Dublin, Ireland-based Pagan metal legends, PRIMORDIAL, today unveil their Live In New York City full-length. Recorded earlier this year at Ridgewood, New York’s TV Eye, the stunning collection spans the band’s now legendary catalog with tracks from Spirit The Earth Aflame, The Gathering Wilderness, To The Nameless Dead, Redemption At The Puritan’s Hand, Exile Amongst The Ruins, and their most recent release, How It Ends.
Comments vocalist A.A. Nemtheanga, “Live In New York City, a title that sort of speaks for itself, something every band probably wants in their discography, right? Who knows, we may not be on this mortal coil for that much longer. When might some new music be on the horizon? Who can tell? But when we heard the results of this incredibly well mixed show which captured perfectly the passion, commitment, and fury of a special night, something that doesn’t happen often, we thought, what the hell, let’s put it out there.’
“Victory is traditional in the true meaning of the word, traditional metal in sound but also steeped in traditional Irish music at the same time. An epic rabble rouser, a warrior’s journey, death, sacrifice, and path to the otherworlds set in some distant Celtic past….”

Massachusetts-based hardcore label 1126 Records is pleased to welcome Alabama’s WIELDED STEEL to their crushing roster!
WIELDED STEEL is a ferocious Alabama metalcore outfit forged in blood, sweat, and feedback. Born from the sweltering heat and grit of the deep South, the band channels raw violence through downtuned riffs, bone-breaking breakdowns, and war cry vocals. Their sound is a brutal hybrid of metalcore chaos and old-school death metal precision, a hardcore collision influenced by Terror’s unrelenting aggression, Dehumanized’s crushing technicality, and the merciless ferocity of Dying Fetus.
In celebration of their signing, today WIELDED STEEL drops a video for the new track “Your Words Mean Nothing,” showcasing the DIY Alabama hardcore scene.
Comments vocalist Jesse Clark, “‘Your Words Mean Nothing’ is a song about the empty promises of prosperity that are slung around by the ruling class, to try and keep poor people docile and accepting. How they attempt to use identity politics to pit people against each other and keep them distracted and angry. It’s also about how those politicians, and billionaire CEOs, that engineer and profit off of the suffering of the working class are just people. People that can be made to face consequences. There are more of us than there are of them.”

Metal Nerds Inc. has joined forces with RFK Media to deliver the new 44-page comic book/graphic novel KEELWORLD, in which the Metal Cowboy undertakes a journey through time, from the Hollywood heyday of the 80s to the post-apocalyptic future.
THE SONG: A Metal Cowboy classic, “The Last Ride” is a fast-paced anthem that combines the musical energy of Keel’s metal spirit with the southwest roots that have characterized his work for the past 30 years. A thunderous drum groove courtesy of Mike Vanderhule (Y&T) provides the foundation for Ron’s guitars and vocals, the solo section pits Rascal Flatts’ Travis Toy on dobro against Keith Roberts’ relentless guitar licks, and the lyrics are some of Ron Keel’s best (“Inside and out I’ve earned these scars, from the Sunset Strip to the cowboy bars”).
All links to the CD, downloads, and streaming platforms are one click away at: http://lnk.to/thelastride.
THE VIDEO: Inspired by the comic book and created by Jason McCorriston/McCardy Media, this clip brings the story to life in stunning fashion, recreating the glory years of yesterday amidst the threat of a future ruled by A.I. – available to view exclusively at http://youtube.com/@ronkeelrfkmedia.
THE COMIC BOOK: Published by Metal Nerds Inc. and distributed by RFK Media, this project was written by Brett Monro and Morten Kristiansen, with four different artists bringing each era to life; Francesco Iaquinta, Andrey Portilla, Mauro Bueno, and EV Cantada created distinct visions of yesterday and tomorrow. The book also includes an autographed two-sided pull-out poster, and it’s available at http://rfkmediashop.com.
I’m just driven to create stuff and entertain people,” Ron Keel explains. “Everything we do at RFK Media – the radio station, the movie stuff, the comic book, of course the albums and songs, and whatever else the future holds, it’s still all about the music. The music is our wheels, and without that there wouldn’t be any Last Ride.”
The Finnish progressive thrash metal band Krateros is set to release their debut EP Lost in Translation on January 30th 2026 via Inverse Records. The first single ‘Linguicide’ is unleashed today and it’s available on all essential streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/krateros-linguicide
The band comments: ” “Linguicide” is the first taste of our upcoming EP “Lost in Translation.” With its catchy groove and memorable guitar melody, it is arguably the most “commercial” track from the EP, yet it contains a great blend of all the elements that make our music what it is. Musically, the song is the oldest one on the EP, with the first demo going as far back as February 2020. Lyrically, the song went through two or three rewrites before finding its final form. Some of the discarded ideas have since been used in songs meant for future releases. As a product of our times, “Linguicide” deals with cancel culture and the death of independent thought, whether through self-censorship or outside pressure.”

