THOUGHT CHAMBER Sophomore Album “Psykerion” via InsideOutMusic – Reveal Cover Artwork!

Posted in Metal, metal music, Music, progressive metal, rock music, rock music news with tags , , , , , on August 10, 2013 by Metal Odyssey

Thought Chamber - Psykerion - promo cover pic

Los Angeles, CA – Progressive Metallers THOUGHT CHAMBER are finally back with a new release, following up on their acclaimed debut album “Angular Perceptions” from 2007. The U.S. based group named their second album release “Psykerion” and it will be released on September 16th, 2013 in Europe and on October 1st, 2013 in North America via InsideOutMusic.

Next to guitarist and composer Michael Harris as well as vocalist Ted Leonard (also in Enchant, Spock’s Beard and Affector), THOUGHT CHAMBER’s ranks of skilled players now also feature Bill Jenkins (also in Enchant) on keyboards, Jeff Plant on bass and Mike Haid on drums.

THOUGHT CHAMBER’s mastermind Michael Harris checked in to comment about the new album as follows: We’re all very excited about finally releasing ‘Psykerion’! A lot of changes have occurred in the band since our first record. Beyond Ted & I, we now have Mike Haid on drums, Jeff Plant on bass and Bill Jenkins on keyboards, who all did a stellar job and are all great guys on top of that, so our chemistry is perfect. ‘Psykerion’ is a concept record – a sci-fi human drama – musically yielding everything from prog-metal to jazz-fusion to acoustic.

“Psykerion” contains 16 tracks / 64 minutes of superb true progressive metal with a technical sci-fi twist, likely to appeal to fans of Dream Theater, Yes, Rush or Planet X. The album’s cover artwork, which can be seen above, was designed by John E. Holland / MistyMountainGraphics.com. The album was recorded in various locations between 2012 and 2013 and finally mixed and mastered by Tom Size (Y&T, Aerosmith, Mr. Big, Enchant) at Tomland Studios, Pacheco, CA.

More details about “Psykerion” and some first music samples will follow in the coming weeks…

THOUGHT CHAMBER Line-Up:

Ted Leonard – Lead vocals

Michael Harris – Guitars, keyboards, harmony vocals

Jeff Plant – Bass

Bill Jenkins – Keyboards

Mike Haid – Drums

STRYPER “Second Coming” – STRYPER Revisits Their Classics; A Legendary Compilation

Stryper - Second Coming - promo cover pic!

5 Out Of 5 METAL Fists!

Metal Fists 5 Metal Odyssey

STRYPER – Being a lifelong fan of STRYPER, I found it exciting news that this legendary Christian Heavy Metal band was going to release an album of re-recorded hits; with two new studio tracks. I’m even more excited now that I’ve had this entire Summer to enjoy Second Coming (Frontiers Records). This album makes for a definitive collection of STRYPER classics. These are the songs that STRYPER chose to re-record and they have given powerful new life to each one of them!

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always revere the original songs that are represented as re-recordings on Second Coming. Besides, I’ve always found it (gasp) fun when a famous band decides to do a cover song album. With STRYPER covering their own classics, it really doesn’t get any better than this for fans waiting on their forthcoming studio album of original material: No More Hell To Pay (Frontiers Records – On November 5th).

Michael Sweet (guitarist, vocalist) has never sounded better on vocals, on Second Coming. Cliche? Nope. It’s truth for me. Collectively, this album of sixteen songs couldn’t sound any better unless there were thirty-two songs! Guitarist Oz Fox, drummer Robert Sweet and bassist Timothy Gaines all shine once again. Cliche? Nope. It’s reality for me.

Stryper - promo band pic - #77 - 2013

The two new studio tracks, Bleeding From Inside Out and Blackened are Heavy Metal gems! If this is the direction STRYPER is going with No More Hell To Pay, then I’m chopping at the bit for November 5th to come! Both of these new and heavy songs signify loud and clear, to me, that STRYPER are proud leaders of Christian Heavy Metal and have so much more to give to their fans!

I now look upon Second Coming as a victorious moment in the illustrious career of STRYPER. Why? This is a band that has survived and thrived, since 1983; overcoming the same hurdles, setbacks, trends and record industry gaffes that any other band from their era has endured. Nevertheless, the strong survive and STRYPER has stood the test of time and persevered, through their quality discography and sensational live concerts.

