Colombian black/death/grind force FLAGELO will see their ferocious debut EP Insaciable released worldwide on October 31st, 2025, through Nuclear Winter Records (CD and LP) and Night Terrors Records (MC).
Originally self-released by the band earlier this year, the record quickly carved its place as a raw and unrelenting slab of extreme metal. With its suffocating mix of grinding speed, cavernous doom and blackened atmosphere, Insaciable captures the essence of FLAGELO’s vision: primitive yet inventive, violent yet textured. Now given a full-scale release, the EP promises to drag a wider audience into the group’s vortex of visceral aggression, menacing soundscapes, and apocalyptic rage.

Hailing from Colombia, with members from a handful of projects from Cali’s ripe underground, purveyors of grinding black death FLAGELO began activities in 2022 as an exercise in visceral aggression and menacing atmosphere.
Their first collection of songs released in 2025 titled Insaciable is a living, breathing slab of extreme sounds spanning blackened death, doom and grindcore. Melding inventive and atmospheric ideas into a primitive and straightforward approach that retains vile power and weight. All the while a barrage of bellowing voices and shrieks hurls misanthropic curses onto a self-annihilating world.
Line-up:
Francisco Gallego – Vocals Sebastián Osorio – Vocals, Guitars Miguel Méndez – Vocals, Guitars Luis Miguel Cuartas – Bass Juan José Moya – Drums
Ambitious and forward-looking, FLAGELO are already preparing the next chapter in their assault on the underground. With new material in the works and a confirmed slot at the 2026 edition of the Total Death Over Mexico Festival, the future looks certain to bring even more devastation.

NYC’s legendary pioneers, AGNOSTIC FRONT, are set to unveil the unapologetically fierce new album Echoes in Eternity. AGNOSTIC FRONT hold nothing back. In “Way of War”, the forthcoming album’s opener, a relentless storm of driving rhythms and aggressive vocal chants awaits. It’s an abrasive and raucous display of power against injustice.

