The tour kick off coincides with REVOCATION‘s latest full-length, Netherheaven, set for release on September 9th via Metal Blade Records. Four years in the making, the Billboard-charting trio – Dave Davidson (vocals/guitars), Ash Pearson (drums), and Brett Bamberger (bass) – meticulously explore the allegorical and literal aspects of Hell as they dig deeper into the darker, more diabolical side of death metal.

In short, where the previous album, The Outer Ones (2018), jettisoned REVOCATION into the horrific maw of the cosmos, Netherheaven bores deftly through the nine rings of Hell to directly confront Lucifer and his multitudinous faces.

REVOCATION will kick off their North American co-headlining tour with Voivod this week with support provided by Psycroptic, Skeletal Remains, and Conjurer. The journey which will see the band play their latest album, The Outer Ones, in its smoldering entirety, runs from September 12th through October 12th and includes a performance at this year’s edition of Rock ‘N’ Shock in Worcester, Massachusetts with Eluveitie and Korpiklaani; as well as four special shows with Municipal Waste, Napalm Death, Sick Of It All, and Take Offense. REVOCATION will hit the road this Fall on a North American headlining tour. Presented by Gear Gods and featuring support from Cannabis Corpse, Archspire, and Black Fast, the trek marks REVOCATION‘s first headlining tour following the release of their latest album, Deathless.

The passage will commence on September 3rd in Providence, Rhode Island with the opening acts joining the package the following day in at the Studio at Webster Hall in New York City and stampede through over two dozen cities. The Matriarch Tour begins on May 20th in Detroit and winds its way through the east coast, the south, and up into western Canada for a final show on June 14th in Winnipeg. REVOCATION – I remember posting the press release, regarding this tidy 5 song EP, Teratogenesis, from Boston’s REVOCATION. Back on September 25th, 2012, this Metal gem was released for free, via Scion A/V Presents. Scion A/V routinely offers free downloads of Metal EP’s; therefore I declare Scion A/V kicks 100% Metal ass. This great company supports Metal. ‘Nuff said about that.

Of the 5 songs on this EP, my 2 favorite songs on Teratogenesis are Maniacally Unleashed and Bound By Desire. Plus, there are a TON of Metal grooves to be heard and enjoyed from the title track. Whoa! Please note that ALL 5 songs on this EP are some of the best Metal work that REVOCATION has ever done! I’m not shitting about that. If you’re not familiar with REVOCATION, their brand of Metal is Thrash, in the Death Thrash vein and they play it extremely well; just like Arizona’s rabid Hemoptysis.

The overall Metal wall-of-sound is so damn blistering fine from this EP! This is guitar driven Death Thrash that is, for me, eye-popping! If you’re looking for Metal intensity, that’ll leave you feeling as though you’ve smoked and inhaled potent Metal bliss, then Teratogenesis from REVOCATION is it. Metal be thy name. – Stone

REVOCATION – Teratogenesis EP Releases Today Via SCION A/V + It’s FREE! REVOCATION North American Fall Tour Announced!

Massachusetts metallers REVOCATION have announced a North American tour for this fall presented by Scion A/V.  The tour will begin October 18th in Trenton, NJ and run through November 14th in Montreal, QC.  Support on the tour will come from A Life Once Lost and KEN mode. A complete list of dates can be found below.

In conjunction with the tour, Scion A/V is releasing a new EP from REVOCATION today (September 25th). The EP is titled Teratogenesis and features the first recordings with the band’s new bass player Brett Bamberger.

Frontman Dave Davidson commented on the band’s new bassist:

“Hey what’s up guys, just wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been happening in the world of Revo. As some of you have already noticed Anthony has parted ways with the band. The split was amicable and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We have recently enlisted the services of Brett Bamberger and we are incredibly stoked to have him on board as an official member. Come see us live and buy him a beer.”

SIX FEET UNDER – Announce 18 Nights Of Blood Tour 2012; Dying Fetus and Revocation to Support

Death Metal miscreants SIX FEET UNDER today announces a bout of U.S. live rituals this June. Dubbed the 18 Nights Of Blood Tour, the bestial invasion will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on June 8 and ravage its way across the country before coming to a close on June 29 in Tampa, Florida. Support will be provided by Dying Fetus and Revocation. The band will be touring in support of their upcoming ninth full-length, Undead, scheduled for North American release this Spring.

Wanna Know What’s Kicked My Metal Lovin’ Ass Recently?

I’m not going to tip-toe around the Metal bush here. I am revealing what has kicked my Metal lovin’ ass recently to the world. Enjoy:

Last night, (February 6th), I took in the Anthrax, Testament & Death Angel show at The Crocodile Rock Cafe, in Metal enriched Allentown, Pennsylvania. These three legendary Metal bands kicked my Metal lovin’ ass into submission. I was joined by Metal buddies Danielle and Lee for this show and the three of us can agree about last evening’s Metal experience with these words: Good Metal times. I will be writing in more Metal detail, just how fun and Metal Thrashin’ Mad the night really was, within the next few days. There’s a couple of cool pics from this Metal experience too.

REVOCATION released Chaos Of Forms back on August 16th, 2011 via Relapse Records and it has served me Metal right. Oh, yes, it has kicked my Metal lovin’ ass from top to bottom. If you are in desperate need of listening to a Thrash Metal album that is so damn intense with its vocal aggression, guitar driven bliss, bass pummeling and percussion pounding assault, then buy Chaos Of Forms and thank the Metal Gods that this band exists. HAVOK – Denver Thrashers To Kick Off Tour With Thrash Legends Forbidden

Young Denver Thrash battalion, HAVOK, who recently wrapped up a tour supporting Florida Death Metal legends Malevolent Creation, are gearing up for two very special treks. The first is a short run of headlining dates that will commence in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 3 and run through to Amarillo, Texas on May 12. From there, the band will head home for a short break before joining Bay Area Thrash Legends, Forbidden, for a near month-long journey that will kick off in West Hollywood, California and level 22 North American cities before drawing to a close in Escondido, California. Also joining the tour will be Revocation and White Wizzard.

Commented vocalist/guitarist David Sanchez: “Starting May 3, we’ll be heading out for a west coast run.  Touring the west coast was how we got our start, so it always feels like home. It will be great to return for some head-smashing headline shows. Then in June, we’ll be doing a US/Canada run, coast to coast, with Forbidden, Revocation and White Wizzard! I am so psyched to be touring with all of these great bands!  Forbidden is one of my favorite Thrash Metal bands and I really hope to hear some songs from their first two albums. Revocation is one of my favorite bands to have come out in the last 10 years and they’re all friends of ours, so I’m super pumped to get to hang out with them every night! I anticipate White Wizzard to be epic-as-fuck every night as well. I’m very excited to be a part of this tour because I feel that it will be one of the best Metal packages of the 2011. Metal fans definitely won’t want to miss this tour. Prepare for some massive amounts of headbanging. Looking forward to seeing you all on the road!”
