Cold as ice, angry as a horde of Viking warriors and determined like an army fighting for freedom of their homeland: THUNDERWAR! The band was born in 2013, when four young Metal maniacs decided to join their forces to not only pay tribute to such Metal heroes as BATHORY, UNLEASHED, DISSECTION and AMON AMARTH, but to prove that Poland has again something to say to the metal world.
The debut EP “THE BIRTH OF THUNDER” was mixed and produced by Wieslawscy Bros from HERTZ STUDIO (BEHEMOTH, VADER, DECAPITATED). The band’s logo was designed by Christophe Szpajdel (EMPEROR, MOONSPELL, DESASTER) and the cover artwork of “The Birth of Thunder” EP was done by Mario Lopez.
Currently the band is promoting their self-released EP and in the middle of 2014 will enter the HERTZ STUDIO to work on their first full album. THUNDERWAR – Better remember this name, as they are here to stay!

Los Angeles, CA – Bad Wolf has returned with a riveting new music video that is sure to captivate audiences and gratify current fans. “Stay With Me” is the follow-up single to 2013’s “Drowning Beautiful” release, which has garnered nearly 102K views on YouTube. The latest single tells the relatable story of desperately trying to save a broken love, and features Bad Wolf’s signature sound of haunting vocals, heavy guitars, and a hypnotic drumbeat. “Stay With Me” also marks the first single containing backing vocals from Bad Wolf’s Tommy and Alicia. The faerie-inspired rockers have once again teamed up with director, Raiya Corsiglia (Cannes Lion Nominee, eight-time Telly Award Winner) to have their fantasy storybook themes come to life. Bad Wolf consists of Kota Wade (lead vocals and keys), Tommy O. (guitars), Tim Falco (drums), and Alicia Vigil (bass).

The filming of the video took the band to the Angeles National Forest, where they got up close and personal with the wolves on set. “It was amazing getting to work with real wolves, just seeing them in the forest while we were shooting was magical, and we knew it would push this video over the top!” says lead singer, Kota Wade. “We’re so excited to be able to represent our ‘Wolfpack’ (as we call our fans) with real wolves and a very ‘big bad wolf’ storyline in this video!” Consisting of an elaborate set production and astonishing costumes, Bad Wolf kept a keen eye on the details when developing the storyboard for the ultimate fairytale vision. “In this video we wanted to tell a love story, something we haven’t done in our previous songs, but in a Bad Wolf, dark, faerie rock way!”
Apart from being full-time members of Bad Wolf, the foursome has attained success within their respected individual careers. Kota Wade is a member of the pop group, Girl Radical, organized by *N Sync’s, JC Chasez. She has also graced the cover of LA Weekly, as “One of LA’s Most Interesting People” for her role as owner and operator of the all ages Hollywood venue, Amplify. Tommy O. is currently an electrical engineer who holds a patent in the field of deep brain stimulation. Aside from being a musician, Vigil is also a model and an actress, and can be seen as the lead in the Black Veil Brides movie adaptation, Legion of the Black. With a strong passion to assist kids, drummer Tim Falco is presently obtaining his teaching credentials for adapted physical education for students with special needs.

Bay Area Technical Deathcore band, RINGS OF SATURN, recently parted ways with drummer Jesse Beahler. Despite the setback, the band has tapped Black Tongue/Infant Annihilator drummer Aaron Kitcher to play on their upcoming new full-length. In an official statement, the band elaborates:
“Our drummer, Jesse Beahler, has made the decision to leave RINGS OF SATURN in order to put all his concentration into his other band, Black Crown Initiate. It was awesome touring with him, and we wish him the best of luck in his future musical endeavors! Despite this unfortunate news, we want to announce that we are officially working on a new record! Because of our drum situation, Aaron Kitcher from Black Tongue and Infant Annihilator has agreed to play drums on our third album. We are super excited about this and feel that his input will really blow people’s minds on our new material. Aaron will not be joining the band because he is already committed to two very active bands. So, we are looking for a touring drummer who can play material from Embryonic Anomaly, Dingir, and will also be down to learn songs from the new record so we can hit the road on tours to support the upcoming release. FLESH ENGINE was a promotional monster for last year’s fest, so we’re privileged to have them back to perform again this summer, especially since they have been planning something special for us in 2014!

Shadow Kingdom Records has unearthed and released a collection of obscure and virtually unknown ’80s Italian Doom Metal from RUN AFTER TO.
A split release entitled Run After To/Gjinn and Djinn that includes the band’s lone 1988 self-titled EP and the 1985 Gjinn and Djinn demo is now available worldwide on digital and CD formats. The songs have been remastered and the CD package contains some amazing band photos and a complete biography.
With the strange name came some strange songs as well. These old dusty recordings are literally impossible to find except for a low quality upload on YouTube. Fans of old 80’s Doom Metal like PAUL CHAIN VIOLET THEATRE, BLACK HOLE, and DEATH SS will absolutely love this package. Those not as familiar with Italian Doom Metal will have their interest piqued by comparisons to the likes of BLACK SABBATH, SAINT VITUS, CANDLEMASS and TROUBLE. RUN AFTER TO is one of those bands who has gone criminally unnoticed thanks to a career cut too short.
The opening track to Consume, the second full-length undertaking from Tucson, Arizona-based quintet, LETHAL DOSAGE, has been leaked onto the masses via Revolver Magazine. Bringing forth a nearly four-minute beating fueled by the band’s live-for-today and fuck the rest attitude, “Drink” most aptly displays whatConsumeis about. From the cacophony of the scathing vocal bellow and immediately pummeling opening moments of the album, listeners know Consume is going to be a punishing excursion.

Sacramento Death Metal behemoths, THE KENNEDY VEIL, today spew forth the teachings of their “Necrotic Gospel.” Hosted by the crypt keepers at Stereokiller, the latest tune comes courtesy of the band’s soon-to-be-released Trinity Of Falsehood full-length.
Produced by Nick Botelho at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, California and featuring the debut of new throat Taylor Wientjes, Trinity Of Falsehood is an unapologetically methodical, fast-paced display of sharp, groin-churning DM brutality. Dutch Extreme Death Metal militia, ARSEBREED, recently completed the recording of their forthcoming Unique Leader full-length with current Necrophagist basher Romain Goulon behind the kit.
In an official statement the band elaborates: “In 2006, just after [former drummer] Floris [De Jonge, Mangled] left ARSEBREED, we got in contact with an unknown young French guy. He said he knew us from our other bands, Pyaemia and Disavowed. We all agreed on a try-out. After only one month, he e-mailed saying he had learned our songs. Slightly skeptical — one month is really quick — we bought him his plane ticket and flew him in. Once in the rehearsal room, he nailed it! Flawless, relentless, speed and accuracy! We instantly knew that this unknown young guy from France, Romain Goulon, was the prefect drummer for ARSEBREED. Unfortunately, the best kept secret in death metal was soon discovered by the rest of the world and in 2007 Romain fled ARSEBREED to join Necrophagist. Nevertheless, last year we once again got in contact with Romain. We started talking about these ten songs that we had written over time, just waiting for a drummer… and we were stoked to hear that he was willing to record them! This week we received the recordings. More than seven years later we got that exact same feeling that we had back in 2006 in that rehearsal room. Insane. Romain proved once again that was and is the one and only drummer for ARSEBREED. New Noise Magazine has posted the exclusive world premiere of Shadow Dancer, the first single off of the upcoming self-titled album from French Stoner/Doom Metal outfit DRAWERS. Due out February 11 on Kaotoxin Records, Drawers was recorded live to tape in the studio and delivers plenty of intense, heavy and catchy grooves.