A FIERY, CINEMATIC, AND UNCOMPROMISING INSTRUMENTAL HEAVY METAL EXPERIENCE THAT PUSHES THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VIOLIN
Esin Yardimli Alves Pereira, is known for her Celtic and Nordic albums and orchestral compositions for RPG players, and for performing medieval and Renaissance melodies on historical instruments with her ensemble The Wandering Bard, while reaching thousands of listeners every month. She has also shared the stage with Fernando Ribeiro, (vocalist and lyricist of MOONSPELL) and will make her debut on the heavy metal scene with an EP.
Released by the label CordaSonora, KIANIS – Homage to Carmilla is a five-part, 12-minute EP set to be released on all digital platforms on October 31st, Samhain/Halloween. The first single, a strong and intense segment from the heart of the story, “Part II: …Twelve years ago, I saw your face in a dream” will be available to listeners on October 3rd.
The EP pays homage to Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu’s gothic classic Carmilla. Esin gives voice to the lesbian vampire Carmilla, who has historically remained in Dracula’s shadow, through her violin. The EP builds on the book’s gothic atmosphere, evoking determined, powerful and contradictory female figures and the darkest shades of red. Its 12-minute progressive and intense form mirrors the short but striking structure of the novel, delivering a dramatic impact.
Drums are performed by Xi, from the black metal band, GAEREA. Xi’s drumming emphasizes the dark and threatening nature of the EP. Esin considers having drums recorded by a musician of this caliber a great honor and source of pride for the project. On guitars and bass, Ricardo Alves Pereira, who has shared life, stage, and studio with Esin for years, strengthens the EP’s old-school backbone with riffs that support the orchestral texture without overshadowing the violin.
Having achieved her desired dynamics and intensity with real string instruments since The Songbook of Tchinar releases, Esin recorded all orchestral parts herself. During production, the orchestral mix was handled by Esin, while Metehan Köktürk, (whom Esin has long called her “personal Jedi”), mixed and mastered the EP, bringing Carmilla’s ferocious tone to life.
The EP speaks to listeners who appreciate timeless music, independent of today’s fast-consumption trends. Esin’s audience includes those who have passionately listened to the same albums for ten, forty, or fifty years, as well as those in the heavy metal world looking to experience a new energy with the violin. KIANIS – Homage to Carmilla proves that violin and orchestral elements can take center stage in heavy metal.
Who is Esin Yardimli Alves Pereira? Esin is a musician, composer, and producer whose work revolves around the violin and its relatives, producing across a wide musical spectrum. She has performed classical, rock, jazz, medieval, and Renaissance music for almost twenty years.
Focused on historically informed performance practices and yet innovative, The Wandering Bard has also brought to stage a selection of the Iberian Peninsula’s +-800-year-old scorn and mockery songs (cantigas de escarnio e maldizer) with MOONSPELL’s vocalist and songwriter, Fernando Ribeiro.
In 2017, Esin turned toward production and sound engineering and co-founded the label CordaSonora, with Ricardo Alves Pereira. She has been involved in the sound engineering and design of 17 album releases. In 2024–2025, she becomes co-director of the Ciclo de Música Medieval de Leiria and Dias de Música Medieval da Batalha festivals in Portugal.
From Esin about KIANIS – Homage to Carmilla: “This EP matured in my dreams for a long time; it emerged when I felt I could convey my emotions fully while maintaining my own identity. I have played in rock and underground metal bands across various countries. In the early days, there weren’t even smartphones or digital cameras to capture a memento or two, and unfortunately, no band I joined since then lasted. I am tired of saying, ‘You know, I used to play metal,’ and with this EP, I no longer need to. I look forward to collaborating with other musicians who will draw inspiration from this EP and imagine my violin in their music. I played all string parts myself, translating the misty, eerie orchestral sounds in my head directly into the recording.
The conceptual framework of the EP is based on the idea that beauty can also be frightening. Carmilla is not alone; in literature, folk tales, and mythology, many powerful female figures are ultimately portrayed as ‘monsters’ or ‘threats’, yet the flame of love for them never dies. The violin, capable of being both seductive and aggressive, is one of the best instruments to convey this theme.
Each section’s title is taken directly from the Carmilla book, at most serving as a guide, while the EP’s instrumental form frees the listener’s imagination. Simple and strong rhythmic structures communicate directly to the listener’s pulse and my harmonic and melodic choices aim to convey the intended emotions as clearly as possible.”
“My influences within the genre include members of Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Septicflesh, Moonspell and Symphony X. Outside the genre: Jeremy Soule, Marcin Przybyłowicz, Paweł Błaszczak, Adam Skorupa, Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz, Dario Marianelli and Sean Callery. Outside of music: Zdzisław Beksiński, John Howe, Richard Taylor, Michael Ende, Mary Shelley, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and Sheridan Le Fanu. I hope one day to thank them all individually, at least those still alive.”

American heavy metal icons CORROSION OF CONFORMITY are back with a special rendition of “Fire And Water” by English rock band, Free! The classic track was originally released in 1970 on the album of the same name.
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s version came spontaneously in the studio during some downtime while recording their forthcoming new full-length, set for release next year, and serves as the first of the Riffissippi Studio Jam Sessions, a special collection of jammed out interpretations of songs by some of the band’s favorite artists.
Comments guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan: “When we were tracking this record, we had a very cool space set up where we would essentially hang in the large room with everything mic’d and everything we needed, including a turntable and a bunch of our favorite records, which we would play and chill out between takes. We were hanging together, and I pulled out a Free album and ‘Fire And Water’ popped up. [Drummer] Stanton [Moore] jumped up immediately and said, ‘Who the fuck is that!?’ He had never heard it before. We were baffled, but it was awesome to us that he had never heard it. He said, ‘let’s cut that!’ I said, ‘man, that’s friggin’ Free and kind of like holy ground that you don’t fuck with.’ But we started thinking about it and damn, Stanton charted it out like the drum wizard he is. I said, ‘I can’t sing like that, man. He’s the king.’ Someone in the room said, ‘just sing it like you,’ so we went for it and had a blast doing it. It was a nice fun break from the recording. It’s nothing too serious, just a bunch of fellas leaning into it, loving the rock. It’s an exercise in restraint. Hope y’all dig it.”

