATION today (September 25th). The EP is titled Teratogenesis and features the first recordings with the band’s new bass player Brett Bamberger.

Frontman Dave Davidson commented on the band’s new bassist:

“Hey what’s up guys, just wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been happening in the world of Revo. As some of you have already noticed Anthony has parted ways with the band. The split was amicable and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. I LEGION – Release Debut Album Featuring Members Of Soilwork, Threat Signal, Mutiny Within And More

What happens when you combine Björn Strid (SOILWORK), Jon Howard (THREAT SIGNAL), Chris Clancy (ex-MUTINY WITHIN), Peter Wichers (SOILWORK), Brandon Jacobs (ex-MUTINY WITHIN), Andy James (SACRED MOTHER TONGUE), Angel Vivaldi (VEXT), and musical genius Frederic Riverin?  Simple: you get one kick ass Metal record in the form of the band I LEGION.

I LEGION have officially released their debut album titled Beyond Darkness.

I LEGION is the musical work of Frederic Riverin, who spent the better part of 2011 crafting his latest project. With the help of producer and vocalist Chris Clancy, they both created the melodic metal sounds of what would become the debut album titled Beyond Darkness. Metal monsters Björn Strid, Jon Howard, and Chris Clancy handled vocal duties for the epic 12 track masterpiece. Modern guitar heroes Peter Wichers, Andy James, Angel Vivaldi, and Brandon Jacobs all contributed to the tasteful melodic lead guitar playing.

All these musicians helped Frederic to create his own album: alone, but with a legion behind him. The I LEGION.

ADORNED BROOD – Finish Recordings, Reveal Album Details For ‘Kuningaz’

ADORNED BROOD have finished the recordings of their upcoming album!

“Kuningaz”, which is the Germanic term for king, is going to be available in late November and will also be available as limited digipak with an exclusive bonus track.

The album was recorded at the Kohlekeller Studio in Seeheim-Jugenheim, Germany, with producer Kai Stahlenberg.

Mario Pontigo, Moritz “Mo” Stübing (All Will Know) and Florian “Blutaxt” Tamm (Black Unicorn) are featured as guest musicians on “Kuningaz”.

Rumor has it, that fans will hear more acoustic instruments, more blast beats, complex riffing and various sound effects on the album.

Bay Area Thrash veterans, TESTAMENT, have announced to tour Europe in support of their most recent release, Dark Roots Of Earth, in November.

Commented guitarist Alex Skolnick: “Our last run in Europe was a blast, with people responding to the new songs as though they’re classics. It will be great to return and play a few places we haven’t been in a while, such as Austria, Poland and the UK.”

Artwork And Track Listing Revealed

New Orleans Metal misanthropes, haarp, announce the release of their new studio offering, entitled Husks. Set for release on September 18, 2012 through Housecore Records, the follow-up to 2010’s The Filth offers up three tracks of crushing, post-apocalyptic dirge. Husks was recorded at the University of New Orleans Performing Arts Center, Fountainbleau Room 7011, and Nodferatu’s Lair by Philip H. Anselmo, engineered by Steve Berrigan and Nathan Weidenhaft and mastered at Visceral Sounds by Scott Hull.

Comments the band in a collective statement: “With Husks, we’ve maintained the sound we developed over our last few releases while adding some new elements and showing some additional influences.”

Due to unforeseen events which occurred late in the summer of 2005, members of various disbanded projects came together to forge haarp.