Second Coming, to me, serves as a powerful musical testament from STRYPER that they have been here all along, are here now and are looking to the future as well. An inspiring, influential and faith-filled Heavy Metal band that has spanned four decades and stuck to their principles. You can’t get any more truer than that; therefore, my sincere admiration for STRYPER is obvious and I’ve (historically) never held that back, here on Metal Odyssey. Metal be thy name.

PRESENTING “WORLD MUSIC, RHYTHM-AND-BLUES & A LITTLE FUNK” CONCERT ON AUGUST 17TH AT UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE

(Los Angeles, CA) There is no rest for the Def Leppard lead guitarist, PHIL COLLEN, as he will join the internationally acclaimed Koto Artist YUKIKO MATSUYAMA at a special concert August 17th at 7:30 pm in the University of La Verne’s Morgan Auditorium.

COLLEN, a cross-cultural entity himself, is proud to perform alongside internationally acclaimed Koto artist, Yukiko Matsuyama, who blends world, jazz, new age and pop music on the Koto, a 13-stringed, 7th-century Japanese instrument. Add to the line-up a few special friends – legendary drummer James Gadson, sizzling saxophonist Greg Vail, and djembe drum master Steve Biondo – and you have the “World Music, Rhythm-and-Blues and A Little Funk” concert!

“When I was asked to perform with James Gadson,” COLLEN explains, “I felt like I already knew him due to the amount of times I’ve watched Bill Withers’ performances. It’s a pleasure to just have the opportunity to groove with him. I look forward to blending what I do with James’ great drums and the virtuoso Koto playing of Yukiko Matsuyama.”

DIESTO “For Water Or Blood” – One HEAVY Album For Your 2013 NEED List!

Diesto - For Water Or Blood - promo cover pic

4.5 Metal Fists Out Of 5!

Metalfistredbckgrndsmall4Metal Odyssey - Metal Fist - Half!

DIESTO – Portland, Oregon is home to DIESTO; a band that’s incredibly heavy, from every musical angle, note and lyric. Every instrument played in this band is played heavy as freaking hell. Stoner, Doom and even CLUTCH fans who’ve not heard DIESTO (yet) will revel in this band’s sound. Aw, hell, any Metal fan will have something to marvel at with DIESTO; this band is that good. DIESTO = Riff Fest.

DIESTO will be seeing their fifth album, For Water Or Blood, release on August 27th, via (the mighty) Eolian Empire. This new DIESTO album is without any Metal doubt in my Metal mind, one you have to put on your need list. I want to feature the very best on Metal Odyssey and give my fellow Metal brethren choices that are (to me) legit and badass. DIESTO fits that Metal criteria very well.

DIESTO:

Mark Bassett – Guitar & Vocals
Chris Dunn – Guitar & Vocals
Devon Christian Shirley – Drums
Rusty Powers – Bass

DIESTO pronounces the old school Doom in their songs (think early Black Sabbath) and makes it all sound so rich and powerful! Don’t be fooled that there is (only) 7 songs on For Water Or Blood, these songs are not quickies. This is an album for the backwoods bonfires, with kegs tapped and beer flowing abundantly, below a smoke-filled night sky. This is an album for the big cities too, DIESTO is a band you want your elitist neighbors to hear you playing LOUD so they don’t think of messing with you.

DIESTO are outstanding Metal musicians in my Metal world; listening to these dudes hammer away on this album is a great way to escape from the shit going on in the world right now. The sandpapered and Herculean vocals of (guitarist) Chris Dunn are simply awesome. For Water Or Blood was just the Metal remedy I needed this past week, to keep my Metal veins pumping and my Metal soul burning bright. Metal be thy name.

Empire Of Rats - S:T - promo cover pic

A389 Recordings this week proclaims the signing of Columbus, Ohio-based death-dealers EMPIRE OF RATS and the impending release of their vindictive self-titled debut full-length recording this Autumn.