Independent black metal visionaries PROFANE ELEGY have released their latest single, “As My Heart Turns to Ash,” today, accompanied by a haunting visualizer. The track is the latest cut from their highly anticipated sophomore album, Herezjarcha, due out January 30, 2026.
“As My Heart Turns to Ash” is a doom-laden lament that explores themes of emotional detachment, hardening one’s heart, and walking away from what cannot be saved. With its deliberate pacing, mournful melodies, and the introduction of ghostly clean vocal passages, the song marks one of the band’s most introspective and vulnerable moments to date.
The single is the latest glimpse into Herezjarcha, an album that expands every dimension of PROFANE ELEGY’s sound. Following their acclaimed 2023 debut When All Is Nothing, which drew praise for its fusion of atmospheric black metal and doom-laden despair, the upcoming record promises to be heavier, more dynamic, and thematically deeper.
Herezjarcha Track Listing:
“Exeunt Omnes” – 4:57
“Haunted” – 3:31
“The Accuser” – 5:23
“As My Heart Turns to Ash” – 5:24
“I AM” – 3:49
“Immutable” – 4:13
“And Then We Are Gone” – 4:02
“Herezjarcha” – 5:57
Produced by J Gulick and mastered by Kevin Antreassian (Backroom Studios), Herezjarcha embodies the band’s commitment to vision over genre purity, weaving together black, doom, death, and progressive elements with orchestral textures and philosophical lyricism.
“VADERMANIAX!!! We ended the summer concert season with three concerts in the last weekend of August. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for wonderful moments and total craziness and Massive Music for organization and great atmosphere on all trips in the summer season 2025.
All the stage photos by Adam Sieklicki
These were also the last concerts in 2025 in Poland and Europe. Upcoming plans are the Carnival of Death Tour in the USA and Canada in October. Because we and Massive Music are still receiving inquiries about more concerts in Poland, we will try to organize one more weekend in December this year. I hope that in 2026, we will see each other more often at the common craziness in our country. It will be the 20th anniversary of the album Impressions In Blood.
All the stage photos by Adam Sieklicki
We will also like to remind you of the wider Kingdom (expect a new edition of this title soon). There are also plans for something special that we haven’t done before… but let’s wait for the specifics. The new Vader album will definitely be made next year – but let’s rather expect the release at the beginning of 2027. Below is a memento KAT cover from the concert in Zamo Pć in August shared from the Janusz Bb collection. Thanks.”