BIOGRAPHY:
Krateros is an emerging metal band from Helsinki, Finland, founded in 2023 and led by vocalist/guitarist and main songwriter Saku Rekonen. The band’s music combines influences from old-school thrash metal bands such as Annihilator, Exodus, and Megadeth with more contemporary acts like Trivium, Machine Head, and Stam1na, all the while being filtered through a progressive lens
The band’s first EP, Lost in Translation, releasing through Inverse Records, is a response to a perceived lack of riffs that seems to plague the metal scene of the 2020s.
Danish black metal band ORM delivers their fourth album, GULD, out today through their long-running allies at Indisciplinarian.
With GULD, ORM marks another important step in their musical development, building on their characteristic epic and progressive approach to black metal, this time in a more direct and intensified format with five shorter and more concise compositions. Musically, GULD is ORM’s most focused and uncompromising album to date.
The five songs, which range from six to twelve minutes, are built around intense riff structures, relentless rhythmic shifts and complex melodies that weave in and out of each other like a musical kaleidoscope. The album moves between furious aggression, deep sorrow, and ominous calm, placing ORM in a field of tension between traditional black metal and progressive elements drawn from both death metal and classic metal.
Thematically, GULD explores modern humanity’s self-destructive cultivation of negative emotions; a vain and manipulated pursuit of perfection and recognition that leads to fear, isolation and downfall. The album uses frameworks inspired by folklore and fables to portray human vanity, envy and self-deception as universal forces that have haunted mankind’s stories throughout history. Gold becomes a symbol of both wealth and decay, an alluring but poisoned promise that can never be fulfilled without a heavy price.
Listen to ORM’s crushing GULD today on Bandcamp HERE and all other streaming services HERE.
GULD is out now in three vinyl formats – 500 on Black, 150 on Red Gold, and 150 on Bio White – a CD digipak of 200 copies, a cassette run of 100 copies, and digitally at the Indisciplinarian webshop HERE and Bandcamp HERE.
GULD was produced by guitarist/vocalist Simon Sonne Andersen and ORM, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Internal Bleeding, Vastum), and completed with artwork by Asger W. Krogh and photography by Lasse Høgh.
ORM was formed in 2015 and released its eponymous debut album in 2017, introducing the band’s melodic and ambitious approach to black metal.
ORM unites human synergy and analog craftsmanship – both in their music and in their visual expression, where collage artist Asger Krogh’s tactile artwork stands in contrast to today’s AI-driven aesthetics and emphasizes the album’s physical and organic undertone.
With GULD, ORM once again demonstrates their ability to combine extreme music with deep thematic layers and artistic ambition, cementing their position as one of Europe’s most visionary black metal bands.
Please welcome Josef Beck on drums! Josef brings insane power, precision and passion and we’re beyond excited to kick off this new chapter with him.
At the same time, we want to give a massive shoutout to Tobias Schmeisser. Tobias, we’re grateful for every show, every rehearsal, every brutal and of course, hilarious moment we shared. Thank you for your dedication!