A cast of warriors who have collectively done time in Palehorse, Under One Flag, Pitboss 2000 and countless others unify in their hateful talents in EMPIRE OF RATS, forming a devastating style which is a brutal reminder that heavy hardcore is alive and well. On their self-titled debut LP these scene-veterans have created a perfect record that is sincere, energetic and unapologetically pissed-off without coming off as paint-by-numbers, an eleven-anthem dose of metallic, unsuppressed aggression with a style that will inspire fans of Hatebreeed, 100 Demons, Cold As Life, Ringworm, Crucified, Homewrecker and the like to seek street revenge on their enemies in no time. Bearing cover art by Linas Garsys, the deal is sealed and now A389 will release the album via download and 12” vinyl on October 1st, 2013.

Today Lambgoat dishes out the first public beatdown from Empire Of Ratswith an exclusive stream of the track “Another Minute In Hell” – CLICK HERE TO UNLEASH.

Having stormed crowds live regionally across American wastelands including pit-fueled sets at U.S. festivals including The Rumble, This Is Hardcore and more, EMPIRE OF RATS will announce new live throwdowns and tour actions in support of the looming LP over the coming months.

PROSPEKT – Sensory Records Confirms Pending Full-Length From British Quartet

Posted in Heavy Metal, heavy metal albums, Metal, metal music, Music, progressive metal, rock music, rock music news with tags , , , , on August 8, 2013 by Metal Odyssey

Prospekt - The Colourless Sunrise - promo cover pic -

Oxford, England-based quartet PROSPEKT has signed with progressive metal linchpin Sensory Records for the pending release of the band’s massive debut full-length.

Coalescing the fierce technicality of progressive metal with the symphonic elements of contemporary prog through brutal riffs, odd time-signatures, and majestic melodies, PROSPEKT’s sound is influenced by bands such as Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth and Circus Maximus, as well as film scores and fusion. The band’s intent is to create an intelligent and atmospheric mix of melodic, modern progressive metal, incorporating passionate high-range vocals, frenetic guitar work, haunting orchestration and solid grooves, every composition remaining interesting and original.

PROSPEKT - band promo pic - 2013 - #1

Formed in 2008 by guitarist Lee Luland and drummer Blake RichardsonPROSPEKT began as an experimental project, with the focus on complex instrumentation. Through incessant amounts of writing and rehearsing, the duo forged a sound that would epitomize their technical, melodic and progressive methodology. With the addition of bassist Phil Wicker and vocalist Matt Winchester in 2009, the band released their self-titled debut EP in March 2011 which was met with critical acclaim. In the Fall of that year Richard Marshall joined the band on keyboards and lead vocals (replacing Matt), adding a new dimension to the music. With his smooth, powerful voice the compositions became more epic and charismatic. Soon after the lineup shift PROSPEKT hit the studio and recorded their debut full-length, The Colourless Sunrise, and hired world-renowned producer Jens Bogren and Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood of Periphery to mix and master the epic, sixty-five minute album.

The Colourless Sunrise is scheduled for October 2013 release via Sensory Records, a division of The Laser’s Edge. Further details will be released in the coming weeks.

WOLFPAKK “Cry Wolf” – Releasing On August 30th, Via AFM Records

Posted in Hard Rock, hard rock albums, hard rock bands, hard rock news, Heavy Metal, Music, rock music, rock music news with tags , , , , on August 7, 2013 by Metal Odyssey

Wolfpakk - Cry Wolf - promo cover pic

From AFM Records:

To seasoned music lovers, it was obvious and little or no surprise, that the WOLFPAKK debut album of 2011 would not be the last we would hear of the all-star project led by Mark Sweeney (ex-Crystal Ball) and Michael Voss (Mad Max, ex-Casanova). Now, two years later, WOLFPAKK returns with brand new album “Cry Wolf”, and once again many high-class musicians contribute with their very own styles and strengths, forging an album that even outshines that well-received debut.

As on “Wolfpakk” (2011), Voss and Sweeney wrote all the songs together (bar 1 cover version) and were responsible once again for production, mix and vocals.

The process of creating “Cry Wolf” held many personal highlights for the WOLFPAKK leaders, one definitely being the participation of iconic keyboard player Tony Carey, keyboard player for none other than Rainbow.

Mark Sweeney - Michael Voss - Wolfpakk - promo pic - #4 - 2013

Mark Sweeney and Michael Voss

“It was just unbelievable to have the great Tony Carey on our album”, Sweeney reflects. “The man is a legend and was part of the line-up which recorded Rainbow’s “Rising”, one of the most important albums in rock history. Now, doing a cover version of a track from this very album with Tony playing keyboards, is something very special. And the fact that he likes our cover version of “Run With The Wolf” a lot, makes us extremely proud”.