Featuring members of Baring Teeth, Pyrrhon, and more
Death metal outfit UMULAMAHRI will unleash its debut album, Learning the Secrets of Acid, this fall on Ordovician Records.
Pushing the limits of extreme music into stranger and more corrosive territories, UMULAMAHRI is comprised of a formidable lineup of underground innovators. The band features Andrew Hawkins of Baring Teeth and Doug Moore of Pyrrhon, Seputus, Glorious Depravity, and Weeping Sores. Session drummer Kevin Paradis adds his trademark percussive firepower to the band’s sound.
Learning the Secrets of Acid is a densely cerebral excursion into warped riffs, fractured rhythms, and unyielding intensity. The album redefines the framework of death metal, crafting something volatile, unpredictable, and deeply unsettling.
This becomes evident after listening to the EP’s lead single, “Orifice Invocation.” Listen now on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Ordovician Records will release Learning the Secrets of Acid on digital and vinyl formats on October 1.
Texas-based hateful Death Metal outfit, CALCRAFT, recently signed to Lifeforce Records, are set to release their debut album, Reborn Through Torture, on November 21st (physical release January 30th).
With the uncompromising credo “Unrelenting death metal. No trends. No mercy.” CALCRAFT define their sound and with their debut album “Reborn Through Torture” they deliver a merciless statement against anything watered-down or trend-driven.
The Texas-based outfit stands for raw, hate-fueled death metal, deeply rooted in the legacy of Immolation, Suffocation, and Incantation. But CALCRAFT go further: their songs are steeped in dark atmosphere, thrashy aggression, and a cinematic violence that feels ripped straight from the bloodiest scenes of Giallo and slasher films.
Their name is no coincidence. William Calcraft, England’s infamous executioner, serves as a grim source of inspiration. Like their namesake, CALCRAFT show no mercy: their music is an auditory noose, each track an execution. Reborn Through Torture is a blood-soaked manifesto of riffs, madness, and horror, dragging the listener into a world of pain and cinematic carnage.
Each song tells a story of insanity, torture, and final breaths. CALCRAFT don’t aim to entertain, they aim to disturb. Their goal is to create a threatening sonic landscape that sounds like “a blood-soaked soundtrack to the final scene you never survive.”
Those who face this album won’t be spared. CALCRAFT hold themselves to their own brutal standard and deliver death metal in its most relentless, uncompromising form.
The album’s first single, “Satisfying Strangulation” is available now on all digital platforms:
Italian modern metal act Secret Rule presents their new single “In The Silence”, the latest chapter leading up to the release of their upcoming album X, out October 24th via Rockshots Records.
Following the impactful “Just a Sacrifice”, the environmental call of “Echoes of the Earth” and the emotional depth of “Silent Pain”, this new single turns inward, exploring the dialogue with our inner self, the quietest voice that often carries the most strength.
Blending cinematic modern metal textures with an unexpected rap section performed by bassist Sofia Basili and enriched by orchestral counterpoints, “In The Silence” weaves together fragility, honesty, and resilience. Angela Di Vincenzo’s heartfelt vocals capture the tension between weakness and inner strength while Andy Menario’s production strikes a balance between heaviness and atmosphere.
Angela comments: “This song is a dialogue with your inner self—the version of you that holds your strength when you’re at your weakest. Writing it was like letting that voice finally speak.”
Sofia adds: “My part is that quiet voice inside, the one that whispers when you’re ready to hear the truth. It’s not about volume, it’s about honesty.”
With “In The Silence”, Secret Rule reaffirms their ability to innovate within modern symphonic metal, offering yet another dimension of their dynamic sound.

