At the ceremony in front of fans, friends and family, Paul, Gene and Bruce spoke to the crowd and then left impressions of their hand prints in a block of cement. After adding plates of the KISS logo and their signatures, the stone plaque was later added to RockWalk located at the site of the famed Oriental Theatre now Guitar Center Hollywood. NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST, comprised of vocalist Bloodseeker, guitarist XXX-Bomber, drummer Overkiller, and bassist Doomtrigger, recorded twenty brand new songs for their debut album at local Backyard Studios with producer Pawel “Chudy” Chyla in April and May 2016, completing the record just days ago. Overkill Commando is powerful dose of dirty, old-fashioned grindcore heavily influenced by classic bands like Terrorizer, Extreme Noise Terror, and Repulsion. NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST is a new band born in April 2015 in Świdnik, Poland. That August they released a demo called Mutant Inferno which met with a very positive response, and the band was subsequently offered shows at Into the Abyss Festival alongside Dead Congregation, Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench, and others, Mini Merciless Festival, a run of shows across Ireland with Dead Goats, and more.
In addition to their upcoming Overkill Commando full-length release through Selfmadegod, the Mutant Inferno demo will soon be released as a split cassette through Massacre Distro, a split CD will be released through Defense Records/Mythrone Promotion, and a split 12′ on Devil’s Nun Records is on the way, in each case accompanied by different bands to be announced in the coming months.
Guitarist/Vocalist Thane Farace of RABID ASSASSIN was severely injured in an ATV accident on April 24th, 2016 sustaining major damage to the left side of his body.
His injuries include:
Compound/Shattered collarbone
Broken shoulder-blade
Broken upper rib
Partially collapsed & bruised lung
Head laceration
Lacerations on back of shoulder
Dealing with the aftermath of his accident, Thane, a telecommunications subcontractor, has health insurance but due to his extensive injuries Thane is out of work for an extended period of time and needed to file for Short Term Disability. Upon filing, he found out that his Short Term Disability was never renewed for 2016. This poses a tremendous problem now as Thane has NO income to cover his current living expenses much less the new medical bills already rolling in.

However, this September, Original Singer/Songwriter Glenn Danzig, Original Bassist Jerry Only and long-time Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein – for the “First Time in Over 30-Years” – will be stepping onto stage together as “The Original MISFITS” to headline Riot Fest & Rodeo in Denver, CO (September 2-4, 2016) and Riot Fest & Carnival in Chicago, IL (September 16-18, 2016).
From the time of their first gig in 1977, the MISFITSand their iconic imagery went on to become one of the most crucially influential, genre-defying bands to ever emerge from North America, the MISFITS significance extends well beyond the narrowed path of punk rock & hardcore. Although not cognizant of how significant they would become, what the MISFITS achieved in their initial six-year window deconstructed and redefined rock music.
All the while, the MISFITS with Danzig’s unmistakable voice, Only’s ferocious bass sound and the bands anthemic songs, melody-induced choruses and authentically bruising musicianship, cemented their importance with all ensuing generations, whether in arena-filled metal shows or in a sweaty 400-cap club in Tucson.