But Carey is just one of the many fantastic musicians to join the “Pakk” this time. In fact the impressive cast list reads like a veritable “who’s who” of the Hard Rock/Metal scene:

Vocals:

Amanda Somerville (Kiske/Somerville), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Göran Edman (Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen), Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell, Hardline), Doogie White (Ex-Rainbow, Michael Schenker), Tony Mills (Shy, TNT), Blaze Baley (Ex-Iron Maiden), Piet Sielck (Iron Savior), Jean-Marc Viller (Callaway)

Bass:

Mike Winkler (Session Musician)

Guitars:

Kee Marcello (Ex-Europe), Mandy Meyer (Krokus, Ex-Gotthard), Roland Grapow (Masterplan), Martin Rauber (Top4tea)

Keyboards:

Don Airey (Deep Purple), Tony Carey (Ex-Rainbow)

Drums:

Gereon Homann (Eat The Gun), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake /Ozzy), Hermann Rarebell (Ex-Scorpions), Roland Jahoda (Ex-Paradox, F.U.C.K.)

Style-wise the material of “Cry Wolf” follows pretty much the same path as the successful debut. Meaning: any fan of high-quality hard rock can look forward to an album full of catchy, powerful songs, with enough variety to remain exciting forever and a day. From up-tempo smashers such as “The Beast In Me” to beautiful ballads (“Cold Winter”), stomping mid-paced songs (“Pressure Down”) and its 10-minute, epic title track, “Cry Wolf” just delivers.

WOLFPAKK have recently filmed video clips for the songs “Dark Revelation” and “Cold Winter”, both (while very different) enthralling, And you can bet your bottom dollar, that Sweeney and Voss are already talking about and crafting ideas for future collaborations…

Iconic Christian Rockers Stryper’s New Studio Album “No More Hell to Pay” Is Due Out In November On Frontiers Records

_____________________________________________

Frontiers Records is proud to announce the release of iconic Christian rockers Stryper’s new studio album, NO MORE HELL TO PAY; the offering has been confirmed for a November 1st release in Europe and November 5th in North America and will be available in two formats – standard CD and deluxe digipak featuring exclusive video content.

Produced by frontman/guitarist Michael Sweet himself, the set features some of Stryper’s strongest and heaviest material ever. Check out below a special video message from Michael Sweet:

Sweet also commented: “NO MORE HELL TO PAY marks our 30 year anniversary and what a journey it has been! It’s our eleventh studio release since our first album in 1984 (THE YELLOW & THE BLACK ATTACK) and it’s quite possibly our best record to date. Why? It’s everything you might expect from a Stryper record – high octane vocals, layered vocal harmonies, guitar solos galore, driving drums and bass and an energy that hasn’t been achieved since our glory days. The message is equally as powerful as it offers hope and inspiration to anyone listening. If you’re a Stryper fan, it’ll make you proud to be one. If you’re not, listen with caution as you may actually become one. We’ve been waving the striped flag for 30 years and we’re proud to say that it’s an honor to still be making music with you and for you. The best is yet to come and it’s coming November 5th!”

After a sabbatical for much of the 1990’s, Stryper returned strong in the early 21st century. To date, the band has sold upwards of 8 million records worldwide and are a Dove Award-winner and Grammy nominee. Stryper is the first band to have two songs in MTV’s Top 10 simultaneously.

HORLET “The Keys Of Life And Death” – A Debut Underground METAL Gem Of 2013

Horlet - The Keys Of Life And Death - promo cover

5 Out Of 5 METAL Fists!

Metal Fists 5 Metal Odyssey

HORLET – Underground Metal has its tried and true warriors, all over this big ball of rock we call Earth. Horlet is a band of such warriors and they call the greater Dayton, Ohio area home. Horlet is an underground Metal band that makes me proud. Quality Metal is reason #1 and a debut album that has literally left me awestruck is reason #2. The album is The Keys Of Life And Death; an album you cannot afford to not know about and pick up!