Rooted in the ancient Cimbrian heritage of Italy’s Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, Balt Hüttar return with Tanzerloch, their most powerful and metal-driven chapter yet.
Active since 2011 and winners of multiple national & international contests, the band carries a unique mission: reviving the history, language, and traditions of the almost-forgotten Cimbri. BALT HÜTTAR‘s new album Tanzerloch is a concept record that delves into the myths, memories, and scars of the Altopiano.
Across 11 tracks sung in Italian, English, and Cimbrian, the band fuses the storytelling of folk traditions with the intensity of metal, creating a visceral and immersive soundscape. Produced by Christian Zecchin and released by Rockshots Records, Tanzerloch marks a new creative peak for the band.
For fans of Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, and Folkstone, BALT HÜTTAR deliver not just music, but a mission: to give voice to a forgotten culture and to use ancient stories to speak to today’s world.
Symphonic death metallers KARU return with the first single from their upcoming album Perdition. Out on September 16th, 2025, “Shadow War” sets the tone for the record’s epic narrative and sonic scope.
At nearly ten minutes in length, “Shadow War” embodies the essence of KARU’s sound: brutal, unforgiving riffs and guttural vocals contrasted by sweeping orchestration and haunting melodic passages. The track mirrors the conceptual backbone of Perdition, a journey through a folklore-inspired vision of feudal Japan, where villages are razed by demons and survivors confront both despair and resilience.
Musically, the single evolves like a saga. It opens with relentless death metal ferocity, transitions into an atmospheric middle section the band dubs the “Dreamworld,” and culminates in an emotionally charged guitar solo that balances virtuosity with narrative weight. This dynamic structure highlights the trio’s artistic synergy:
Niko Hienonen – vocals, production, orchestrations
Kalle Pöyskö – guitars
Toni Tieaho (ex-Mors Principium Est, Crystalic) – guitars
To celebrate the release, KARU also unveils an official lyric video for “Shadow War”, offering fans a visual entry point into the song’s story and atmosphere:
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Hienonen, “Shadow War”captures the next stage of KARU’s evolution after their acclaimed 2024 album HYDRA. With Perdition, the band pushes further, integrating clean vocals, Japanese voice acting, and even more intricate orchestration to craft an album designed as a seamless cinematic experience.
Perdition will be released worldwide on November 21st, 2025.
Track Listing: 1. Shores of Mist and Blood 2. Shadow War 3. Alone in the Forest 4. Embers in the Skies 5. Trail of Fire 6. Path of the Unforgiven 7. Perdition
For fans of Wintersun, Brymir, Whispered, and Nightwish, KARU’s “Shadow War” is both a statement of intent and an invitation into a mythic, immersive world where extreme metal collides with symphonic drama.
Psycosmic Death Grinders, NEFAS (featuring members of Cryptic Gallbladder Splatter, Bedlam of Cacophony, Teeth, and Wax People), have released a lyric video for “Spiral Degradation,” a track from recently released debut EP, Oblation ov Obliteration.
With seasoned experience across the technical, dissonant, and mathematical landscapes of metal, the band’s sonic statement of malicious intent, Oblation ov Obliteration, is a unique offering composed of churning death metal inspired riffs; ever shifting grooves; monstrous howls, shrieks, and yells; and the sonic representations of the undoing of reality.
Intense Indifference, the latest full-length from Swedish melodic death/thrash metal outfit VITTRA, is out today!
Intense Indifference follows VITTRA’s critically lauded debut, Blasphemy Blues, released in 2022, and centers on one’s own emotional journey, soul searching while simultaneously fighting an inner battle, all while presenting an untroubled, almost indifferent attitude. Inevitably, it all cracks.
In celebration of the release, the band has unleashed a video for opening track, “MOFO.” Comments guitarist Johan Murmester, “‘MOFO’ is the opening track of the new album and it sort of sets the tone for the whole creation. You got some thrash, death, and folk music vibes, and that music is about having fun!
“In the building where the recording studio is located,” he continues, “there used to be a research lab, now abandoned, that to some extend has turned into a film studio, where they do all sorts of movies and TV series. We got the opportunity to explore this environment with the amazing Snovonne during two days and the outcome is the video for ‘MOFO!’”
Watch the band’s previously released video for “The Leap” HERE.
Intense Indifference was recorded and engineered by Simon Johansson (Soilwork, Wolf), produced by Johan Murmester, and mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory (Lik, Bloodbath, Katatonia).
The record includes several guest appearances including John Lönnmyr (Night Flight Orchestra) who adds piano to “Transylvanian Buffet,” Bastian Thusgaard (Soilwork) who contributes the shaker on “Burn(h)er” and vibra-slap on “Transylvanian Buffet,” and Linus Öhrn (Valkyrja) who contributes backing vocals on several tracks. Cover art for Intense Indifference was created by Hjules (Accept, Destruction, Jungle Rot) and based on his own interpretations of the record’s lyrics.

Originally called Vildvittra, based on the characters created by Astrid Lindgren as part of Ronja Rövardotter [Swedish for Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter, a children’s fantasy book first published in 1981], their name later evolved into VITTRA, inspired by the mythical creatures appearing in Swedish folk stories. And while Swedish folk is a recurring theme weaving in and out of their music, the band is firmly rooted in melodic death and thrash metal in the vein of At The Gates, Dissection, and Megadeth.

“If ‘Celestial Abscission’ was our big bang out of the gate to show the world what VINTERSEA can do with our new vocalist (Kayla Dixon), ‘Become the Wave’ is a statement about where VINTERSEA is headed and what we want our music to represent,” states guitarist Riley Nix. “In some ways it is a return to form – melodic, brutal, groovy, and inspiring – but it is also different from anything you have heard from us before. Kayla brought huge energy, heartfelt performances, and some really unique tones that drove the song in a fresh direction from the outset.“
Listen to “Become the Wave” and “Celestial Abscission” now on all streaming/download platforms or watch the stunning music video crafted by bassist Karl Whinnery.
“I am super excited for people to scope out the video for ‘Become the Wave.’ We built a unique set in my garage, explored epic locations at the Oregon Coast, and tried a few things we have never done before,” explains Karl. “This is classic VINTERSEA, but with some new moves. Kayla crushed the vocal performance, and used techniques I’ve never heard before. We’ve played this song live on our last couple of tours, and it kills every show. I can’t wait for you all to hear what we can do.“
Become The Wave” was engineered and mixed by Gabe Johnston (Unto Others, Silver Talon) at Falcon Recording Studio and mastered by Troy Glessner (Devin Townsend, Underoath, Moonsorrow) at SPECTRE Mastering. The two singles are the beginnings of a new VINTERSEA album.
In the meantime, the band’s catalog – The Gravity of Fall (2017), Illuminated (2019) and Woven Into Ashes (2023) are all available at our webstore or Bandcamp here: https://vintersea.bandcamp.com/

