GOATWHORE – To Kick Off Tour With RINGWORM This Week; Band To Play Psycho Las Vegas Friday

GOATWHORE will return to the road this week for a short run of live dates with Cleveland metallic hardcore veterans Ringworm. Set to commence August 13th in Lubbock, Texas, the band’s latest stretch of shows – which includes an appearance at this year’s edition of Psycho Las Vegas with Electric Wizard, High On Fire, En Minor, Bad Religion, and more – will wind its way through ten cities upon its conclusion August 25th in Wichita, Kansas. Additionally, GOATWHORE will appear at VanFest 2019 in Lafayette, Louisiana September 28th and Brash Brewing Company’s fourth anniversary show in Houston, Texas October 5th with more shows to be announced in the coming weeks. THE BLEEDING – Reveal Artwork, Details For “Morbid Prophecy”

World War Now Records is proud to announce UK Extreme Metallers THE BLEEDING, return with their hotly anticipated follow-up Morbid Prophecy, to 2018’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Rites of Absolution. Morbid Prophecy is set for release October 18, 2019 and the album cover art has now been unleashed.

Lead guitarist Tasos had this to say about the new album: “‘Morbid Prophecy’ is an aural descent into hell that encapsulates the saga of the fall of man. The themes of desperation, destruction and death echo through the album in a cacophony of damnation. Man enters the abyss and surrenders to the scale of horror he witnesses. Formed in 2010 by Themis on vocals and Tasos on guitar, THE BLEEDING was soon joined by Jeff on guitar and Dimitris on drums. Sean on bass completed the line up. The band’s first public performance took place on September 30, 2012 at The Monarch in Camden Town, London and introduced Jamie on vocals. Death Eternal, the band’s debut album was unleashed in 2013. Followed by the 2018 release of the highly acclaimed Rites of Absolution album via World War Now Records.

PULCHRA MORTE – Death/Doom Unit Confirmed To Appear At Full Terror Assault Open Air; Band To Begin Recording New Album

Death/Doom practitioners PULCHRA MORTE will appear at this year’s edition Full Terror Assault Festival at Cave-In-Rock, Illinois. The band will be performing on Thursday, September 5th, day one of the three-day event, alongside the likes of such scene heavyweights as Exhorder, Krisiun, and Kataklysm.

Immediately following FTA, PULCHRA MORTE will begin recording the follow-up to 2019’s Divina Autem Et Aniles. Band guitarist and producer/engineer Jarrett Pritchard (1349, Goatwhore, Cannabis Corpse, Nocturnus A.D., etc.) will helm the board again as drummer Clayton Gore enters Matt Talbott’s (Hum, Centaur) Earth Analog studio the following week. Recording will continue throughout September at both Earth Analog and Pritchard’s own New Constellation studio in Orlando, Florida.

PULCHRA MORTE‘s debut, Divina Autem Et Aniles, was released in February 2019 and continues to reap critical acclaim, appearing on a host of “Best of 2019 So Far” lists. The follow-up is slated for an early 2020 release. Details to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

ENFORCED – WAR Records To Release “At The Walls” LP From Richmond Crossover Outfit; Tour Dates With Iron Reagan, Sacred Reich And Leeway Closing In

WAR Records welcomes Richmond, Virginia-based crossover outfit ENFORCED to the label roster and is currently preparing the band’s At The Walls LP for summer release. With the album’s final details being sorted for pressing, the band is about to embark on a run of tour dates through the Northeastern US and into Canada supporting a vicious tour package with Sacred Reich, Iron Reagan, and Leeway.

Formed in 2016, ENFORCED picks up where Sepultura and Cro-Mags left off and infuses their own volatile, hardcore fury into the hardcore/thrash crossover sound of the late ’80s. Fronted by a voice that could only belong to that of a madman and unloading nonstop blazing riffs and pummeling breakdowns in every track, the band demolishes everything in their path, leaving a trail of smoldering wreckage and pure decimation anywhere they perform.

ENFORCED‘s impending At The Walls LP features a remixed and remastered version of the 2017 demo and their “Retaliation” promo, and introduces two brand new songs to the mix. All tracks were recorded by Bob Quirk and mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy, Candy). In addition, Dwid Hellion (Integrity, Psywarfare) provides guest vocals to the track “Skinned Alive” who also created the apocalyptic album artwork for the LP.

Expect nothing but total war on stage from ENFORCED as they explode into 2019; a must-hear for fans of classic crossover/thrash from Nuclear Assault, Demolition Hammer, and Devastation, as well as modern shredders Skeletal Remains, Foreseen, and War Hungry. Watch for the final details on ENFORCED‘s At The Walls LP to be issued in the days ahead for an early summer release through WAR Records.