Chile’s OVERTOUN has signed with Time To Kill Records for the release of their third album, Death Drive Anthropology. The record is firmly rooted in the ’90s death-thrash tradition but features a modern edge that keeps it agile and current, bridging the gap from Carcass and Atheist to contemporary acts like Revocation. The music also incorporates a compelling Latin influence, adding a unique flavor to the band’s sound.
Further details on the album will be announced soon.
OVERTOUN is a death-thrash metal band based between Santiago, Chile, and Boston, MA, fusing the rich musical heritage of Latin America with the complexity and aggression of technical death metal. Founded by Agustín Lobo and Matías Bahamondes, the band solidified its lineup with Yoav Ruiz-Feingold (Atheist, Graviton) on vocals and Matías Salas on bass.
Their discography includes two full-length albums: Centuries of Lies (2018) and This Darkness Feels Alive (2021). The latter was mastered by Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica) and won Best Metal Artist at the 2022 Chilean Pulsar Awards (Chilean Grammys), earning strong praise from the specialized media.
OVERTOUN has performed extensively throughout Latin America, with five national tours in Chile, a tour in Brazil, and shows in Argentina, sharing the stage with Death To All, Sinister, Cryptopsy, and Atheist. In 2025, the band completed its first tour of Japan, including performances in Yokohama and Tokyo, with an appearance at the Tokyo Brutal Fest.
Produced by Martín Furia (Destruction, Bark), OVERTOUN’s third album marks a bold new chapter, introducing darker, genre-defining material that aims to amplify Chilean metal’s global presence.

Atlanta blackened thrash visionaries MALEFIC have unveiled their first single, “It Haunts” and are set to unleash their debut album, Impermanence, via Terminus Hate City on February 13th, 2026. “It Haunts” introduces the band with their signature intricate harmonies and deft guitar work, dragging the listener deep into the blackened abyss they have carved. Fierce vocals tell a fittingly haunting tale about a mystery of a supernatural nature, and an epic guitar solo commands rapt attention. The song closes with ghostly arpeggios, leaving the listener shrouded in gloom and contemplating the unknowable.
MALEFIC lineup: Jason Davila – Guitar Aaron Baumoel – Drums, Vocals Sam Williams – Guitar Andy McGraw – Bass
Track Listing: 1. Blood Of The Throne 2. In Darkest Dreams 3. Of Gods And Man 4. Idiocracy 5. Deserter 6. Disembodiment 7. Obsidian Earth 8. Echoes Of Silence 9. It Haunts
About MALEFIC: MALEFIC roared onto the Atlanta metal scene in 2007 with ambitions to modernize the black metal genre. With their tight riffs, tasty leads, and relatable lyricism, MALEFIC abandons cliches and defies traditional genre boundaries. Their special blend of black metal, drawing from thrash and death metal influences, appeals to metalheads across subgenres.
They count OLD MAN’S CHILD, CARCASS, TESTAMENT, DISSECTION, and OPETH among their most prominent influences, offering a fresh, modern take on metal that is unrivaled in the United States.
Though they are set to release their very first full-length album, Impermanence, in 2026, MALEFIC boasts an impressive live performance history, having played shows with notable bands such as 1349, CRYPTA, and PROFANATICA. After a hiatus in 2009, the band eagerly picked back up where they left off and reformed with a new lineup.
MALEFIC initially began work on Impermanence in 2018, taking their time to ensure that every detail accurately reflected their vision for their album. The band’s hard work and dedication has culminated in a powerful debut, lovingly crafted by fans of nuanced, boundary-pushing music.
Birthed in the wet grounds and grey skies of the Pacific Northwest, OLD MOON aims to bring a unique new band to tell the tales of life’s sorrows.
Depression, grief, loss of self and death are the keys that stitch these heart aching lyrics together. Accompanied to feed the image, a beautiful orchestra fills the air, meeting a breath of guitar melodies entangling melodic death and post black metal together in solidarity. Binding a tense and resonating sound that strikes the mind and embraces the heart, this is OLD MOON.
The Portland-based outfit, founded by Michael Priest (Gone In April, Idolatrous, ex-Boudica), self-released a 3-song EP last November. That EP left an impression on M-Theory Audio label founder Marco Barbieri who recognized the vision and potential of OLD MOON keeping tabs as the group built and solidified itself with a full lineup, live shows and the eventual recording of a full album that secured a release with the label for late spring 2026.
“We put a lot of time into looking for a respectable label that we could trust to properly take care of our music. Seeing the reputation and consistency of M-Theory the choice was made easy for us,” states Michael Priest.
“We’re very excited to be joining M-Theory and stand alongside the amazing roster of bands that they already have. We’re looking forward to future releases with the label and other opportunities that this partnership presents.“
The relationship begins with the release of the band’s new single “Obsidian” available on all digital streaming/download platforms, or watch the group’s music video.
‘“Obsidian’ as a title is a metaphor for the music and the lyrics. In a way of something being strong and sharp but also weak and brittle,” explains Michael Priest. “That’s something that kind of represents a major theme for the music, painting a picture of anger that developed from sadness and vice versa. The EP of course had the sound to match that but choosing to do a video for “Obsidian” I think puts a face to the music in a way that visually describes the band and music in an accurate and honest way.”
“Obsidian” is the first preview of the group’s forthcoming full-length, planned for spring 2026. More information about the album and pre-order will be announced in the coming months. In the meantime, please enjoy “Obsidian” and lend an ear to their self-titled EP available on digital platforms or via Bandcamp https://oldmoonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/old-moon-ep.