BEAST EAGLE return with a vengeance, dropping their fierce new single “Send Me Down”, a high-voltage anthem that rages from the shadows and commands the darkness. The track is the first offering from their highly anticipated EP Sorceress, set for release on November 21st, 2025 via Golden Robot Records.
A ferocious ride of thunderous drums, razor-sharp riffs, and an unrelenting chorus made for unison chants in the night, “Send Me Down” tells the tale of a witch cast into exile. But instead of succumbing, she rises, claiming the dark realm as her own. This is her kingdom now, and BEAST EAGLE’s sound embodies that fiery transformation: wild, wicked, and unstoppable.
With Sorceress, BEAST EAGLE sharpen their identity into a weapon of blistering riffs, primal rhythm, and anthemic firepower. Fans can expect a full-throttle experience that blurs the line between raw rock energy and supernatural storytelling.

GOTTHARD literally keep riding the wave of success – and their new single confirms the band’s enduring high impressively! Just days after their latest TV appearance – this time at Germany’s popular Sunday noon program, ZDF’s ‘Rock im Garten’ – the Swiss hard rock icons have released a brand new single called “Ride The Wave“.
The track continues the way the group have taken with their 2025 milestone Stereo Crush (March 21 via Reigning Phoenix Music), and will surely sweeten the last weeks of the summer – and also above and beyond, of course!
Loosely yet boldly kick-started by massive guitar riffing and drums, the single brings an instant feel-good vision to the listeners minds: the sun is burning while you’re cruising through the desert or along the coast in your vintage cabriolet. With “Ride The Wave,” GOTTHARD invite you to have the time of your life leaving all negativity behind and build on the life-celebrating momentum they’ve created on Stereo Crush. Turn it up!
“Ride The Wave went through a couple of versions and recording sessions before we finally found the right vibe for the album. It has this raw, old-school rock energy with gritty guitar riffs and a powerhouse vocal performance of Nic Maeder,” adds guitarist Freddy Scherer.
Set to make additional impact, the new song will also be part of GOTTHARD’s upcoming mini album, aptly titled More Stereo Crush. Further details as well as pre-order options will be announced later this year with even more new music paving its way. Stay tuned!

Stereo Crush was produced, recorded and mixed by long-time producer Charlie Bauerfeind, who’s known for his work with the likes of HELLOWEEN and BLIND GUARDIAN, alongside co-producer and founding member Leo Leoni at Yellowhouse Studio. Mastered by Sascha “Busy” Bühren (TrueBusyness), artwork was once again provided by Thomas Ewerhard (AVANTASIA etc.).