Horlet are unsigned and playing live at every chance they get. Horlet will be opening for Texas Metal legends HELLYEAH, on August 13th. Horlet has one of the very best Metal albums I’ve listened to in 2013; so rich with quality musicianship, vocals and songs, that the big and independent labels better find out about Horlet soon! Very soon. I am convinced that once any true Metalhead samples a song or two from The Keys Of Life And Death, they will be sold on Horlet. The production across the board is killer on this album, accentuating the conscientious work ethic of Horlet.

________________________________

Epic and (old school) Melodic Death Metal is the Metal forte of Horlet, while Thrash Metal fans will find plenty to cheer about with this album as well. There are four short interludes heard on The Keys Of Life And Death; all four are integral to the flow of this album and highlights the expansion of thought that Horlet wants the listener to be engaged in. If you’re like me, you will be convinced that Horlet has been recording together for many, many years; that’s how sensational all these songs come together. You shall be amazed by this band!

I cannot express any more loudly and clearly: Horlet is a turn-key Metal band for a Metal record label to sign, seal and Metal deliver to the Metal masses. The songwriting and lyrics are amazing unto themselves; coupled with the high tier musical skill sets of this band, the Metal future MUST be aglow with the Metal of Horlet. Underground Metal legends are not manufactured overnight. Horlet is the real fucking deal. Metal be thy name.

LYNCH MOB – 1992 S/T Album Is: Stone’s METAL Pick Of The Day!

Lynch Mob - 1992 - promo cover pic

5 Out Of 5 METAL Fists!

Metal Fists 5 Metal Odyssey

LYNCH MOB – I never owned this Lynch Mob classic, until 2 weeks ago. I went to Omega Records in downtown Dayton, Ohio and found this Lynch Mob gem sitting in the used section of “Metal” for just $2.99 (U.S.). Whoa!! No brainer time! I grabbed this self-titled Lynch Mob CD in 1 micro-second and the rest is history, baby! The CD, jewel case and liner notes are in pristine condition too! Whoa again!

Best Metal Buddy, Scott Coverdale, had texted me (back when I first moved to the Dayton area) that there was an Omega Records close by. It’s quite the indie record store and I’ll write all about it in a future post. For now, this post is dedicated to the S/T Lynch Mob album from 1992 and it’s:

Stone’s METAL Pick Of The Day!

This sophomore album from Lynch Mob is so damn good, it’s scary. Seriously. I could NOT give this Lynch Mob classic anything less than 5 Metal fists! The guitar master and legendary George Lynch is incredible on this album (as always) and vocalist Robert Mason is freaking smokin’!! I’d go as far to say this Lynch Mob album is better than their 1990 debut: Wicked Sensation.

I absolutely love Wicked Sensation too; I especially admire the vocals of Oni Logan. However, Lynch Mob is so pumped up with psyched-out energy and Hard Rock bliss that I’ll place this album in my top 20 Hard Rock albums of all-time and not blink an eye!! Metal be thy name!! The loyal (and talented) Mick Brown is on drums and Anthony Esposito is the bassist. What a lineup this version of Lynch Mob was!

I honestly never think of fast forwarding, at any moment, when this CD is cranking into my brain. No way. The kick-ass bonus about this album is Lynch Mob performs a whiz-bang cover of Tie Your Mother Down from the ultra-iconic Queen. This Lynch Mob cover kicks absolute, 100%, mega-potent ass!! My unequivocal Metal recommendation, to ALL my Metal and Hard Rock brethren is: find this CD and buy it!! If you already own it, then… you Rock!!

ZUD “The Good, The Bad And The Damned” – Maine Metal Has Invaded!

Posted in Black Metal, Heavy Metal, heavy metal albums, Metal, metal music, Music, rock music, rock music news with tags , , , , , on August 5, 2013 by Metal Odyssey

ZUD - promo band pic - 2013 - #1

4 Out Of 5 METAL Fists!

Metalfistredbckgrndsmall4

ZUD – When I think of Thompson’s Point, Maine, the last thing I would think of is Black Metal or any Metal at all. I dunno, it’s Maine for crap sakes. I think of those moose crossing/warning signs I used to see when I did venture into that state as a printing salesman. Hey. That was a long time ago. I wore an embarrassing tie for that shit job. Alright, enough of my bullshit and onto ZUD; and this Black Metal meets 70’s Classic Rock band is from Thompson’s Point, Maine. Metal be thy name.

