After many harrowing months of delays, disruptions, natural disasters and narrowly thwarted assassination attempts, the bastards in VISE MASSACRE are proud to finally be unleashing their self-financed debut LP through their new online store.

Having recently received the wax attack of their Expendable Humans full-length from the pressing plant, VISE MASSACRE redesigned their website with a gnarly new online store heavily supplied with tons of fresh new threads and urban battle gear in addition to both the vinyl and digital versions of the new album. THE LOVE BELOW – Entire Debut Full-Length Now Streaming

THE LOVE BELOW will take part in the first-ever West Coast A389 label showcase in Pomona, California on May 19th, joining labelmates Integrity, Ringworm, Seven Sisters Of Sleep, Young And In The Way and more. The band will follow the showcase with a full US tour including a performance at this year’s annual Chaos In Tejas throwdown alongside Sham 69, Saint Vitus, Absu, Ringworm, Dropdead, Nasum, Winter, The Mob, and dozens more.

Comprised of members of Carry The Casket, The Mistake, and Mother Speed, TLB haphazardly coalesce elements of ’90s icons Fall Silent, Endeavor and Left For Dead into a sound akin to more contemporary acts like Pulling Teeth, Trash Talk and Cursed, resulting in purely unhinged mayhem.

SOUTHERN LORD – Confirms Ferocious 2012 Summer Package Tour

Southern Lord this week confirms a devastating label tour package for this June and July, bringing some of the label’s newest and most promising acts as well as some major players on the eclectic but lethal roster together for a near month-long trek across the face of America.

Organized and booked by Southern Lord founder Greg Anderson, the core acts for the tour include the Ontario-based Hardcore/Rock outfit BURNING LOVE (featuring ex-Cursed vocalist), the dark lords of Swedish crust MARTYRDOD making their debut U.S. appearance, Milwaukee’s Punk/Hardcore crossover outfit ENABLER and Seattle’s powerhouse d-beat/death-infused Hardcore bastards BLACK BREATH.

Special additional performances from POISON IDEA, NOOTHGRUSH, PELICAN, POWERTRIP, WILD/TRIBE, DEAD IN THE DIRT, THE SECRET, ALL PIGS MUST DIE and more will join some of the shows regionally as well.

The final routing is still being plotted and finalized and a fully confirmed itinerary will be publicized in the next two weeks as it all takes shape.

POISON IDEA – Southern Lord To Reissue Seminal Titles From Hardcore Punk Legends

Southern Lord Recordings are proud to be officially re-releasing several incredible, seminal titles from Portland, Oregon’s explosive Punk/Hardcore kings, POISON IDEA in 2012!

Southern Lord will be releasing CD versions of several POISON IDEA reissues that TKO Records are currently re-releasing on vinyl. All of the material is being re-mastered by Jack Control (World Burns to Death) and each release includes new, extensive liner notes as well as never before seen photos and previously unreleased bonus material.

This POISON IDEA reissue series kicks off January 31st, with the re-release of Darby Crash Rides Again: The Early Years. Boasting twenty-nine tracks from the band’s earliest days, the album includes the 100% previously unreleased Boner’s Kitchen demo from 1981, the complete Darby Crash Rides Again demo from 1982, the complete uncut live-on-the-air set from the 1983 KBOO radio benefit, and outtakes from the Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes recording session.

Much of this material has either been out-of-print or never before officially released! All the recordings have been meticulously restored and mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door Mastering. The booklet contains liner notes, old flyers and tons of previously unpublished photos from the band’s beginnings. This is a complete no-brainer for POISON IDEA fans or any fan of the early days of American Hardcore Punk.

Following Darby Crash Rides Again in January, Southern Lord will also re-release The Fatal Erection Years (Pick Your King/Record Collectors are Pretentious Assholes), War All The Time, Ian Mackaye, Feel The Darkness, We Must Burn and Last Will & Testament throughout 2012.

Legendary NYHC veterans BIOHAZARD just revealed the cover art for the bands highly anticipated new album “Reborn In Defiance“ which is set to be unleashed January 20, 2012 via Nuclear Blast.

Danny Schuler says, “Being a huge fan of vinyl records and the amazing sleeve artwork that used to come with them, I really wanted our artwork to be unique. In the spirit of being REBORN IN DEFIANCE, the album cover represents to me an interesting paradox: an embryo, not yet spoiled by the world, but already possessing the heart of a rebel.”

Billy Graziadei explains, “The innocence of youth has always been a strong subject for us, with the children playing over a crime scene on the Urban Discipline album cover to the child running with a biological gas mask on the State of the World Address cover. For REBORN IN DEFIANCE, an unborn child waits to be thrown into a world that will steal the untainted purity of infancy we all start out with.”

Danny sums up the cover art’s significance quite simply: “It all begins in the womb”.

NAILS: Death Comes Ripping Co-Headlining Tour With Ringworm

Southern Lord Hardcore henchmen NAILS‘ co-headlining tour with Cleveland Hardcore legends Ringworm is set to begin today, Saturday, July 30, at San Francisco’s 924 Gilman.

The Death Comes Ripping Tour 2011 will ruin fourteen cities in a cross-country rampage in into mid-August. In addition to headliners NAILS and Ringworm, support acts Bitter End and New Lows will take part in the melee. The tour surges towards the East Coast over the next two weeks, coming to a close at the massive four-day This Is Hardcore 2011 Fest in Philadelphia, where Nails and Ringworm will play the same night as Youth of Today, H20, Token Entry, Title Fight, Mouthpiece and a ton of other acts.

Following the tour, NAILS return to 924 Gilman as part of a React Records showcase, playing alongside Mindset, Betrayed, On, No Tolerance, Skin Like Iron and more.