Divided We Fall Tour Kicks Off in October Featuring Support from Onyx, Bayway, and Swollen Teeth
Today, Brooklyn hardcore legends BIOHAZARD are excited to announce ‘Divided We Fall,’ their first studio album in over a decade, out October 17th via BLKIIBLK. Reuniting the original lineup, the album delivers a blistering statement of unity in chaos. To celebrate the announcement, BIOHAZARD has released a new single, “F**k the System,” which is accompanied by a music video available below.
Billy Graziadei (vocals/guitar) had the following to say about the single:
“F**k the System’ is BIOHAZARD calling it like it is. The powers that be have us at odds and beefin’ with each other while they sit back and cash in. It’s no accident the world’s burnin’ in front of our eyes. It’s all divide and control – while they keep us divided by politics, class, race, all of it, and have us out here fighting each other, they’re pulling the strings. ‘F**k the System’ is our war cry about the state of the world with no sugarcoated bullshit.”
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Deftones), ‘Divided We Fall’ captures BIOHAZARD at their most raw, relentless, and unifying. The album blends the band’s unmistakable fusion of hardcore, metal, and streetwise groove with a sharpened edge for a fractured modern world delivering a powerful reminder of why BIOHAZARD remains one of the most vital and influential bands in heavy music.
Bobby Hambel (guitars) on the album:
“We are really excited to finally have the classic BIOHAZARD lineup back together in the studio. This album has been a long time coming, and the record is straight from our hearts. We can’t wait for everybody to hear it, and to head out and play these new songs live. See you out there!”
Recording sessions took place at Shorefire Recording Studios (Long Branch, NJ) and The Hydeaway (Van Nuys, CA), with engineering by Joseph DeMaio and additional recording from Matt Hyde. Guitar and production tech duties were handled by Phil Caivano.
BIOHAZARD’s upcoming release via BLKIIBLK marks a new chapter in a storied career that began in the late ’80s, one defined by aggressive sound, socially conscious lyrics, and an unwavering commitment to their roots.
Divided We Fall – Track List: 1. F**k the System 2. Forsaken 3. Eyes on Six 4. Death of Me 5. Word to the Wise 6. Fight to be Free 7. War Inside Me 8. S.I.T.F.O.A. 9. Tear Down the Walls 10. I Will Overcome 11. Warriors
BIOHAZARD will be on their “Divided We Fall Tour” this Fall with support from Onyx, Bayway, and Swollen Teeth, including a homecoming show at the Warsaw in Brooklyn on October 28th. A full list of dates is below.
About the tour, Evan Seinfeld (vocals/bass) comments:
Judgement Night. The script writes itself. BIOHAZARD is excited to announce our first headlining tour of the U.S. in more than a decade, celebrating our 30-plus year history with Onyx, two of the most hardcore entities in our respective genres. Bayway are killing it, reminiscent of BIOHAZARD’s early rise, and Swollen Teeth bring an entirely different element of heaviness to captivate crowds and evolve our scene. This is going to be a tribal ceremony and a place to release your negative energy in a positive way. See you in the pit!”

Following a substantial Springtime tour, Akron, Ohio-based sludge metal crew RADIAN continues to book new tour dates as they complete work on their impending third album.
RADIAN’s Fall tour schedule sees them playing Female Feature Fest in Erie on September 27th as the band welcomes their new full-time bassist Carly Allman to the lineup. Several weeks later, the band heads back out on another run through the Eastern/Midwest states, with shows in Indianapolis, Columbus, Akron, Rochester, Brooklyn, and Louisville between November 1st and 17th.
RADIAN has completed work on their monstrous third album, which is being finalized for release in early 2026. Details for the album will be issued in the weeks ahead, alongside new tour announcements and more.
RADIAN Autumn 2025 Tour: 9/27/2025 Female Feature Fest @ Centennial Hall – Erie, PA 11/01/2025 State Street Pub – Indianapolis, IN 11/02/2025 Spacebar – Columbus, OH 11/03/2025 Musica – Akron, OH 11/04/2025 Bug Jar – Rochester, NY 11/05/2025 Lucky 13 Saloon – Brooklyn, NY 11/17/2025 Mag Bar – Louisville, KY
Founded by guitarist Mike Burns (formerly of Rue, Fistula, Sofa King Killer), RADIAN emerged in the Winter of 2017. Their vision to merge groove with grime culminated in the roaring, sludgy assault of their independent debut LP, Chapters (2019), praised by The Obelisk as delivering, “that extra bit of aggression one finds underlying the most satisfying of sludge metals.” Fueled by a growing response from the heavy metal community, the dynamic four-piece embraced their DIY roots, building a steady following throughout the Midwest.
This momentum led to the writing and release of their punishing sophomore album, Discordian, on Burns’ own El Burno Records in December 2021. Relentless shows and touring in support of Discordian brought both growth and turbulence, with multiple lineup shifts along the way. RADIAN’s new lineup sees Burns joined by drummer Derek Vaive (Ommnus), vocalist Corey Staley (A Damn Shame), and bassist Carly Allman. Armed with fresh material and a renewed sense of purpose, RADIAN will continue to expand upon the dissemination of their sludgy doom with unrelenting force to everyone they can.