This Debut Album From ZUD Is Titled: The Good, The Bad And The Damned

ZUD knows how to jam. ZUD can shred. ZUD can probably do any damn thing they want to do, way, way up there in Thompson’s Point, Maine. Portal To Infinity is a rather quick intro. It’s not that spooky to me. Then again, I’m the dude that brags about really seeing a spectre back in the late 80’s. No, I wasn’t drunk or high at that particular time. At 12:47, Skull Shaped Hell is one hell of a blackened jam! This song is so damn good that it seems like it’s only 4 minutes long to me.

ZUD - The Good The Bad And The Damned - promo cover

Blood And Twilight at 8:23 long, continues the guitar driven and darkened good-times. Is it proper to use “good-times” within an album review that is Black Metal themed? Hey. At my age it’s good-times just going to buy a 6-pack of Yuengling. The Junction clocks in at 9:40. As you can see, these songs are long. However, these songs kick some blackened backwoods ass. Dendrite Fumes entertains at 9:15 long. There’s a ton of bang for your Metal buck with this ZUD album; and it’s underground Metal that’s saturated with quality song writing, musicianship and vocals.

With Black Metal vocals, Classic Rock intervals of guitar jamming, intense drumming and moments of Metal extremity with evil lyrics, ZUD is a band that I’m more than happy to embrace and welcome into my Metal world of loyalty. Shit. I used the word “happy” in this album review. Whatever. Y’all get my Metal point. ZUD is the real Metal deal and if you think that sounds cliché then go read some old copies of Reader’s Digest. Metal be thy Maine. Oops. I meant name.

DAVE MUSTAINE & MEGADETH – Can We Stop Throwing Stones At These METAL Legends?

Posted in Heavy Metal, heavy metal albums, heavy metal news, Metal, metal music, Music, rock music, rock music news, Thrash Metal with tags , , , , on August 4, 2013 by Metal Odyssey

Megadeth Chrome Logo Banner 2009

It seems to me, since the legendary Dave Mustaine made public he is a man of Christian faith, that the insults, negative comments and bullshit, nonsensical rhetoric has been thrown his way like a tsunami. It’s a mob rules mentality when it comes to throwing stones at Dave Mustaine and Megadeth.

Gee, if Dave Mustaine announced himself as an atheist, would that make him more cool? Gee, if Dave Mustaine announced himself as a Satanist, would it make him more attractive and bitchin? If Dave Mustaine made it clear he was a die-hard liberal, would ALL fans and critics praise his every step in life? If Dave Mustaine was constantly being found passed out in the gutters of Hollywood Boulevard, would it make him a Metal hero?

Megadeth - Super Collider - promo cover pic!

Many fans, critics and those not in the know have labeled the new album from Megadeth, Super Collider, as a terrible and/or worst Megadeth album ever. Give me a fucking break. That’s totally insane. Have y’all ever listened to Metallica’s crap from the 90’s? Save for The Black Album, Metallica did everything they could to get on the good side of Rolling Stone magazine and the bullshit Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, with their radio friendly and garbage pail albums from the 90’s.

Dave Mustaine has made his mistakes in life, there’s no doubt. He’s admitted it all in his fantastic and sincere 2011 biography. Gigantour has given bands a commercial lift when they needed it most, while keeping the Metal fires burning in the mainstream spotlight. Dave Mustaine is not a perfect human being; nor is Megadeth a perfect Metal band.

Mustaine - autobiography promo cover pic!

If y’all want to bitch and moan about something in the world of Metal, then bitch about how Sharon Osbourne has controlled the Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne machines. Bitch and shit your pants about how The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is an anti-Metal good-ol-boys-club and ignores the facts that Judas Priest, Deep PurpleRainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Iron Maiden, KISSMotörhead, Scorpions and Helloween even exist.

Enough is enough. Dave Mustaine helped (in an ENORMOUS way) to pioneer the legacy of Metallica. The proof is right in front of you. For the Megadeth and Dave Mustaine haters out there, do your fucking Metal homework. Dave Mustaine and Megadeth are every bit the Thrash Metal pioneers that Metallica are. Dave Mustaine and his Megadeth band are not just Metal legends, they’re Metal icons. For those haters out there, show some fucking respect or get the hell out of our Metal family. Metal be thy name.