ENFORCED is booking tour dates into the summer months surrounding the release of the LP. Beginning next week, they will be out on the road supporting Sacred Reich, Iron Reagan, and Leeway from May 9th through May 17th, with shows in Asbury Park, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Boston, Albany, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto. ENFORCED tours home with shows in Philadelphia and Virginia Beach, followed by a hometown show supporting Accused AD on May 25th. Additional tour dates are to be expected through the coming months.

AGE OF THE WOLF – Sign With Aural Music

Costa Rican doom metal band AGE OF THE WOLF have signed with Aural Music to release their new album Ouroboric Trances on May 10 2019. The album will be made available on CD, vinyl and digital formats.

The band commented: “we are excited to sign with the ever-growing Italian label ‘Aural Music’. This is a big step for the band and the entire country, since this is the first band in it’s genre to be signed by an international label in Costa Rica, and now with the momentum, the band’s not planning on stopping anytime soon.”

NOCTIFERIA – Announce Third Guest On Reforma Project, THE TRUE MAYHEM’s Attila!

Slovenia’s legendary NOCTIFERIA are currently busy in the studio finishing recording their new album “Reforma – Tribute to LAIBACH”! Today the band announces the third guest on the album, THE TRUE MAYHEM‘s Csihar Attila. Read below the announcement:

“We are beyond honoured to let you know that legendary voice of black metal, The True Mayhem’s Csihar Attila joined Official David Vincent and Jørgen Munkeby on our Reforma project. Attila recorded main vocals for track ‘Tanz mit Laibach’ and it sounds extremely sacrilegious! ARTWORK FOR THE BLIND (Death/Thrash Metal) Release New Video

Kentucky metallers Artwork for the Blind released a video for their track “Shoot The Moon (El Roacho)” off sophomore album II earlier this week.  The jarring political statement showcases the band’s psychedelic approach to the groove and death subgenres.

About Artwork For the Blind:

In 2012, Artwork for the Blind began with an original line up of Chris Brackett (Guitarist), Sean Coy Curry (Vocalist), Mike Hoehn (Bassist), and Larry Myers (Drummer). The quartet soon began writing their first set of songs and gigging around the Louisville area. In 2014, the group released their self-produced, self-titled album to much praise in the Louisville local metal scene. Then in 2015, the group started writing and recording their second self-produced album, II.

Soon after II was released, guitarist Chris Brackett decided to bow out of the group citing health issues. The group had been recording at Louisville guitarist Sol. E. Williams house, so it was only natural that Sol. be asked to take Brackett’s place on guitar.  Almost immediately, the band began to extend its range throughout the Midwest.

Soon after joining, Sol. began writing material for a new EP.  In the summer of 2017, Artwork began recording for another self produced release. In August of 2018, the group made their third release, the 5-song EP titled A Dying Breed and the Living Proof to much acclaim in their growing following.

Currently the group is writing and recording material for a fourth release with singles expecting to be cut as the album progresses. Furthermore they expect to be scheduling shows throughout the Midwest this summer and releasing videos in support of the last summer EP.

RAGNHILD – Release A New Intense Music Video For The Track – ‘Under The Red Sky’

Ragnhild play a very distinct style of Death Metal fusing element of Melodies and Viking Metal and offer a very unique sound that defines their brand. Their new album ‘Tavern Tales’ is slated for a March release. The first track of the album – ‘Under the Red Sky’ speaks of a powerful theme and is complimented by a strong video that holds true to the nature of the song; perhaps, that’s the speciality of it.

Commenting about the song, the guitarist Shardul comments “The Songs in the album have been composed with the general idea of how Melodic Death Metal comprising of Nordic/ Celtic melodies when mixed with heavier riffs and vocals sound. The lyrics that we wrote are basically out of our own imagination of various incidents that took place in our history. ‘Under the Red Sky’ is written with similar ideas. The lyrics talk about a fleet of soldiers that were betrayed by one of our own and by the grace of the gods, they found out about the ambush that awaits”.

OMENFILTH: Philippines Based Black Metal Practitioners To Release Devourer Of The Seven Moons Full-Length Via Eternal Death This April; New Track Streaming + Preorders Available

Philippines-based black metal practitioners OMENFILTH will release their third full length, Devourer Of The Seven Moons, on April 12th via Eternal Death.

Following the path of traditional black metal rather than the war metal influences often associated with their place of origin, Devourer Of The Seven Moons showcases the strengths of the band — eerie melodies (“The Embrace Of Solitude”), headbanging fury (“Summon The Beast Of Damnation,” “Seared By The Flames Of Bawo”), and violent upsurges (“Bakuana Ex Inferis”). Appealing more to fans of bands like Varathron or Darkthrone than Blasphemy or Von, Devourer Of The Seven Moons shows that Southeast Asian black metal is more than just sleazy goatworship and miniguns. Following the lyrical themes of the album, the artwork of Dave Fogg is based on the ancient Filipino mythological entity Bakunawa aka “The Devourer Of The Seven Moons.”

WAR CURSE SIGN WITH SVART RECORDS