The 12-track record pushes extreme metal into new territory, blending hardcore intensity with nü-metal, R&B, hip-hop, shoegaze, and beyond. Boolin Tunes awarded it 9/10, calling the album “an absolutely outstanding, and extremely promising modern metalcore debut,” while Uber Rock described Pure Light as “dynamic” and “eclectic.”
“Pure Light is the culmination of eight consistent years together as a group,” the band shared collectively. “Through thick and thin, every blessing and every curse, we have pressed on to eventually lead to this moment. This album is an invitation to join us in a conversation on the human experience and celebrate the good, bad, and ugly of life. We are beyond thankful to present this experience to anyone who listens. When you walk away from Pure Light, remember you are loved, cherished and wanted.”
In the lead-up to today’s release, the South Carolina-based band shared two previews. The first, “Front Door Phobia” featuring Andrew Herman from Johnny Booth, explores political unrest and social isolation, while the second song, “Obsolete,” is described by vocalist Nick Rendelman described as “the most abrupt callout-of-a-song we’ve ever written. This one is for anyone who has been harmed by someone they care for, and for the human reactions that come with it.”
Building on their earlier DIY EPs, Wiltwither expanded their sonic and conceptual scope with Pure Light. The album imagines a government experiment in which test subjects are dosed with a mysterious drug called Pure Light, unlocking telepathic bonds that are exploited and manipulated until the subjects lose their humanity. Across twelve tracks, the band narrates this descent with unflinching heaviness, cinematic interludes, and fearless experimentation.

Wiltwither is Nick Rendelman (vocals), Dakota Brown (guitar), Joshua Davis (guitar), Anna Harper (bass) and Tyler Syphertt (drums). The quintet have quietly bulldozed their way out of the Carolinas with a venomous vision.
Their previous EPs, The House I Lived and Died In (2023) and The Yellow Wallpaper (2024), drew early praise from Knotfest (“excellent”) and saw them touring with VCTMS, Heavy // Hitter, and more. With their debut album, Pure Light, the band sharpen their concept-driven storytelling while leveling up sonically and emotionally.

Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026.
“Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw and emotionally charged.
“It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily.
The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy and unapologetically heavy.
Formed after Lily’s solo debut at Melodi Grand Prix 2022, Lily Löwe quickly grew into a full band featuring some of Norway’s top heavy rock talent: Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn), Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed), Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers) and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion). Their debut album LÖWE earned critical acclaim, and their upcoming release promises to push boundaries even further.
“Beautiful Disaster” is a sonic journey through power, vulnerability, and transformation, blending classic hard rock roots with modern edge. From the glam-punk riot of “Glitter & Gore” to the emotional wreckage of the title track, the album is “all killer, no filler,” according to the band.
Fans can expect more singles leading up to the album’s release, and a live show that’s as intense as the music itself, with raw emotion, heavy riffs, and hooks that stick.
“Haunted House” is available now on all major streaming platforms. Beautiful Disaster arrives February 6, 2026.
